Like others gave stated, It worked great for years, until now. Now all Temps are 103.5. When I tried to calibrate it, it says that my audio settings are not balanced, but they are. Now it's useless. I have a terminally ill child, so having an accurate reading is very important. Kinsa, I would like to be contacted to correct this problem.

This does not work it tells me he is 115. F... I do not recommend this brand or app. It would have been great if it worked since my son is going through chemo.. but Oh well wishful thinking.. don't waste your money or time on this... worse is that I can't even return it...

Pretty neat, but missing simple intuitive features. The quality of the thermometer is A+. But the app is missing some basic features. For example, when there's an error reading, there's no "retry" button or anything like that. But my biggest complaint is that it doesn't have a way to sync or even share profiles and/or activities between devices. I really don't see how this was missed. Hopefully they fix this.

We've had the Smart Stick for 23 months. It worked fine initially, but haven't needed to use it until today, when I became ill. I tried to use it to take my temp, I discovered the product now longer supports my Galaxy S8. I had it set to update automatically, and the last update was November 7. Why would the app be updated to a phone it now longer supports? Doesn't seem right!

We have the in ear thermometer to go with this app. In general we like the thermometer, though sometimes the readings can be all over the place. Normally it's fairly accurate. My issues lie in the app. I'm not able to add additional family members. I've tried before and after updates, and even reinstalled. I add name, DOB (which then deletes the name and I have to re enter) but clicking on save/add does nothing.

More frustrating than analog thermometer. Lately I have to power cycle the thermometer several times before it's ready to take a reading. My baby doesn't realize the whole sensor under the tongue process, and the kinsa isn't smart enough to wait through his chewing or talking. An analog thermometer doesn't stop trying like the kinsa does. Really disappointed with their algorithm. The app also requires keypresses/screen-taps to start another reading, which I have to take several of to average out the noise in the kinsa (sometimes it declares his temperature much lower than it actually is because it didn't wait long enough to stabilize). I'm sure the device hardware is fine, like most other modern problems the software is the issue.

So far works smooth with S8 or OnePlus 6T and they are always updated. I see allot of connection issues and believe you may need to adjust time settings and Bluetooth connection availability to be found. If it could be downloaded in app stores in other countries it would be more useful. My wife and I can't get her Iphone to download it. So I'll give her a US 600$ phone to keep and install Kinsa app. It doesn't need to be In foreign language but it is not available overseas.

So far so good in functionality, but there are 2 bugs in the profile set up that I have found in 10 minutes of use, I am about to be 35 years old (2 days apart) but the app shows me as 35 years old already which is not big deal but a bug after all, the other bug is when I put the year with my keyboard as 1979 and save the profile it saved 2019 instead and put my wife's age as 6 months old, I am wonder what other bugs this app is hidding and if any of these will interfer with the app readings.

I haven't needed to use my device for a while, but when I tried to do so this morning, I was greeted by an idiotic "chat" thing with a "virtual assistant" seeking personal information, and could not be skipped past. Like, are you kidding me with this?! I just want to use my medical device! That should always immediately be one of the top-level options upon opening the application, and it's unacceptable that it isn't. I'll be throwing this thing away now.

i have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the device won't work. In theory the whole thing seems cool, but I'm a little confused as to why it's not compatible with a samsung devive. Iphones and Samsung's are BY FAR the most popular phone's on the market, yet you're out of luck if you own a Samsung. This was given to us as a gift and at this point it's worthless. Hopefully "Kinsa" figures out what their issue is and has the device compatible with Android soon. Go buy a regular $10 thermometer.
