I find this app rarely works, even the website doesn't. Links to the help centre don't work. Also when I take the assessments it asks if I want to use my old assessments without telling me how I did so naturally, I say not to. It takes me to the beginning to start a new assesment and when I click "get started" it loops me back to "do you want to use your old assessment". This website sucks as it is without all the technical issues. Now it's even worse

app After update my Indeed did not work but they fixed the bug. So it is back to one of my number one sight for jobs one recommendation if they dont have it have already. If an employer declines you or passes you over. It would be nice to have that option instead of archiving. says there is no internet connection. When I know there is one. This is only app that it is doing it on.

uk A Pain to Use. The app won't let me view other pages. I can only see the first 1 of 12. While It's nice to have so many jobs available, tons are completely irrelevant to my search and are Probably just paid ads. Also, it just isn't user friendly. Whether it's viewing assessment results or simply trying to get back to the page of listings, it's inconvenient and troublesome.

canada To auto fill an enormous information from application to the next, I'm excited this app remembers where you left off and plus allows auto fill. The features are good and user-friendly. I do not like that when we communicate with former or current employees these people respond with a cookie cutter or template to reply. They all say the same response.

india This is the only app that always give me a 503 error message. Somefimes it works awesomely, other times.... not so much. It will load a page for extended periods of time, forcing me to close the app and try again. Sometimes it works. That's the best I can say for this app. Buuuuuut, its getting me connected with jobs, so i can't complain too much.

app download Worst app ever!! It won't let me upload my CV from my phone. I've tried changing the format it won't let me. I applied for a job filled in everything and then clicked the bit to upload CV, it never worked. Kept me on the same page. This is extremely frustrating I need apply for jobs and I can't do anything without this. I am a full time carer for my partner who suffers a chronic illness. We are on Benefits and struggle to afford a Laptop so can't do anything on our phone

australia I love indeed they have been my go-to, outside of the temp service I usually go through, an recently the app has been easier an easier to navigate through I love resume is directly through them so all you have to do is click and apply for the jobs, "which is becoming more and more" that have apply with resume, fast an simple, on top of employers also can view your profile, and reach out to you, also they provide you with highly detailed information about the job, like if you need hisch/ged or no

usa With each successive update this app becomes less functional. You're supposed to be able to cross off a job and have it not show up in your future list. In actuality when I go through a whole page of jobs and then exit the last description you're reading, it takes you back to the page that you just finished and all the jobs that you just crossed off are still in your list. When taken back to the list you are viewing you must scroll to find your original position. Not professionally done!

api Love the app for the most part. Lots of jobs available. Easy to navigate. 2 things I would like to see is an option to delete my message (keep the archive just add a delete option) and the option to remove a job if the employer has already selected another candidate. Its disheartening to see the job you didnt get while trying to look for one.

dubai There are many good things going for this app....but the flaws drive me insane. It used to save the job lists you created, and now everytime I turn app on, my saved lists are gone and I have to start all over. It's maddening, as I will have to look at all jobs I have already seen. Also, I really wish the Amazon jobs had their own section. Dozens show up every day and clog my list, and they are not even the town listed at the top. It will say "Amazon Haverhill MA, and you it's not Haverhil

The app itself seems to work fine. The assessments should not be taken too seriously though. I don't believe it's possible to determine if someone is/is not a computer expert after asking only 5 non-technical based questions. The real issue is that more than half the applications I have submitted remain unviewed. Seems like posters are not utilizing the service. I know for a fact they have to pay to post, so it seems like a waste all around.

Pretty good app to be exposed to as many jobs as possible, I like that you can save/edit your CV to cut and paste for each application. Interface is easy enough, navigation is straight forward and filters are useful. IMPROVEMENTS: Firstly, there's a bug when choosing to hide a job, it sometimes appears again and when hitting the hide button it won't collapse. Secondly in the "my jobs" section there needs to be an option in "update status" to say rejected

  13. Zakov-avatar

Wont give you job results anywhere nearby where you set it to search. It goes so far even as to list jobs in different states, no matter how many times you remove jobs and give feedback stating the obvious that they aren't anywhere near your location. BUT. This is still a hundred times better than ziprecruiter, though that's not saying much.

