I've been using Joust for a little over a year and this new update takes the experience into a whole new realm of ease and professionalism. The new dashboard is user-friendly and easy to navigate, I love the invoice system and client list creation, and the ability to use Joust as a secure, virtual bank account is by far one of the most attractive qualities. Especially for me, since I have lots of clients that use direct deposit, Joust maintains my privacy and helps me stay prepared.
The Franchise
Unfortunately, while everything seemed to be good, in the app's chat function I got a message asking for business info including a price sheet. I'm a consultant, prices are negotiated. When I tried to log back in to submit the other stuff, it says I'm locked out. So they ask for things but don't give you a chance to submit what they asked for. Seems fickle and petty.

The Joust Business App is loaded with useful features: transaction summary, an invoicing function, online statements, setting card pin, setting card status, and connecting to external bank accounts. The app also tells you when a deposit or transfer will become available as part of the available balance in your Joust account. Their is a hold time to insure that nothing gets returned. Overall, a pretty good app.

Absolutely frustrating flaw in just signing up using your phone. Starts with the SMS Verification. When you click away to get the SMS verification number then go back to the app it restarts the process and ask you to enter your phone number again to get an SMS. I had to set up a google voice to get the sms number. The it says my personal address is not correct. When i am 100% my personal address is correct.

Terrible app. I get all the way to the end of application process and it asks for a pic of me and a copy of driver's license. When I go to take pic app crashes Everytime. So frustrating.

Great personal customer service, they help you on a personal level rather then reading from a script. It took me numerous "online banking" apps to test, and I think I finally found the right one!

at first it was super easy to log into the account which I had made several deposits from my original bank account that I was using for myunfortunately they have suspended my account now I have been requesting for 4 weeks almost daily for a password reset link to be sent by their app and communication through email and they've now suspended my account and I have no access to my money and they're never have sent me a link to reset my password I would not recommend using them I am highly angry at

Was so ecstatic when I saw this service in my House of Gigs app. Finally a bank that meets my needs. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it past terms and conditions without the app closing.
