Great job hunting app. Easy to save jobs you're interested in with a simple click of the "SAVE" button. Now they even have given you the ability to save in a folder you create. Very nice for organizational purposes. I also like the feature where previous and current employees cab rate their experience with the company. Definitely my favorite app out of all the ones out there ie. Dice, Zip Recruiter, Careerbuilder, Indeed and even LinkedIn. 😁👍

  2. Larry Cowsert-avatar

The app is quite robust ... and very customizable for your job searches. Easy to navigate. However, I gave it only three stars because: as a "seasoned" job seeker, I find it disconcerting that employment and education fields MUST contain start and finish dates! This gives hiring managers an immediate heads-up that the applicant is over X age! Bad juju, Glassdoor!

Glassdoor has allowed me to search for jobs that are definitive to my needs. The application is easy to navigate while providing a wide range of information to distinguish and enhance the recruitment process. The designed platform has been a great tool in my past and present experience. Highly recommended.

Horrible App! It can't seem to import resume correctly! All the information from the second page of my resume is added to the work experience fields (not correct info). I would have to edit and retype EVERYTHING in to each field! No way, who has time for that. Can't add a profile pic either... Just acts like it's loading in but doesn't. Please fix your app!

This app has so much potential which it has been failing to reach. It's biggest problem so far is instability of features. Also the UI seems to have a mind of its own and does random things like scrolling to bottom of a page for no reason.

  6. John Heng-avatar

Useless App that steal others information! When I click on one of the job, it direct me to Monster job or whatever heck. Come on, when you don't have the job, don't direct user here and there. Ashame of you copied exactly the position title whereby it is created by me myself. I doubt it is a scam Apps that steal personal info. BEWARE!!!

  7. Scott Allen-avatar

Although I receive multiple emails a day from this app saying I have NEW matches, nothing ever shows up as a new post, only jobs that are 30+ days old. I secind another comment about experiencing errors while trying to import a resume. I have better luck with the web portal.

  8. dennis chang-avatar

Most everything on the app works fine. But the job alerts sends notifications to my phone that there are new jobs for "X" job alert and I click on it and the job alert list page shows "x" number of new jobs and I click on that and it says no jobs found in the "new" tab. Please fix.

Streamlined by its simple design, ease of access, and able to expand details for the corresponding results. Convient to save and refer back the information. Able to notify of any relatable updates and new careers that come up on Glassdoor based on user preference of area and/or field interests.

  10. Sierra Matheso-avatar

This app could be really good, but it has taken one job I held and only sends me notifications for similar positions. I am trying to change careers, so the notification are useless. I have updated my new certifications, education, and type or career I am pursuing. Yet, nothing works.

  11. Vicky Goplani-avatar

It's a neat app with a lot of information about companies, jobs and salaries. Please add more filters in job search such as years of experience, roles, designations.

  12. Dave Beck-avatar

Unable to upload CV, and when putting information in the windows are blank so have to guess what information is required. Editors choice, they should check out the app before recommending

  13. Fallon Binns-avatar

Currently, the opening screen to make an account does not work. The registration buttons don't respond. Can't use any other features at this point.

  14. Austin Cline-avatar

I love glassdoor but this app is terrible. The search functions dont work half the time and what I click it opens random pages or starts uploading something from my photo gallery. Great website, broken app.

Even after carefully selecting your preferences I'm still getting job alerts for completely different types of jobs, and what is more frustrating is that you can't even seem to choose the location. Waste of time.

  16. Jason Zajdel-avatar

Cannot sign in, "Password should be at least 6 characters long" - yeah it is. Login button is greyed out.

  17. Nicolas Monkam-avatar

Great app! Show job offer in real time, and much more give information on salaries, and much more gives the possibility to compare

  18. Parv Kaur-avatar

I am not able to even log in let alone to apply to jobs. I dont know why even when I am clicking on the portal to login there is no response.

  19. James Pollard-avatar

This as become a very good app for jobs very useful finding them.only problem is it keeps coming up with notification that jobs are in my area to apply for but when I check they are upto 100 miles away or the page is blank ?

  20. Mark Kirby-avatar

Has the potential to be a really great product however, my experience has not been positive. I've used it off and on for a few years on 3 different phones - Galaxy Nexus, A5, and S9 and the app performance Is same on all of them. Very slow opening, regularly freezes so hard when browsing jobs that I cannot even use the back button to get out, I have to close out of the app and log in again. Extremely frustrating to the point where I actually don't use it much.

