Reviews From google play store

I feel like the interface is just waiting to be redone when the new desktop Edge is released, and some things just don't make sense. The main problem I have is the bottom bar on phones. The "Send to Device" and back buttons in particular: the first definitely isn't used enough to warrant its placement, and the second is completely redundant on Android as the back button exists. Custom Tabs also look awful, and bookmark management is bad. The rest is good though, in-built ad blocking is a plus.

I appreciate >very much< the features that are built that make it all around easier and more pleasant to browse. The option to add other search engines such as Go Go Duck would be helpful. It was also great that on many search results the date of the article was shown.. which is something I've always been frustrated about. Maybe more search options though, especially regarding time. Edge isn't seemingly limitless like another browser but it's a genuine friend, no funny business.

1. Every new session, the 2nd link clicked, will be open a bit late. This happens everytime. 2. The Android App's passwords are not in sync with the desktop app. Both have different set of saved passwords. 3. The history is also not in sync with the desktop app. Again, both have their own history. If I have to open a page on PC that I have opened earlier on the phone, 'Bookmarks' or 'Reading List' are the ones that come in handy, EVERYTIME. So, fgs, FIX IT.

Zero sucks on every box covers half the screen and wont disappear unless i "rate it"..Forcing me to rate it is an automatic 0..Also wont let the select the worse rating so its forcing me AGAIN to give it a positive revies..NOPE!! Pretty sure what theyre doing is illegal..forcing nay sayers to leave a good review or none at all is shady.. Like Epstien shady..

Very smooth and responsive and as a Dex user I really appreciate how well it adapts to desktop mode. However, as someone with a large phone I'd really like it to place basic user interface elements down the bottom of the phone, needing to reach all the way to the top to enter an address, search or select tabs forces it into a two hand deal. I also find its compatibility with password managers like bitwarden to be hit and miss.

I have used Microsoft Edge for a long time and I expect to be able to continue using it for a long time. I have been able to use my Rewards Points for searching and using Bing for some very good items from the Microsoft Store online. I'm not an expert but I am very happy with Edge on all of my devices.

Good, reliable browser. Comes with a built in adblocker as well, which makes it my go to. The only problem I have is that it sometimes loads images badly, in low quality.

This looks really nice, however on x86_64, if you enter a website, it goes nowhere. I will be keeping tabs on this to see it progress, but for now it just looks nice

It's oddly satisfying that Edge on Android is so well developed. Yes, it piggybacks off Android services, but it's been my daily driver for years now. I'd highly recommend this browser. Now, if only they can fix the damn autoplay block....

Easy to navigate/visit/explore web sites and pages. You can pin, copy, share, add to favorites/reading library and download web sites that have interest to you for later reading and veiwing.

Very much a hope that it stays useful and a reason for that is it is beyond personal choice of how design is a non starter, but I need the Edge to run browsing across Microsoft Services that are built in. Thank you.

Works great. Faster than Firefox, sleeker than Chrome. Has a built-in adblocker. Absolutely no complaints. Paired it with Edge Chromium on my PCs and life is good post-Chrome.

It doesn't work. Type in a search phrase, hit Enter and nothing. Not a thing. Just sits there. Press the search icon, nada, zilch, not a damn thing.

Using this browser on Windows phone then PC and now Android ,so far my experience with this browser has been great. Simplistic design and features makes this browser better than every other browser present on the Android platform.

The browser is really easy to use and customizable but for some reason it doesn't sync with my pc browser anymore. But other than that, it's been good

After an annoying bug kept happening on Chrome I decided to look for a new browser. This one works well so far, no problems using this.

I have weird issue... I am using Edge dev and edge on my note 8 and Onplus X... I can see my favorites bar and synced on my note and edge dev but I can't see my favorites on my Oneplus X... Though I am using same email on all devices!

I like reading the news & the barcode reader other than that It'sa little big meaning to many MB's for just installing it & used it for a week. But like the news feature.

Works well under android, so far so good, quick to load pages and I haven't experienced any crashes yet.

Works well enough. Wished the ordering of tabs was better and remembered where the list was scrolled. Makes it hard to navigate multiple tabs.

uninstalled... some websites loads really slow now, it was fine more than a week ago after it was installed. those websites works fine in chrome and uc.

