Terrible on a phone. Keeps stopping just when I'm trying to sign into my Microsoft account. I disabled Google from my phone and thought to use Edge as an alternative because that's the browser I use on my laptop. But, clearly that didn't work. I reinstalled Google and Edge worked just fine. Guess it can't function without another browser already being installed.

It's a superb browsing experience 🙂. Some issues- 1. Crashes when I use read aloud. Doesn't happen on more powerful devices, but still make it lighter 2. This one is SERIOUS! Tabs unload the moment you switch to another one. It wastes time, especially with a slow network. Keep them loaded 3. After closing the browser after closing an InPrivate tab, when you open it again, it opens back in InPrivate Mode. This shouldn't happen even if we have selected "Continue where you left off"

I love Microsoft edge, it makes studying easy and able to keep up with my studies with the read aloud functionality it has totally changed how I study 👌. Depending on my pace on the day I can adjust speed. The read mode is awesome as well, removing any adverts and only showing the article I want to read. I love love love, I would definitely recommend it.

Using it mainly for the sync with Edge in desktop, would really love if Edge Android could use uBlock Origin instead of Adblock Plus for content blocking purposes as uBlock Origin is far more memory efficient and does a much better job. Also, it's impossible to prevent Edge Android from showing previously visited websites under the address bar while typing in it. It is only possible to hide them from the homescreen.

Never really thought I would actually want to review a MS product but i must say i have using this browser a yr or so. Im impressed. Nice , clean UI. Simple layout user friendly. Took me 30 days or so to get used to it. But 10 yrs of one browser will do that I will say I am glad i made the decision to try Edge. Privacy was my main reason for switching. I can actually control more aspects with this browser, Atleast from what I can tell.

It's decent. I'm mainly only using it for Microsoft Rewards Points, but it's not as bad as the old internet explorer or even the old Edge. They're definitely stepping their game up, and so is Bing. I'm not a huge fan of it, but, rewards points. Bing itself is also vastly improved and much better than it ever could have dreamed to be in the past.

edge web browser is comfortable, I miss the fact that I cannot see the source text of the website, as is the case with firefox mozilla. also the possibility of the detailed configuration of the edge web browser is missing as there is the possibility in firefox via about: config. I think it sucks that I cannot make fine adjustments in the edge browser, for example, superfluous query "do you really want or not" for data such as cookies, I would like to regulate the sop that no more cookies...

I regularly use the read aloud feature on the edge browser for PC. A while ago I downloaded this app specifically for the feature while on the go. For a while it was amazing, then suddenly the voices changed from realistic, back to the 2003 robots. What happened? I know I haven't used the app for a bit, tried updating, uninstalling, reinstalling.... Search online for the voice packs to maybe download. There is nothing. It still works on my PC browser. But on Android it's like it never existed...

Very good if it didn't drain my battery and make my phone very warm. My battery would go down faster than a percentage pre minute. You may have a different experience if you have a different phone (I use a non-US galaxy S21). The features are good, I always use the "read aloud" feature for very long articles. The sync is current meh at best, but I get around it but using "continue on PC". If they did the battery drain issue I would use it as my daily driver.

Stops responding when there's lots of text on the page. Firefox, Chrome, and Brave handle the same pages just fine. Bummer, because I like Edge on desktop and would like to keep them synced. But this is unusable for browsing source code files. Edit: I've found that Edge also takes about twice as long to load Blazor WASM sites too.
