One of the better meter apps however I can't really see any use for this when this is usually just a tiny part of a much more complete app. I only know if 2 uses that these may be useful, setting phase of speaker drivers, setting levels at crossover points. Neither if these are tests that wi ever be used by 99% or people. If you want to see what's louder than something else it's great for that as long as it's not very loud. Restrictions on max readings and tones render it useless.

I lime the ability to stop and start scanning/recording noises but there does not appear to be a method to save it. I also understand advertising makes the program free for us to use - for a free app these are fairly painless - but I'd like the opportunity to pay for a license to get rid of the adds. Also, just for nice-nice - I would like a graph showing the levels of sound, when it becomes painful, etc. Otherwise it works great - and I appreciate the obvious work that went into the coding. 🤜

Checks out. As a safety professional it is handy being able to now have a camera, light meter (another app) and this sound meter app right on my phone. It is handy for quick assessment of work area, before bringing out dosimeters. Works well for quick check of machine noise or general work area. It was as accurate as my stand-alone sound level meter, just not certifiable. .

Easy to use and works well. Requires calibration for accuracy, as it was 10dB off but once you calibrate (which is easy of you can refence a good sound meter), it was within 1dB of a $15k sound meter from 50 to 85dB. Above 90dB it was a little low but still within a few dB. Ads aren't too intrusive or annoying.

Blown away, have tested this app out and I was really surprised with the results, this is an app that will not disappoint you. It just amazes me of what can be done with our phones through the tech that has been developed such as this app. Great job to the developers behind this one. I fully recommend this app as it is. I am not a professional and did not compare this app with any professional sound equipment as to true db accuracies so be aware.