I have seen quite a few Great jobs come through this app which is fantastic..Also, the app itself is pretty user friendly and even the least experienced users won't have any issues navigating the app. When help is needed the indeed staff are prompt when replying. Overall, wonderful seamless experience. Thanks.

The app seems to do what it says it does, but there are constant little changes to how the filter behaves and when it chooses to apply itself. Basically, this app is useless if you're trying to get into a new or adjacent field since it always prefers to show you things it THINKS are most relevant to you, but you don't have the option to turn that filter off. Similar experience when trying to search by annual salary - it seems like prospective employers are influencing Indeed to change features.

I've been looking for a job on this app almost every day for over three months now. For the last few weeks or so something has gone bad. I get a lot of jobs that just go to a BLANK WHITE SCREEN when you click on them. This also happens when going back to my profile home page sometimes. This is very annoying and I could be missing out on good jobs. I always have the newest updated app, I've cleared the app cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app etc. and it's still happening. Please fix this.

  17. Nate W-avatar

The job search capabilities are suitable. What I have a problem with us 1) sometimes the jobs posted are not actually in the location they are advertised as 2) that indeed doesn't recognize jobs and/or companies that were applied to 3) that I cannot view my tests/quizzes and they are not all visible on my resume as the site says they should be. Other than those quirks I think it is reasonable.

  18. Paul Robbins-avatar

My wife introduced me to the indeed app while I was out of work looking for a local driving job. That is honestly one of the best things she has done for me. The app is very easy to use, the jobs are exactly as described in the adds, adds placed are usually very good in responding to applications placed. I definitely recommend indeed to all job seekers. I hope this review helps you as much as it has myself and my wife. Thank you and have a great day.

Recently the ability to delete expired jobs has been removed. This was an important feature! Now I (and many others) have loads of saved jobs that are expired and NO way to remove them. The developers did not think this through! Please update the app so we have the option to delete and entirely remove an expired job posting. No one needs hundreds of "saved" jobs that have expired. Its cumbersome and annoying!

  20. Mary Robinson-avatar

    Mary Robinson

Although incredibly useful, this app is not adhd or Autism friendly. Expect tons of emails most of which are useless, expect to be completely overwhelmed, expect to be contacted by employers only through the app even if you give your phone number, and expect incredibly stupid things like online video interviews instead of a simple phone interview. Also expect tons of suggestions toward jobs you don't have the experience for. Not really many ways to find jobs these days, so, no other options.

  21. Monique G.-avatar

    Monique G.

Good content, but needs to fix bugs. I'll select jobs and the page will load blank with the indeed logo only. It's almost 50/50 that a job I want will actually pop up after selecting, not just on my android, but on my iPhone as well. Seems like it's always the best jobs that won't load.

  22. Z3RO-avatar

Everything is so much easier to access and so much faster to navigate through, there is an error however, when you reply to a message of an employer it will not appear and then when you reply a second time appears twice, dont love that about the app but very useful and easy to handle, I am literally dropping applications extremely easy

  23. Mitchell Forrest-avatar

    Mitchell Forrest

Search is a joke. No way to exclude remote work from the search. Showing jobs out of the area I search in. Showing jobs I have done said I am not interested in. What is the deal? I thought this was an app I could search for a job I want. Instead I am showed jobs I'm not interested in, out of my area or both. Edit: still shows job out of my area. Still shows jobs I've said I'm not interested in. The app makers don't care that you got to waste time looking for jobs you don't want. Useless app.

  24. Luke A-avatar

    1. I really like the 'apply with your indeed resume' feature. I've gotten two jobs just using the resume I've built on the site. 2. Its a great app for finding just about any job that's hiring, even if that means you need to go to that company's site to apply. Indeed does a good job aggregating all kinds of positions from private sector to federal government. All in all its a great first stop in the job search. Only con: The wokeness can be a bit much at times.

  25. Jeannie Scarlett-avatar

    Jeannie Scarlett

I am completely unable to download my resume to my files. I go through I make sure everything is up to date on it I press upload to files.Continuous freezing. Unable to even close app. Even when filtering the time that jobs has been posted I'm still finding one's over 30 days old. Getting to your resume can be very confusing. Overall not happy. I should have looked at the other reviews first and noticed there are no replies whatsoever from the developers to people having problems.

