This site is great! I love how I can see and find jobs from all over in the comfort of my home, or in the waiting room, or in the car waiting for my wife! I like how my resume and cover letter are saved for ease of applying! One critique is that I wish the searches would show everything and not just the one area that I have been searching for. Overall a great tool!

north carolina Pretty easy & convenient to use! I have just one problem, though: I dunno why this is, but I've recently discovered that as long as I have an external resume uploaded alongside my Indeed resume, and I try viewing my Profile (via both the Indeed app AND web browser), the freakin' page WON'T STOP RELOADING EVERY 3 SECONDS. Only ceases when I delete my external resume, and I don't wanna go through that again. Please fix. Other than that, like I said, simple & easy to use, good design & navigation.

job listings Best, lots of options in advanced search to find appropriate positions, lots of info on the employer, which I find VERY useful because of all the fraud. Only complaint is the Excel skills test. I've taken it 2 or 3 times & every time I've scored terribly in reality I'm just below a power user. I build complex formulas, link info between sheets and tabs, create formulas, use macros, but b/c there are multiple ways to get to the same place have failed, it shouldn't be multiple choice.

app I have used Indeed for a number of years and find it to be a valuable tool when looking for employment. The program is very simple to navigate. It allows for easy updates to my resume, cover letters and the ability to apply for many jobs instantly. Indeed also allows you to manage your searches. You you want to narrow the search by a city, job field you simply type in your preferences. I have an extensive list of skills anf certifications, Indeed allows me to keep tract of these as well.

login Great app for the job search. It could however use a little work limiting un-necessary job alerts based on individuals profile. You will receive a lot of notifications and most are not what your either looking for or well out of transportation desires. With that said there are ways to limit your notifications and your job alerts also. Great app and hopefully you DONT need it!! Lol

api Been using Indeed for a few years now whenever I'm browsing work. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to find a position when 90% of the job postings are advertised listings for UPS/Amazon or jobs paying LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE. No matter what you do (even by submitting feedback) they'll be there over and over. No way to tailor the jobs that come up, it's all PAID LISTINGS for garbage jobs nobody wants. Don't waste your time, try a different job source.

  7. Samantha Rogers-avatar

reviews The last update messed up this app. When you click on a job, it goes to a blank screen and when you click the back button it takes you back to the beginning of the list. When you try to sort the jobs, none of the filters work. Tried to search for posting in the last 14 days and it's showing me postings from 30+ days ago. Tried to ordered them by date, not relevance and that doesn't work either.

ct I absolutely love indeed it has found me several jobs. It's easy, it's convenient, it's user friendly and I highly recommend it all the time. And within the out there are so many other things that this app helps you with as far as making a resume or researching jobs or schools. It just has an abundance of good information. I just love indeed.

  9. Andrew Ackerly-avatar

    Andrew Ackerly

nyc Quick and easy to use however I wonder what the search parameters are. I want to work close to home however selecting my own suburb or 25km radius delivers results up to 1.5 hours drive away (approx @ peak) and maps indicate 40+ km travel... Tighten it up and you'll have a good app, if left as is I'm unconvinced as to effectiveness.

  10. camille atkins-avatar

    camille atkins

michigan I love indeed. I use it almost exclusively for job hunting. Its not perfect, but I don't have really have any complaints. I get leads sent by email based on my searches and I have gotten a few jobs from using Indeed. I think the app is intended to help make searching and easy applications simple but you may want to use the full site when creating/updating resumes and coverletters. This way its formatted more clearly and you can download a copy (fyi this can be done on your device too).

  11. Darby LaMarsh-avatar

    Darby LaMarsh

While it is the most comprehensive app for jobhunting in my area, it has a few cumbersome qualities. I have lost a few coverletters to some sort of app refresh in the process of my wirting. I have taken to writing my coverletters in google docs, the copy and paste to fill the area provided. In addition, some employers ask for additional multiple choice assessments. To save time, I can reuse previous assessments, but have no indication of my results. I can't tell if they are ingenius or folly.

  12. Audrey Higgins-avatar

    Audrey Higgins

Simple interface that could be simpler. Navigation is sometimes troublesome because it'll back you out of the app instead of going back if you use the arrow. It doesn't save default interview questions across employer applications, some of which are default and could be saved. Their assessments are about average.