  21. Andrew Travis-avatar

This app is so easy to use, and very helpful.. much better than indeed, monster or zipp. When I applied for a job, they opened an instant messenger and the lady, "Olivia" asked me a hand full of questions, (maybe 5 questions) than set up a 30 minute in person interview at the place I applied at for less than a week away. I've never had such an easy, pleasant experience applying for a job since all apps were paper and in person. I highly recommend this app!

  22. anjali singh-avatar

It's a very helpful app. Reviews put in here by candidates and the interview experience have helped me a lot in my interviews. Thanks Glassdoor :)

Like the standalone app. If stay signed into app, very easy to look at possible positions directly from notifications on the phone.

  24. Lana Edwards-avatar

This app is awesome! Easy to use and it let's you save into categories jobs you are interested in coming back to later. By far the best one I have used so far.

  25. L G-avatar

Constantly says that there are new jobs available under previously saved searches, yet when I click on it there are no new jobs available. Really annoying.

  26. John Williams-avatar

I love this app! It is well organized and designed do a person can dial in on a specific type of job.

  27. Alvi Mahmud-avatar

Used this app to search jobs and look for interview questions and salaries, used to be reliable. Now it freezes, every time, regardless of what I try. Sub-zero has nothing on this. I don't know what happened to the app, but I have updated the app a couple of times and nothing changed. Sad.

  28. Max Zakh-avatar

When signing in the app asks for your current role, there is an input field and no submit button... kind of a big oversight

  29. Vishal Shah-avatar

Good app. Just one issue, I am not able to view salaries for any company. I have uploaded a review as well but still not able to view.

  30. Vijay Shah-avatar

Great app, allows to view company profile and reviews. Easy to use. Jobs section need some improvement otherwise great app.

  31. Leo Ricard-avatar

I appreciate the fact that Glassdoor gives you all the information. That you might need to either apply for a company. Or information that rates the company so you can make an informed decision whether it is to company for you. Thank you for this app. And the recommendations that it gives to companies.

  32. Lora Lee-avatar

This app has not found anything in my area, yet notifies me, with notifications off, all day long, that it "has found no jobs in my area." Very frustrating. Also excessive emailing for no purpose whatsoever, other than to serve as a reminder that I need to uninstall this app. I highly recommend fixing this issue. If it was actually finding work, it would definitely be a different review. :) It should not be constantly notifying me that there are no jobs in my area.

  33. Elaine C-avatar

I get notifications, and the app doesn't launch when I click on them even though it's up to date. Also I get notifications saying there are new jobs for one of my saved searches , but when I try to look at the postings, the app says there's no new jobs. Why send me the notification in the first place? So annoying! I'll give it another week or two and then delete the app from my phone and stick with LinkedIn.

  34. Shijo Pv-avatar

Buggy app. Filters in salary section not working. Even if I'm using the app in India they will show salaries in Euro. Not all things in the website is available in the app (ex. interview difficulty rating).

  35. Kayla Ross-avatar

Downloaded the app today and I can't even sign in. No matter how many times I press to continue with my email it does nothing..

  36. Sue Perron-avatar

Love this app. It gives me so much information. A couple of suggestions. Add the benefits tab (that's currently only available on your website) to the app. When I'm researching a company, it's important to know that information also. Separate food service jobs from regular retail jobs. The qualifications for each are not the same, and candidates for one are usually not looking for the other.

  37. Patty Friedmann-avatar

Easy to navigate and manage. Has informative job and professional profile descriptions.

  38. Sean Piercy-avatar

'Import Resume' button doesn't work. Also, when logging in, if you choose one Google account and it's not the one you want you can't easily look-out and back in to a different account. I've seen this issue with several other apps already and it's extremely annoying. Users shouldn't have to clear their app data or reinstall the app just to log-in using a different account... The 5mb resume file size limitation is bogus as well. My 14 page resume/portfolio is nearly 10mb, with no way to reduce it.

I have a problem with the 'Saved jobs' section. Usually I look a job opportunity and save to apply later. When I go into the saved jobs I'm unable to look my entire list. Even though it has an option to scroll to adjacent pages, it wouldn't work. It's been so hard for me to apply jobs without being able to access this section of the app.

