Never ever tried to purchase a house via OpenDoor! They tried to purchase house from owner and immediately increase the price without doing anything! Which inflated the markets. I tried to purchase one from them, but they barely respond your questions. After I get my loan approval, and thought we can close in advance. It turns out there are violations in the house and they never disclosures or tried to address it. We have to wait until the closing date to cancel the contract, a huge waste of time!

It worked better 2 yrs ago when we were looking for our 1st home. We are now looking for a bigger home as we are expanding our family and it seems the app is always having issues and I'm having to call to get houses unlocked. I'm not a realtor yet, I will be in a few months but they need to fix the issues so we don't have to call every time. Also ny husband was told that he needed a realtor to tour an opendoor house, I opened my app and called and they let me in. Get it together!!!

Poor experience. Went to see a home listed by opendoor, they insisted there was a "keypad" to enter a code. No keypad. We stood outside for 30 minutes before tech support could help us (had to call them twice). They insisted there was a keypad, but nothing to be found. No wonder the listing has been sitting for so long! +2 stars because they were very friendly and understanding just incredibly slow and difficult.

Touring the home was easy. The door didn't unlock until a minute after our scheduled time but it was OK. Love the fact that you can tour without the feel of being watched, though there were camera's in the house as a safeguard.

Schedule a viewing three days ago. My viewing was changed the last minute without prior notification. Called customer support and they had a 54 min wait time. (No thanx). I don't recommend at all.

Strange. They claim to serve my area with a listing found in person, but cannot self tour as promised by advertising found at house with their sign out front. Nothing found in my state. Later, I find an open door owned house: sticker on the door declaring they own it, Open Door sign at the curb, yet still cannot get in to see it, which is what they advertise: views without a real estate agent. Persistent fail from my point of view. Curious how honest they are: Physical signs mean nothing

Nothing works. Not user friendly. Very time consuming as an agent to make a showing appointment and execute the showing procedure. Not doing their sellers any favors by using this discount brokerage.