  13. ILARY NICOLAS-avatar

Indeed is pretty convenient and helpful when you're trying to find a job, not just in your state, but anywhere in the U.S. I also like the fact that you can download your indeed resume because the formatting is looks nice and professional. One if the inconveniences I don't like is not being able to retake assessments for 6 months. If you don't like your score you're stuck with it until the 6 months are over and employers can see what you were rated.

  14. Dawna Riggins-avatar

    Dawna Riggins

Annoying is one word to sum up this app. The assessments that you have to take don't reflect any skills that would be useful for a job you're applying for. Also, you literally get no feedback about how you did on any of their assessments. Not an exact score. No help in understanding why you got the score you did. Not to mention if you take one you can never retake it. At least allow a couple of attempts to truly prove yourself. It then ends up reflecting poorly on you to a potential employer.

  15. C.B. Martin-avatar

    C.B. Martin

A few things: 1. Night mode would be nice. 2. After clicking on a job and then going back to the main listings, all the jobs I disliked are there again and I have to scroll to find where Ieft off. 3. The option to stop seeing particular companies would be helpful (I don't want to work for Doordash, but the first 3 listings of every page are Doordash).

  16. Dawn Owen-avatar

    Dawn Owen

I used to like indeed but lately it's been lousy. I'm having issues trying to update my profile and resume. Contacted customer support . No reply. Also the suggestions are down right stupid. Not in my area or matching criteria or within my salary range. It's frustrating enough searching for a job. I don't need a search engine to frustrate me more.

  17. Angel Sanchez-avatar

    Angel Sanchez

Legitimately awful experience. It's incredibly buggy and unresponsive as well as confusing to navigate at times mainly because when you input information it just simply doesn't save sometimes. If you want to replace a resume or delete one and add a different one you can't. If you delete your personal resume nowhere on the app or site can you find where to upload a new one. Perhaps it's just a problem with my phone but it's extremely aggravating and unhelpful.

  18. David Lomax-avatar

    David Lomax

This app goes way above and beyond. Putting your resume out there to employers even when your not looking to give you new opportunities. Offering tests to prove your skills and knowledge and of course making it easy to apply. I love this thing! It's a job seekers best friend!

  19. J Langevin-avatar

    J Langevin

I really love ths app indeed since I've downloaded it I've had more hiring jobs contact me through Indeed and I think that's a huge plus, because I remember a while ago I'd fill out app. Then a week sometimes two weeks would go by and expecting a company name in my email and sometimes yes the company name would appear, though more times than not I'd get a persons name with no mention of company's name, just the person responding to your app. Is it junk? is it spam? With Indeed you know!!

  20. Michael Behan-avatar

    Michael Behan

The app itself is not good for job seekers. I did a search once for jobs in a city far away for a friend and now the feed only shows me jobs in that city regardless of how many searches I've done in my city. There are no options to change it either. You're better off using a PC and browser. Also, you can follow a company but you can't unfollow. Be careful.

My problem with indeed is the assessment tests and phone call interviews are a bit strange and kind of annoying when applying. Also job ads they post after you apply that are completely unrelated and useless. If I'm already applying with a resume or even going to a third party sight to apply I shouldn't have to take more time with the assessments. I also notice some of the jobs have problems with being honest on what your going to do, wish their was a to fix that issue.

  22. Jessica Owens-avatar

    Jessica Owens

They make sure you get every message for interviews and they even send you suggestions of jobs you may be interested in. I have never had to leave my house for hunting for a job application I add my resume and I don't have to do nothing but hit apply answer very few questions no more than three to five and wait for them to send me an email for an interview. I love indeed It so much easier looking for a job.

  23. Tiffany Turner-avatar

    Tiffany Turner

I love the app, the resume it helps you build and share are great if you don't know how to create a resume. I would love to be able to have the setting option to put info in for jobs you don't want, want to see. I think being able to set things like your lowest starting pay to even consider, an option like "do not show me CDL jobs" "no nurse positions" world be amazing and set the site above others. It asks you about turning down or hiding a job, but the vet next time it shows you again

  24. Aaron Dobson-avatar

    Aaron Dobson

The app works great and is easy to use for the most part, but 2 stars deducted because having to write a review to view all reviews is an unbelievably terrible concept and makes no sense whatsoever. Also, the search function brings up lots of jobs outside of the city you're searching.