As a switch from Chrome, Edge on Android has felt fast and fluid, with a nicer design than Chrome (though Edge doesn't exactly fit Material Design of Android).

Great to use so far. If only the address bar was on the bottom. Ad blocker works like a charm!

Edge delivers strong competition when it comes to mobile browsing experience. The stability and speed is not what you would have expected from the previous disappointing IE which Microsoft released.

I love Edge!!! I started using Edge because Chrome was acting up. Chrome would work 2-5 minutes then freeze up. It wouldn't respond to any touch. Couldn't click on links, couldn't refresh the page, couldn't go back to the previous page. The only thing Chrome would respond to was the 3 buttons at the bottom of the phone. Chrome is working now but I'm in love with Edge. Not going back to Chrome.

Works great for browsing on my Samsung 10. I'm new to smartphone browsing and am quite pleased with my experience so far.

The beast and the fastest browser of all time. Their android version is superb and fast than Chrome but their windows version is horrible which needs lots of improvement

Don't like having bars both at the top and bottom. Otherwise, works better and faster than Chrome.

Like everyone else, I hated IE. I used a number of lighter, faster browsers such as Chrome and Firefox along with others. When Microsoft launched Edge, I tried it, and it immediately became the only browser I use. Much faster than others, and finally an intuitive experience from Microsoft. I especially enjoy the reading feature, easy bookmarking, and speed.

Love the nice and clean UI, but bookmarks don't sync with PC browser. Disappointing, forced to switch back to Chrome.

The application is giving us the best performance, but some problems are facing in private tab opening and running video in private tab...

Everything works good and well . The only thing is while in split screen the search bar is not displaying.

Been a great experience so far! I switch between Chrome and MS Edge but really have had a great overall experience with the Android Edge browser.

It's fast, easy and links across my laptop & PC without any issues. I add a favorite and it's on everything

I love Edge, but I'm a Microsoft girl so I'm biased. They build some great tools and this browser is one of them. I prefer it to Chrome and Firefox--it's a lot lighter. The only thing that sucks is the support--so many places around the web don't support Edge. I hope it becomes big enough (and officially replaces IE) to where it can be universally supported.

I like that it seems to be less insidious than some of the other browsers around. It seems to plug into android fairly well. My level of use is relatively simple and more than catered for by this app. I like that it's quite customisable as to what security levels, plug ins etc you'd prefer to use. I'd give it 5/5, but I'm sure someone would shoot that down ;-)

Fast, includes ad blocking. Unfortunately synchronization of bookmarks is flaky (either on this end or Edge on PC).

This browser works well on my phone. However on my tablet it just sucks for some reason constent crashing and closing the page i am on.

Very good. Best feature is when you once set incognito mode, next time it will open with incognito mode, you don't have to change it every time. That's why I am using it. Although browsing too work very well, but chrome is not bad either. But main reason for using edge is incognito mode, I don't have to change it everytime.

After trying Cake, Edge seems to a good Chrome alternative to this point (haven't tried Firefox yet) The only issue (Microsoft if you're listening) seems to be the scrolling. Even on the Razer Phone 2 with a 120Hz refresh rate, the scrolling using Edge is not smooth. It's jerky, jittery, and not at all reminiscent of an app that's not in beta. Fix and maybe I'll consider using it for PC as well.

Best for Microsoft products and PC Hardware. If it's nothing Google related use Edge Browser. So you know Microsoft has developed a new replacement for Windows 10 called Edge Dev Edition about it they update Dev Edition every week and has more features than edge in W10 OS. Use Software you use for projects that perform efficiently. Thanks, and Your welcome.

Great! Refreshing change from Chrome and just as reliable. Seems to be rock solid both with reliability and with compatibility. Fast as Chrome, built in ad blocker and naturally has full integration with MS services and syncs bookmarks, passwords etc. Can even open a page in mobile and have it appear on your desktop/laptop Edge too. I'm very impressed.

I tried it out and I'm hooked. What edge on Windows phone should have been. I love the simple layout. The open tabs management is great and we'll thought out. My favourite feature is the exit browser button which is not present in "almighty" chrome. I would appreciate it if the Devs could add a disable images option or some sort of data saving option in future releases.

I was about to rate this 5 stars but the adblocker blocks the media player on my site, which isn't blocked by Adblock Plus on PC and it doesn't sync my bookmarks. Other than that, this is the best browser for Android. It's fast, lighter than Chrome, has more features and can does anything that Chrome does. I've uninstalled Chrome for your browser.