  26. Marlen Damm-avatar

    Marlen Damm

I keep trying to remove listings that don't match or don't match the locations and once I refresh they are back. What's the point? If I tell the app I don't wanna see them, they shouldn't pop back up a sec later. It makes the whole search absolutely frustrating

  27. Dany-avatar

Hi, finally you have been able to sort out the messages issue. At least this one is done. I'm going to give you 3 more stars if you sort out removing the jobs I skipped anytime I give feedbacks no making them to appear again. Then, the jobs am looking for should be only based in my location where I am, no too many locations am unable to go. The particular jobs should be only based to my interest not seeing advertising jobs unrelated to the ones am searching for. The jobs applied needs to remain.

  28. Samuel Burgess-avatar

Broken and useless. Every time I try to upload a resume from Google docs and then send in i alway get the same error message and can't send anything in. Evey time I try and edit the resume they have on file same issue. Its a little infuriating trying to find a job as is with COVID and now even more so with nothing on the app or website functioning at all.

  29. Jaclyn m-avatar

    Jaclyn m

Its ok, its better on desktop for some things and better on mobile for others. I can send more feedback to jobs via the app, but its frustrating when you want to go back to your job pages but you legit can't. Indeed is great, I've gotten so many jobs this way so I can't complain too much

  30. Danielle O'Brien-avatar

    Danielle O'Brien

Would provide 5 star rating however when filling out an application, you may need to look up a phone # that you don't have memorized and when you come back to the application to type it in, it refreshes for no reason after working on the extensive application for 20+ minutes and EVERYTHING IS GONE

  31. joanne hale-avatar

    joanne hale

its a great app when it works, when you put all your searches in and hit the back button it deletes everything. THIS is beyond frustrating. I had a lost of everything I was watching, and I hot the back button it deleted everything. fair warning, don't hit back, just swip it off your screen. ugh.

Great app, wonderful choice of legit real jobs, easy lay out & navigation format. Keeps everything well organized for you to keep track of. Communication with potential jobs is prompt & updated in very timely manner. Still searching for employment now & am certain that with Indeeds assistance, I'll find that perfect fit very soon. Thank you Indeed!!

  33. Elizabeth M-avatar

    Elizabeth M

What used to be a great tool now was over engineered and the user job seeker can't remove saved jobs from their jobs list. They claim you can do this by archiving but there is no option to archive, not in the app or the website. I've resorted to the just searching for jobs and creating a bookmark for myself. Cannot believe a company that can pull info from multiple sites won't let the job seekers delete expired job postings easily.

  34. Shaibaz Shaikh-avatar

    Shaibaz Shaikh

Really good app .. But have to improve more.. Lack of field!! For eg if you search in medical field it shows for doctors, nurses and pharma but in medical there is lot more divisions (technicians , ot technician, anesthesia technician) but can't find this kind of positions!!

Extreme smooth functionality, first time user and I am impressed with the layout and ease of creating my profile. This app has saved me lot's of time job searching. I love that all of the skill testing are shared with potential employers. Just love , love , love it!! Thanks 👍

  36. Greg Steiner-avatar

    Greg Steiner

Basically just a half-baked browser client running their website. Gets fetched up, buttons don't work, routinely erases previous searches, and frequent errors when using company job sites in-app. Additionally, using this site has opened me up to an array of scammers contacting me via email out of the blue with fake openings (obviously "too good to be true," file clerk position for $30/hr? Cah'mahn). Nearly every day I'm getting "scam spam." Pretty dangerous if you don't stay on your toes.

  37. Mistah Ken-avatar

I like to be able to search jobs at a finger tip. Allows easy access and update to resume. And even allows you to download and print as a PDF. And it's all FREE. Very glad to see that the people's job at Indeed is to make it easy for us to find a job that suits our career choice.

  38. Billy Ray-avatar

    Billy Ray

Excellent app. Very efficient and effective. However I do have a suggestion which is adding some type of "match the city bus schedule" or something like that and tag to jobs that do match schedules to bus routes. This would be a great feature. Other than that the app s great

  39. Shannon Spencer-avatar

    Shannon Spencer

It should be a way to weed out the unwanted emails from the fields you are not interested in. Like if you aren't interested in pediatric home health or nursing homes, then you should be able to keep those employers from even finding my resume and then indeed constantly reminding me of their interest. Kind of annoying.