  25. Gabriella Maya-avatar

    Gabriella Maya

I loved using it for job searches and applying but I've been applying for jobs since before the pandemic. It has good user interface, nice and organized also easy to use. However sometimes I get jobs that I'm severely underqualified for or are slightly different subclass of fields. A feature that is helpful is that it saves previous searches just in case you want to go back to it

  26. Justin Hill-avatar

    Justin Hill

I really wish I could give this a 3.5. since so many employers use this it's worth more than three because I've gotten several jobs through it. but it's definitely not a four or five because the app is absolute garbage. It's slightly better than it used to be, but there's still a bunch of flaws in the searching of jobs. It keeps showing me stuff from several counties around me when I specifically put in this city or zip code.

  27. Greg LS-avatar

Good app. Noticed I'm getting a lot more action from employers recently. Follow up/status updates are even better than previous, which was good before. Update/ 8/2920=After normally being flooded with "available opptys" only handfull in the last week or two. Im probably on site for a few minutes at least daily. 1/27/21-Seems action has picked up again from employers. Relevants Ive applied to and others seeking me. I noticed there's an option too join "hiring events." I'll stay at 4 stars for now

  28. Lea Foster-avatar

If your looking for a career or job, indeed is the place to begin your search. After uploading my resume, and applying to jobs, i was hired within one week. I was offered the position from each interview i have went on so far. Thanks indeed! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for employment. Wrote this last year and still feel the same! Thanks Indeed

  29. Maleka McGee-avatar

Highly effective, an amazing job searching tool, not a networking site (LinkedIn). Love the updates and reports i receive such as: how many job searches I made for any one week; notification when my resume was submitted; when the employer reviewed my app; how many applicants have already applied; advise if employer is responsive and if actively recruiting AND the ability to email the recruiter/hiring manager to check on app status...Absolutely love this app excellent tool for job seekers!

  30. W Z-avatar

Could use some improvement. For example when you apply for a job and want to go back to your searches, it would be nice if it brought you back there. Instead it brings you back to job feed searches and not your custom search.

Good, quick way to apply for local jobs. After creating/uploading your resume, you can use "quick apply" & apply for jobs with only a few clicks. A lot of employers seem to use this service. I just got a job about 2 weeks after using service again! Thanks indeed!

Worst app... I am totaly hopless and disappoint...Taking too much time to get open. Second thing why indeed is not working through gmail?? I've never received any response from employer on indeed but still i kept using indeed through gmail account but nOw indeed has become a headache for me whenever i upload my C.V it shows error. Bcz of this issue i've missed alot of jobs and i am not able to apply on any jOb why its getting terrible? And this app is nOt getting open also, wish 2 give half star

  33. Mike Ransburg-avatar

    Mike Ransburg

This app and service is useless. Constantly sends you jobs outside your search criteria as well any availavilty to transit, time, distance or location. The apps generator will also send you many jobs you've denied or passed on. It's incredibly annoying and a waste of time, when you could just randomly throw your resume at any website you type in. Also should update search so those of us who don't or can't get a drivers license can find jobs that don't require them.

  34. AC Blaze-avatar

    AC Blaze

If the app will actually open for me in less than 15 minutes I'll edit my rating back to 3 stars. When the app works it's really good... Except for cities hours-days away from you being recommended a lot... Oh, also, you can't read reviews without leaving a review. Even if you've never worked there... Oh yeah! Also the app is extremely glitchy and looks like minimal effort has been put into it.

  35. William Urban-avatar

    William Urban

The app is extremely useful. Except when a message does not require a response, I continually get e-mails and notifications asking me to respond. It would be better if the app saved filters you selected .

  36. Lisa Beck-avatar

    Lisa Beck

I have is I experienced multiple scams involving remote work. Maybe Indeed can flag certain words, pay rate, or an extremely vague job description, that will keep the position from posting. Requirements such as being bilingual and living in a specific area should be stated at the very beginning. Nothing is more frustrating than getting excited about a position, reading the entire ad (which at times are VERY long winded) and at the very end told you must be bilingual or live in a certain city.