It's sad leaving a 2 stars review. But this is mainly for the Android application and not what Glassdoor offers. I used to be an iPhone user thus using the iOS version of the app and I was enjoying it the most. The Android version lacks the benefits section/tab of every company you are checking out which is a very critical factor when choosing / applying to a company. Please consider fixing this or at least make it at par to the iOS version so people can start using this app again.

  41. Liz Gallego-avatar

I like it since they are always updating you and giving suggestions on resumes for free. the reviewing part of the company helps for when it's a scam people tend to comment on it.

  42. Jui Jong Pang-avatar

Fantastic app and direct to the job that looking for. Able to create folders for different job profile.

  43. Ty Whalin-avatar

Very easy to use. Only a few updates needed after a resume import. Not sure why it downloads a resume to your device when wanting to view a resume posted on the app. It decreases available disk storage on the device and creates multiple copies of the resumes. Overall, not a bad design. Very useful app for finding employment opportunities.

This app is like a dashboard to everything in my job hunting voyage bundled into one. It goes from customizable job search criteria, to asking a few qualifications & credential questions, to actually matching me with an overwhelming list of jobs I'm qualified for, and recommended jobs I had no prior idea existed for my qualifications, and to actually providing me with direct employers contacts & application tools on a daily basis if feels like my personal job genie has finally arrived..! Yay!

  48. Kamil Eladas-avatar

Simple UI/ flow, easy to add comments but can be a pain to edit, #1 tool for company reviews in my book

I have not had the opportunity to use this App very often, but so far I like it very much, and I like the jobs that are posted on this App; they are more unusual and more interesting than so many I have seen. Maybe this App will bring me luck! I also really, really like the name, patterned after "The Glass Ceiling" I assume - but more welcoming to walk through a door than pound on a ceiling! Thank you!

  51. E P-avatar

F* hell. 80% of the ads here are old, reposts of reposts, and you almost always have to go to a third party site to apply. In two days I've created 100 accounts on different company sites that ask too much. It's like you have to shave and polish your a* in order to get a job. In short, if you want snobbery, condescension, and the frustration of going absolutely nowhere because there's no "one to one" interaction between you and the employer, this is the app for you.

  52. Tiffany-avatar

Would be perfect but A) it does not exact-search my job search title so I get notices of jobs I am not at all qualified for but they have similar titles; and B) if there was a way to filter out jobs by requirement, such as a specific degree or a security clearance so everyone stops wasting their time. It's a pretty easy tweak to make, Glassdoor. Can you set that up?

  53. Lady Erisine-avatar

A very valuable to in the job hunt! Usually very simple to use for inputting applications and your resume, and used by companies to review resumes and send offers.

  54. Robin De cock-avatar

PLEASE stop to add the current location to my search... Never helpful ! There are also a lot for search problem's

  55. Laurie E-avatar

I changed my mind, this job site needs to do more work on the notifications they send. I keep getting alerts of "New Jobs", but they aren't. Then when I do choose to view a position it keeps going back to the one I viewed days ago. You need to update this app...hire me, I can help!!! And I can't change what potential employers see. It won't let me update .

  56. R.E. Lehmann-avatar

Please inform us if anyone has gotten a job from using this service! Constant issues within their site and app of submenus and settings that don't load or refresh is frustrating. My profile picture will randomly be visible and disappear. I get random emails for jobs that are in different countries even though I have set up alerts and included every option and input data for my location. I wonder if any of the jobs that I've applied to have gotten through.

  57. Twilight Midna-avatar

I've uninstalled and installed it multiple times, I can't save a job I want to look at later. All it gives me is an error and to try again later, but it never works. Kind of an important factor if im just doing a quick search I want to go back to look at later.

  58. sokchivin sann-avatar

It's easy to use. But its filter and results are not what I want.

  59. Bug Catcher-avatar

One enhancement request would be that the reviews for a company be ordered by most recent date instead of most helpful. I always have to filter by most recent date. Defaulting to the most recent date for the review section just makes the most sense to me. Other than that, I use this app every day.

  60. Yonos Toumi-avatar

Very nice app. They just need to work on 1 thing. They need to put the salary on every job there is because there are a lot of jobs that I want to work as but I cannot because I do not know the salary and that is my only problem. But other than that, @Glassdoor you did amazing o your app😁😁👌

  61. Mansi Ajugia-avatar

This app is really helpful in finding the right job that would perfectly fit your needs. It's a hassle free app as the features make this app easily accessible and understandable without any kind of confusion.