  40. Cooper Taylor-avatar

    Cooper Taylor

Relatively well designed and intuitive interface, but very little instruction on how to use it. My tip is to click through all the menus to familiarize yourself with all of the app's functions before you even start applying.

  41. Bella Luna-avatar

    Bella Luna

Good app but full of scammers. It's essy to navigate but recently it won't save sesrches like in the past and I can't archieve a job I didn't get selected for. Also, some assessment tests are inaccurate with the skills for a certain position. You can't retake them after improving either. It needs to be fixed.

  42. Joey Foor-avatar

    Joey Foor

Overall.. it is good, usable, and useful. Would be nice if anytime you manually go to change your phone number. That it would offer to autosave the phone number or save it as a quick select. I need to remember to change it one day.

  43. Aran Herberich-avatar

    Aran Herberich

Okay. So this app is great for getting you a job which is why Inshould rate it 5 stars. However, the only problem I've had with it is that sometimes the search results are completely irrelevant. Other than that this app works great.

Use this app all the time. I have for years but recently, the past month when I click on a job ad its just blank. I am not able to see the ad. Most ads are like this, some are ok. Fix the glitch.

The app just keeps loading and loading but unable to open. Just Like the porn sites. I tried the website there also same case. So, tried it again with vpn connected then finally it was working on both app and site. my current location and country is india. Indeed developers guys you really should fix this problem. We are looking for job here not for porn or something.

Every time I want a new job or experience like I love to call it . Indeed has always come thru for me . It's easy it's always asking u to update ur resume so ur on top of ur game ... I get calls all the time if I want to work here or over there . I love indeed . It's a must have app

  47. matthewlagrange3000-avatar

Terrible. Screens resumes based in their algorithm, which is faulty. I've filled out a resume to the best of my ability, and I still get messages that I don't meet the employer's needs (i.e. No associates degree, when I have a master's). They filter and disregard resumes they don't like, meaning the employer never sees them. Trash.

  48. Orlando Pedroza-avatar

    Orlando Pedroza

The app isn't too terrible I have landed jobs from here in the past but for the most part they themselves don't really match you with jobs you even meet qualifications for. It's best to just search for yourself by zip code or actual job title even company name if available. Having the resume on file helps for the most part to apply. Some companies are dumb enough to still redirect you to fill out an application on their website which makes no sense since im sure they cam see the one on indeed.

  49. Angelica Wright-avatar

    Angelica Wright

Absolutely love this app! 100% recommend to anyone having a hard time on their own finding a job. It literally puts jobs in your lap. There should be no excuse like "there's no jobs out there" when you are using this app you don't ever have to worry about that.

  50. Alyssa Chavez-avatar

Has been my go to app over the last 5 years every time I have been in need of a job. Conveniently set up making it easy and simple to create a resume and apply to multiple jobs with that resume. I can usually find a job in a week or two, indeed makes it a much easier process.

  51. TheEnd-avatar

Taking assignments for jobs I applied for. The problem is the app freezes half way through the 20 minutes assessments, twice. My job application won't be considered unless I complete the online assessment/questionnaire, but I can complete if the app freezes up. Waste of time

  52. Paul Alvarez-avatar

    Paul Alvarez

Needs more work it still has a lot of glitches, it doesn't let delete older applications like it did before. I can't delete the ones that say not Interested. Asking the same question is this useful.

  53. Lalithe Wickramarathne-avatar

    Lalithe Wickramarathne

Everything is perfect except the test you are giving in. Youll forcly send recorded results to the employer. It should not be like that. If there is a test it should be fresh at every time according to the needs.

  54. Chitexan Mosley-avatar

So like everyone else this was a useful app, but since the up date it will give me a list of jobs, however when I go to apply I get a wrong page error or just a blank page. Before that, found my last 4 jobs on here, this is the time you want your job finder app working.

  55. Brian Brigman-avatar

  56. Grant Abraham-avatar

The UI is barely more than a wrapper for the website, but it doesn't do that well. There are bugs and navigation is poor. It's better to just use Indeed in a normal web browser.