  37. Michael Bingham-avatar

    Michael Bingham

It's a good app for finding work. The search criteria for location could use some work. I frequently search for jobs in my city and my city only, yet I am constantly ignoring job alerts for employment in cities NEAR my city. Rather annoying. 3 Stars

  38. Anna-avatar

In the app there is no option to "use last cover letter" but on the website there is. Please add that feature to the app! It would make things a lot easier and more consistent. If it was there I would rate it 4 stars but it is so inconvenient without it.

  39. Amanda Field-avatar

    Amanda Field

For whatet reason it will not update my name. It is very unprofessional when I apply for jobs and they ask me what my correct last name is because the name on the application that come through and the name on my resume don't match. I already updated it... Also the saved searches do not save. So many things are wrong with the app.

  40. Patrick Wade-avatar

    Patrick Wade

The only thing is the key words in search still list other choices. Like key word a specific city and still gives me another city nearby also. Small problem but still love the app just wish the profile was more acceptable to all employers instead of insisting on resume.

  41. sh pe-avatar

    sh pe

Indeed was once a wonderful app and still has the ability to be just that. Some of the jobs that are posted seem to post improper grammar/misspelled vocabulary which comes across as unprofessional in my opinion and also makes me question if they are spam or not. What I do love about Indeed is the fact that it is not just a job board that lists employers that are hiring. Indeed offers so much more such as assessments, examples of resume's that are based on the job seekers career path, and more.

  42. Aaron Hancock-avatar

    Aaron Hancock

This has hands down been the fastest method for me to find a job since I started using this app and conputer site last year and I believe the year before. It's been way more active and beneficial than driving to a staffing agency for others to look for work for you; plus you don't have to waste gas taking a chance with an interview that may be good for nothing later on as most of the interviews are done over the phone now of course due to covid restrictions unless you're having to come w/ mask.

  43. IMakeYouSaltySon-avatar

It's a great place. Helps those find careers in field they never knew where out there in your area. Also helps for those not knowing how to apply or look for said jobs. It beats jumping from website to website filling out 100 apps with the same info everytime. All in all I would recommend this site/app to anyone looking for a job.

I love the Indeed App. I have found so many great job opportunities by using this app. The app is very user friendly. You can narrow your search by profession, salary requirements, location, etc. I highly recommend this app to anyone that is looking for a job. In my opinion, Indeed is the number one job search app hands down

I used this app to get my first job ever , 5 yrs later and this app only gets better ! They have almost every job you can think of , and make the applying process So much easier by filling out your pre-provided information for you . Ive did applications and gotten a job offers the very same day . I love indeed , definitely a life saver . (This is my honest review , I just wanted to gas indeed up real quick) by far the best job search app

Pretty looking app, but it doesn't work very well for my purposes. I cannot replace or upload new resumes on the go which is a big hurdle for me. now I just have to go back to my desktop, which ruins the point of having a mobile app! (Pixel 4 XL, 64GB)

Every update brings a new set of issues.. very unreliable app which unfortunately everyone seems to use. I don't understand why new jobs do not default to the top of the list but instead it's ads, older jobs and the new jobs are all over the place. Also why can't I delete messages but instead have to archive them. Very annoying.

  49. Angela Henley-avatar

    Angela Henley

My only concern is that the postings aren't specific enough for the location of the job. Example: I'll see and add that says Palatka FL, then when I get to the actual job the actual location of it is St. Augustine or Hastings FL. Those locations are sometimes an hour drive both ways. I would really like that fixed. Even if you said Putnam County, that would be better. Thank you

I always use Indeed because it is the most comprehensive listing of jobs, even though there are some listings that are expired. When I go to a lot of other sites I feel like I am wasting my time because they show the same jobs. The company reviews are more helpful than Glassdoor, which rejects and hides a lot of reviews.

Excellent app. Never hangs up and does what it says. Gives you information about the places your applying and let's you apply. Oh and the assessments for employers is a really cool feature. Makes it easy to apply for several jobs in a short amount of time.