Great browser! Works well and it's really fast. But the new rounded address bar looks bad and incongruous with the rest of the browser. I feel like it's just a way to imitate Google design without realizing that Google adopted the rounded design in all of thier UI not just on an address bar or search bar (either go all rounded or all sharp edges) you can't have both it's aestheticly painful. For me I prefer a rectangle with a slightly rounded edges just like in the new chromium Edge for PC.

The best browser on adroid in my opinion. Has built in adblocker which is a must when browsing on a smartphone and something you'll never get on Chrome. I tried many browsers the ones with adblock built in are usually slower, edge is the first one that is on par with chrome speed-wise. Lot's of handy features as well like instantly switching to newly opened tabs, something that's still missing from chrome. Dark mode was also available a year before chrome. All in all really good browser!

Clean looking lines. PDFs open within the browser so I can work or view information on one screen w/o toggling to an entirely different program. Works just as good as any browser. If you're stuck on Firefox or Chrome, get unstuck. Oh! Edge has a language translator. Good as any.

Finally a browser better than chrome which I wanted to get rid of so long. Ad block and translation works superbly and much lighter than chrome. I hope you guys can catch up with chrome extensions on desktop as well so we can also use Edge at PC. keep up the good work and innovation!

Great browser, no worse than chrome, maybe better and I have little trust for Google so it's a great alternative

Too.. Crashy. I was only ever able to use the browser for a max of ten minutes before it would crash and I would lose ALL my data. I was hoping for a smooth transfer from Windows 10 to mobile devices with this browser, obviously, something was lost in translation. It's a nice, stable browser on P.C. yet here, on mobile devices, you don't get ten minutes without lost data. Way to go Microsoft.

An excellent browser, I loved it very much on my Windows phone. Keep it up!

I was actually really surprised at how good edge for Android has been. Smooth experience all round with a respectable dark mode.

New user, so far I'm impressed with Edge. I WAS a Google Chrome fan NOT anymore it's slow, congested with forced ADs! If the ease & speed of EDGE continues to behave as it is without drowning me with unwanted advertising then you new fan, recommending the use of Edge. I'm even leary to use Google Search it might mess up my experience 😉 within the Edge AP! Been a fan of OUTLOOK email for years due to Spam & unsolicited ADs in other email options. MicroSoft is back! YAY!🤩 ByeBye Google Chrome!

Fast and efficient! I love how I can sync my desktop favorites with the mobile app.

Very quick, full of feature and love the reading mode combined with read aloud feature.

A very very fast browser. Faster than Chrome 3-4 times. So i ditched Chrome for this Microsoft Edge.

Better than another mobile browsers. Since I have installed the Edge I removed the Firefox and Dolphin. I still keep the Chrome ,but almost not in use. Indeed, Edge as advertised. Some another features I am still learning. But I like the button " open new page" at the bottom of the screen. Very ergonomic

I love the function but the search is getting as bad as Google. It's mind numbing trying to find news that is real. Digging forever to get to stories not skued by political and scientific bias. And I can type in the exact title or website I'm looking for and it's always 3rd or 4th on the list? If I'm looking for something in general that's fine but what when I'm being precise I don't care what is similar I want that exact thing and nothing else. PS politico and snopes are not fact checkers PC bia

Great. Works. Never crashes. Good renders. Better than chrome.

Nice ane fluid. Love the read aloud feature. Need option to lock tabs so i don't close them by accident

The new features are all amazing but still sometimes a little slow to load the browser itself not the webpages on my Galaxy s9

Fast, good looking browser with a few odd quirks. First, it's great at disabling autoplay videos. Chrome is the worst offender and Edge proves it's not Chromium that's at fault. It loads pages better than Chrome because it handles ads better. But navigating the browser is obtuse. Stopping a page from loading, finding your browsing history, sharing a page isn't intuitive. Microsoft has a good start, but there's more to go

Microsoft Edge is the fast, safe web browser that gives you one continuous browsing experience from your Android phone to your Windows 10 device. Once you’ve linked your phone, your stuff will sync in the background, so you can browse wherever you like without skipping a beat. Personalize Microsoft Edge for safe and fast web browsing • Microsoft Edge uses AdBlock Plus to help block unwanted ads. Visit Settings > Content blockers to turn on. • With Reading view you can reorganize content on a

I like Edge a lot, I really do, but i can't ingore its flaws. The PC versions has its own problems, but Edge on mobile devices is something else. The speed: Egde's is so inconsistent. sometimes it works perfectly, but every now and then it studders. Especially when I do University based work somehow. But its features and overall functions are so useful that I stick with it. The studdering problems can be fixed through updates of course, so I am waiting for that 5th star.