  70. Jesse Raidiger-avatar

I use glassdoor all the time for company research and job posting alerts while i search for employment, and this app makes all of that easier and by putting it at my fingertips instead of requiring me to log on from a computer.

  71. Jordan Stevens-avatar

Way too many bugs. I try to look up salaries and it never shows any results despite the page headers showing hundreds of results. I signed in and still doesn't work. Trash built website and app. Throw the whole thing away.

  72. Ash Birch-avatar

Unable to upload a 22kb resume. Does me zero good to use this app if it cannot tell I have uploaded file online already and it won't upload from phone or Drive. Even after a reinstall, not working. How does this get fixed? No support option in app.

  73. Carol Goller-avatar

With a quick click, I am instantly connected to Glassdoor App without having to login via browser site everytime. They give you employee reviews, position per company salaries, interview questions, company ratings, and they suggest current positions as well. So much info at one place.

  74. Randall Garman-avatar

This is the best job app out there! Have used glassdoor for years on my laptop, and now on the go!!

  75. Pamela Lynch-avatar

The app is great for looking at jobs, but I can't upload my resume from Google Drive. Also, I uploaded my resume to the desktop website and the phone app keeps asking me to update my profile. I have noticed that the desktop app is also becoming more glitchy when looking at company reviews.

  76. Jacob Jones-avatar

Will keep sending you pointless unrelated emails even if you put your settings to stop. I won't use this app again. Indeed is way better.

  77. Adam Herrin-avatar

Great app! Easy to use! Easily found jobs in my area.

  78. Ram Sanath-avatar

Too many bugs. When I open like from browser, it open the mobile app which freezes. Shows there are 10 reviews for a company but when you open the review tab there are no reviews. Too many steps needed to search for a company or job. I can keep adding to this list.

  79. Kali Cosmos-avatar

Filter function rarely activates despite me having the most recent update and a phone that's 1 month old

  80. Michael Pablo-avatar

Last updates makes the app button for applying jobs unclickable. Please review the functionality. Other than that it is a deem 5 star apps!

  81. Umesh Gowda-avatar

Good app for who ever finding for job, wel customized app to use, good user interface...eazy and clear...

  82. Naomi Collins-avatar

I can't even use this because it keeps changing my current city to some place in a country I've never visited. I'm not using VPN. I tried changing via laptop, but apparently that's not an option either. Not impressed.

It would be really nice to be able to block certain 'employers' from the search, as this like every other job site is riddled with training companies posting 'vacancies' which are really training that you have to pay for. These are not jobs, but these training companies pay Glassdoor to advertise, so Glassdoor will continue to list them despite the fact their posts are not jobs and simply clog up the search results, out of 6 results initially displayed, 2 of them (33%) are basically spam.

I haven't gotten a job yet; but this app definitely shows what is relative to what you want. It keeps you on track with saved jobs, jobs you're fit for etc. I love it at my fingertips. Wish could filter quick applying jobs so I could press lie apply for al button and boom.

No confirmation button/option/ during initial sign up/in for locations and recent job title. Bad UI experience right out the gate. App deleted my website updated and loaded information. Defeated the purpose of an straight forward one stop shop for career/job search app.

Half the time it lets me know of a new job posted, when I tap on it, it comes back with an error or the site is down. It's very annoying.

This app can be really flakey when following links from the browser. It either freezes, or just opens up whatever you were looking at last time.

  93. Nick Savoie-avatar

It would be very helpful to add in filter functionality to the app, similar to how it works on the mobile version of the website - this functionality does not show up when looking at salaries within a specific company.

  94. Tony Elrod-avatar

I think your app is good, the only thing is you should have a way to show you have applied to jobs other than your process cause I have applied to jobs from other sites and I don't want to have to reapply just to show that I have already applied to the job, also you need away to delete companies from the job search cause yall keep sending me jobs from the company I just left, otherwise I think your app is pretty good and easy to navigate

Really intuitive and easy to use. One click away and you have already applied for a job. A great plus from the relevant notification about possible job matches you might like. A great app!

Great so far. Provides transparency that's sorely needed in this country. The app has worked fine since I downloaded a couple of months ago.

Most jobs do not meet the requirements that have been mentioned/Filtered, the import/upload Resume not working, says upload .pdf .doc even when choosing those formats. Using Huawei Y9 6GB RAM and still the app lags while closing. Will change the stars if fixed.