To make the Resume is very difficult it shows what's needed but I cant fill the green bar in order for my Resume to be used. The user interface is such a headache. 10/10 wouldn't recommend. There should be an option where you have no working experience. To chop off how much you need to put in.

I like this site more than Craig's list. 2 things bother me more than anything. 1 Having a complete Indeed profile, that I spent almost 2 hours making. Then when I apply for a posistion they redirect me the companies web site having to redo my whole resume time after time. Well I dont if it requires being redirected I dont apply to that job. 2 the online assessments are set to the newest versions of web browsers. My tablet doesnt support those web browser versions so I'm left out.

Still looking for a job, but definitely makes it easier to apply to multiple jobs, and keep track of which opportunities were a miss, or if there is interest, and if I dont have time to apply now I can save the job and apply later.

Very simple but not very impressive. When placing review for some businesses their "standards" appear to slack and are not uniform. I've rewritten a review twice with no iteration violating their policies and it is still rejected. I wouldn't be surprised if they are paid to keep some businesses reps squeeky clean.

App is entirely broken. I cannot apply to any jobs. everytime I hit "review my application" after it asks to choose a cover letter or not, it just says "there was an error, try again." I have updated, re installed, and power cycled my phone to no avail.

So far so good yet Covid-19 has made it more difficult to seek gainful employment. This app seems to do a decent job yet still falls short as most employment apps and sites do. However, I prefer to use Indeed over other platforms any day. As the response time from employers seem to be faster and better!

This is the best app for searching and applying for jobs. The only feedback I have is a request. I'm disabled (fibromyalgia) so I need a job that doesn't require constant standing or lifting anything heavy. Can you please create an option when searching that filters out any physically demanding jobs? Pls & thank you so much

The search function is terrible, new update got rid of the option to search by part time or full time. I have to completely exit the app if I want to search for another job because the button doesn't work

If you like getting notifications at 3 AM this is perfect for you. You can disable emails but not text notifications. Who TF thought this was a good idea. I get woke at 2AM then 3 AM then 3:15. Then during the day, it's quiet. Get off my phone.

The app used to work well enough. Over the last month I noticed I was unable to open job descriptions. At first it was 1 one out of 10 that wouldn't open. Now I am lucky if I can open one job description.

So many questions & too many blank to be filled up. Unhappy to your service. Thats why, I need to uninstall. Unlike others. Please improve your website/settings to easiest way to apply a job for the people.

Really easy to find jobs and even easier for other jobs to find you! Applying is even faster as well thanks to the built in resume that copies and pastes itself to each application. Best one yet!

I believe Indeed gave my info away to SPAM and Phishing sites. I have sent messages to indeed to address these issues, and they refuse to get back to me. This site is a scam. Most of the time you won't get a call back from a job, because too many people put in applications. So really, all Indeed is is a breeding ground for stolen identities, and they have no intentions of correcting their problem. Just don't use Indeed, website or app, unless you like getting 50+ fake emails and calls/day

  77. Kirtan Singh Taak-avatar

Terribly unreliable. Keeps giving an error whenever I apply to any job. Has been like this for months. I'm uninstalling and not using this again. I'll stick with glassdoor and Reed.

  78. Robert Douglas-avatar

Doesn't give any responses or feedback on applications sent through this app. Doesn't match well with user job skill set or even with previous search results. Just seems to fall to a digital abyss with no way to check up on progress or replies

  79. Nate S-avatar

    Nate S

The job searching is too wide, I search for jobs in electronics and 90% of the jobs it finds are nothing to do with electronics. Currently I am searching remote work and again most of the results are not remote work. Please improve the searching so it actually targets the work I'm looking for.

I have gotten my last 2 jobs in 10 years off of Indeed. Usually in a short amount of time. This time I have been on there alot longer than expected. I have also been approached by several companies offering Commission only and not being upfront, opportunities to buy in to "opportunities" or people offering far below the salary that I have put as my minimum required. I am not sure if it's them or just av sign of the current conditions of our country.

I still receive job recommendations for jobs that I already applied for. Even if you remove certain job recommendations, you still receive the same ones over and over again. The point of removing certain jobs, should mean that the person does not want to see it in their feed anymore! You are unable to unfollow a company once you follow them.