I chose to use Edge mainly because of the reading mode. And as it has nice PDF functionalities on PC I am using it as default on Windows and I am trying it on Android so that I can Sync favourites. I like the app experience. The dark mode is a good feature! I wish you could improve tab manager. It's hard to close the tabs (I prefer Chrome's tab manager). Also if there's wasn't the adress bar on top and another bar on the bottom it would look better. I'd like the address bar in the bottom.

I love Microsoft Edge and all the features available to us like building up Microsoft points to do searchs on the web and cash out in the Microsoft Store. It pays for my subscriptions and other special application software for my windows 10 laptop and all my phones as well as many other opertunities through Microsoft account. I love Microsoft all the way.

Excellent chromium implementation with integrated ad-blocking. 100% satisfied.

Worked great. But bing search is generally poor, irrelevant, I dont get access to my favorites that are on my desktop version. I am signed in on both. And embedded videos allow my screen to time out when in the browser. And it is impossible to find anything in your history past a few days ago, because as you scroll down it only duplicates your history from the past few days. I.e. I visit one website. Scroll down however, and when it loads the list further, it now says I visited it 3 times.

Since I started using the edge chromium release, this app has been great. Built in ad blocker puts it above chrome for me, and I've had absolutely no issues with any sites on the app. It's a really clean and seamless experience between pc and my phone now

Please improve some things. 1. Home button shoud be down there 2. Improve closing tabs 3. Toolbar customisation shoule be there

The search bar on the new tab page is not even centered... Also, the app launch times could be better

I love this app because it's the only browser (I've found) with a back button. I MUST HAVE A BACK BUTTON!

Great app. Syncs perfectly with the pc version, no hustles. I believe there is more Thanks Microsoft

Best app for your browsing needs simple fast and it helps you find what your looking for!

I can't Sign in Google account from this browser.... please fix it as soon as possible......

To be frank, I kinda like this browser. It's fast and works well. However, nothing is perfect. The one thing that keeps bugging me is the sloppy implementation of translate. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get it to show up. it just appears for a split second and disappears. And that explains why one star is missing.

Edge is great, but I switched to Kiwi browser for two reasons, Edge doesnt support chrome or even those in Microsoft store, and it doesnt support external download manager. These are useful features. At least you can add an ad blocker. Moreover, why Microsoft has removed the great pdf experience on its windows version? We must have it here!

Edge is far superior to other browsers. I've never liked chrome and won't allow it on any PCs that I use or work on. Edge is more secure and much faster. If a page won't load on edge you probably don't want to go to that site because of harmful code. Edge gives you the best protection from malicious code and "drive by" viruses/malware/popups

Very frustrated with the app, it doesn't save the settings on Bing when I search. I'm living in another country and it keeps changing th settings back to the country I'm in. This doesn't happen when I use the Chrome browser, I've been very loyal to you Microsoft but I will be changing my browser to Chrome untless this can be fixed. Please let me know when you fix this and I will switch back.

Very faster and secure than chrome and never force to save history for nonsense ads display. All I want you to do is to just improve the way we continue all tabs on mobile just like opera securely. By that iwill come back and give you 5 star and also write articles on blogs about Edge.

Surprisingly competitive browser to Chrome. It maybe not as light but makes up for seemlesness with Windows 10

I love this app but I cant get my favorites to sync between my android phone and windows computer. On my android phone under account's, it says that edge cant sync... I've tried fixing it but no luck. I love edge so much! To me it's way better than chrome but if I can't get my favorites then I cant use it. I hope someone sees this and can help me. I've done more than enough troubleshooting from the web but I need help nonetheless.

Good browser and Polished UI.... But It doesn't seem to have the ability to switch to dedicated apps whenever it opens the website... e.g. If there is a link to play store, Google Chrome will open the play store app & in Firefox an icon appears to switch to the app.. Same goes for Amazon app and others. If there isn't, please add to do it directly (chrome) or give an icon to do that (Firefox).. Also add split-screen option...