What is the purpose to create an account and upload a CV , when the app itself is faulty and I can't apply to job ? Please fix this app ASAP as it is useless at the moment, i keep pressing APPLY button and nothing happens. Same if you go on the website

It's a really good app to have, but most of the time the companies don't even get back to you. I don't know if it's the company not paying attention to the indeed applications or if the applications are even getting to the company. Just my thought.

I truly feel Indeed is easy to use and I love getting notifications from similar job searches. I can count on having very quick responses from employers after I have submitted applications. Note: I am speaking from my own personal experience.

The app constantly erases my saved jobs and I gotta keep resigning in every single time. Great app because of the convenience, however, something needs to be done about the app erasing a person's information.

  64. Michael Ross-avatar

I did give it a 5 but now back down to 2. The app used to save my searches now everytime I go back all my searches are gone. It's annoying having to type in the main places I look for a job each time.

  65. Brandee Barrera-avatar

very little experienced architects job in Puerto Rico required one year of experience with requirement in registration of architecture and those two things do not make sense together it takes over 5 years to become registered as an architect so if you were to be registered as an architect you would have over 5 years in the field doing construction documentation or construction management but that wasn't part of their requirement they just wanted someone with one year of experience with CAD

I have been applying for jobs through Indeed for years, I still haven't been able to secure a position. Now they have this self marketing tool of assessments you can take to show your capabilities. It's too cumbersome and time consuming with applying for many positions and many times the multiple choice answers provided are not even the way I would handle a situation. Get rid of the assessments.

  85. nasoj21-avatar

Lots of job postings, but it is extremely frustrating going through a list 1000s of adds long and seeing the same things 10s of times. Probably could a actually get through the list if every listing wasn't repeated over and over.

Frustrating. I keep deleting jobs and they show the next time I log in. Even though I check a box telling why I deleted the job(s). I now have to sign in every stinking time I go I to indeed. Many businesses say urgently hiring. I have a couple over 45 days since I applied. I will relocate to a job I apply to. Spent 3 days updating my resume, and when I uploaded it in PDF form, everything was scrambled. Job titles missing, business names on the wrong job descriptions, education not detailed. You spend an inordinate amount of time setting up your profile, tweaking and detailing it to perfection, just to be redirected to a corporate website when you click apply. Now the corporate website wants you to create a login, username, password. But wait, there's more! Now the corporate website asks you to create a profile, and then you will be able to apply for the job. You do it, but you aren't directed to the job, you have to search for it and find it all over again. Eliminate redirect!!!!!

An almost perfect job finder/resume builder with a few minor flaws here and there. There is really no need to create a new seperate resume on computers anymore with the tools available on here. It even gives you tips on how to attract employers or employees, and it has several different resume templates to choose from. Job hunting is never easy and you still have to put in the work, but Indeed makes it easier on you.

This app always screws up. I've had to uninstall it and reinstall it. When looking at jobs the home button disappears. My job searches disappear daily and the app is getting to be a pain. If I'm looking at a specific job search I can not go back to the home page. The home button is gone and my back button refreshes the page. I used to like indeed, but their app makes it almost impossible to find new leads. For one they don't verify every employer, so a lot of job postings turn out to be scams; before you apply make sure the jobs are legit. Their are way too many assessments, and they have multiple assessment for the same skill, which seems so redundant and a waste of time. I think there messaging system lags as well.

  134. Dustin Clark-avatar

Good source for work and I really like the tests. There doesn't seem to be any system for accounting for and adjusting the jobs in your feed based off of your "liking" or "disliking" feedback. I always get jobs in fields or locations that I dislike (e.g "United States", instead of the city I'm in). Or military recruiting posts listed as my city but obviously aren't for my city. I shouldn't have to go out of my was to do a special search excluding these, especially since you can't on mobile.

Also I can see how many employers use indeed because I have had several excellent companies contact me, showing interest in my profile. I actually got hired through a great company this way. Too easy to accidentally hit the subscribe for notifications button at the bottom of the page, then you gotta mess around in the settings to turn it off. Like the app, but frustrated because filters don't stay adjusted . For instance if I put a 10 mile radius, it always goes back to 25 miles.
