App doesn't work, seems to take me from the UK to ZA and won't let me log in :-( Follow up: Must be a mobile phone setting but seems impossible to resolve and install the UK Gumtree App (I'll go elsewhere) - Thanks for your reply.

Gumtree SA app seems to be lagging alot. Takes forever to load a page. (I do have fibre wifi and for example. YouTube loads up very fast with good quality) I'm using a note 9 and my app is up to date. I've also uninstalled the app and installed it again, but the problem persists. Please help and/or check your app for any problems. Thank you.

Customer support has not been helpful. About a month ago I rect an email stating I registered for an acoount, I never signed up for an account. I emailed support to remove my email address from registration. Now, Ive recently received a second registration email! Ive explicitly asked them to renove my email address for usage on their website but that was not honored in my last request.

Only let's me be in South Africa and not any other location. It says it detects my location and instead of putting me in the US it only puts me in South Africa. The UI is awful as well.

Great app but there are few features that they can add on. * option to select multiple locations at the same time * option to select based on distance * option to select multiple categories ... so I want to see all the items under sports, bed, home furniture within 5 kms from my home. This is not possible rigtnow and we have to do multiple searches for the same.

I love Gumtree, and have been a member since about 2009. I am very disappointed, though, that due to a 3 month temp job in 2019, where I was advertising industrial catering equipment, Gumtree has messed up my login, in that I can no longer go in directly through my e-mail address and password. I was called Sunshine Sue on Gumtree, before this happened. Now, the only way I can get into Gumtree, is through my Facebook profile. And I don't necessarily want everyone on Gumtree to know my surname.

I'm starting to have a problem posting or selling stuff on gumtree because people dont see my product. I posted somethings it was only viewed by 1 person and it even says visit which is more confusing. I'm starting to think it would be best posting my things on Facebook and olx because they give me better results. Please improve this because now I'm forced to pay for promotion for very small product. Which I find ridiculous , please fix this or something