Hi. I'm using a custom launcher that doesn't support other apps adding shortcuts. So Add to Home Screen reports no room in home screen. I looked for a solution and found none. Anyway, i just thought of throwing the issue out there, just in case.

Works well, I may change the rating to 5 stars depending on how well the integration with my PC works..

Nice. Here are some suggestions- 1- Improve startup time 2- Add option to disable swipe to go backward or forward 3- Add option to reopen last closed tab 4- Add option to set tabs aside just like pc version 5- Add option to open new tabs to the right side of the currently active tab (currently it shows new tabs to the left side of the active tab) 6- Add a video grabber tool 7- Add night mode 8- Add option to share bookmarks and reading lists.

How awesome would it be if someone reads alould an article that u wanna browser .. Yes, Edge does it for you. I would give it a 5 starts had it had a feature to start reading from a particular point, instead of starting from first everytime. And the biggest flaw is that bookmarks never syncs with the mobile browser even after so many attempts ..

Long time chrome user so i was skeptical about trying anything else but edge has a really clean UI and i found it faster than chrome. It also doesnt have a few super annoying chrome issues, namely it is super hard to copy a full url out of chrome but in edge it works first time every time. Also, if im on a really long page in chrome I have to scroll all the way to the top to refresh the page but in edge the button is easily available regardless of what part of the oage youre looking at.

It does what I need it to do. Read articles and seamlessly sends it over to my computer.

Giving five star as this app deserves to be celebrated far more than its has hitherto received. It has simply the best aesthetics out there. Its reading list is awesome and lacks only tags or folders or it can be an inbuilt Pocket. It syncs like a charm, eats lesser RAM then any browser complete enough to lead, and its best browser to not bother when opening heavy numbers of tabs without slowing down. Chrome is hell of RAM-eater and I'm tired. Firefox has my respect but EDGE is pinpoint.

I was looking for an Android browser that can use extensions, especially those from the Chrome store. Since that was recently added to the desktop versions of Edge I was optimistic, but aside from the built in Ad Blocker Plus this version can't use them. It's useless to me without extension support. I'll check back in 6 months.

This app is amazing. However it lacks the most important thing, the ability to open downloads! Every time i download a file I can't open it right away, right from the Edge browser. I have to go to file manager and loooooooooook for the file

No longer syncs my favorites from edge on desktop. Have already verified syncing is on.

Tried the Android Edge for the first time. There is a bar of controls at the bottom. I can't stand controls at the bottom: I find them awkward, literally painful to use (disability makes all moving painful, bottom controls means more movement, means more pain), and prone to my catching the Android navigation bar buttons by mistake. I will not be using Edge as my mobile browser unless there is an option to move all controls to the top.

You have to work on many issues. One issue I would like to point out regarding the reload or refresh command. There is no control regarding this command like Chrome. In edge every tab start to reload or refresh whereas in chrome its the only that tab to which users want to be refreshed. Make it like chrome.

Well it's quite fast using standard internet dns from operator, and it's getting faster when I use cloudflare dns on this browser. I just used this browser for normal browsing and what makes me like it, it because edge have very very less ads (sometime no ads at all) compare to Opera android browser when I read news feed.Easy sync between edge on computer as well. But still need improvement, the app file size is too big!

Very nice Android browser. Been using it as my default browser. So far I've been liking the direction of Desktop MS Edge to be chromium based. As for the App I'll wait for it to evolve same with the desktop version.

It started today that I tried to open it and I got a complete blank white page. I tried numerous things and it still didn't work. I restarted my phone and it still didn't work work. Finally, I removed it, installed it again and it still didn't work. So I removed it again and unfortunately, I'm using Chrome until the developers fix this issue with Microsoft Edge.

Would love the address bar to be on the bottom. Also taking up space with forward/back buttons when Android already has a back button right beneath it is pointless. Would be better to use that space for the home button like Brave browser does. Also the send to PC function does not work because it never lists my PC, even though they are connected via the phone app.

Hi I am user of Microsoft apps and other products, but in edge when I use in my mobile it appears to very slow, even the page don't load for few minutes. I am here using LTE 4G technology and it works good when I use chrome or other browser. Kindly check the issue. Thanks.
