Reviews From google play store

Should visit ( BrowserGood. Com ) to install the best browser app for android. It's adblock and lightning fast. Four stars for now. Excellent speed, nice privacy options, convenient and easy to use with fast access to content(connection-dependent). One downside during my test is the translate feature. Grammar is not near to acceptable, please fix. Other than that, everything works fine. Edit: Grammar Improved now. Thank you

Looks good, but slow, and too many buttons on the screen. Slow on Android 4.4.2, about the same as Chrome, although it does look good, especially the Dark theme. But it takes 30 seconds to open, and there are too many buttons I don't need taking up browser space. Also the Settings menu is badly ordered. Some of the most often used items are on the very bottom, requiring me to scroll to the bottom every time I open the menu. Overall, the browser is OK but the UI is badly organized.

Where is the add to reading list option gone??? The star icon used to be there earlier. Recently it has gone and the app is looking very different. Top left corner is a refresh icon and there are three dots in the centre lower part of the screen. Clicking on that is bringing up a number of options...add to reading list is not there amongst the available options. Please i want the option back.

Can no longer swipe down from the address bar to see a layout of all the tabs you have open. Can no longer switch which tab you're viewing by swiping left right from the top of the page. Why these features are gone? I don't know. Whose idea was this? This is an "update?" Crappy. Please fix it. This not an upgrade.

I like this app. I have some suggestions. Please put a search button on the bottom bar with the other controls. Maybe you can replace the "continue on pc" option with the search button and place the former option in the menu. Next one is that please include the feature to switch tabs by swiping the bottom bar just like we can by swiping the upper bar.

Put back the swipe to change tabs! And stop removing it. It is a very useful tool. I don't want to select the tab icon and scroll and try to find tab I'm looking for. Another thing that is annoying is when you select the tab icon, the previews of the tabs are hit or miss. Unless you were just in that tab, it's most likely just black with no preview.

Microsoft Edge is my goto browser. Not only is this true for my cell phone but my personal computer as well. This is highly controversial amongst some of my closest friends, who prefer Google Chrome over anything else. Ok, I get that Chrome has a lot to offer, and in fact I used to utilize Chrome exclusively myself - years ago. In fact, when Microsoft Edge FIRST started, I was hesitant but it's so interconnected to all my vices/devices that I have a MUCH easier life because of the fact. 2 👍 👍

This is a fairly intuitive browser (nothing like outdated UI Internet Explorer). They also have browsing benefits where it rewards a small gift which can be stacked after several months of usage to be redeemed for giftcards and many other things. The downside to this is lack of extensions and it's still not optimized to open sites like YouTube (desktop version) making people reluctant to migrate. According to AccuBattery, the consumption of this browser is almost 3 times as Chrome does.

Awful. I use this program on my laptop and I've used it on my phones before, including this one, but since the last update, it either takes FOREVER to load a page (at least five minutes), or it won't load at all. It doesn't matter if I'm using my phone network/data, or a wifi source. Again, it WAS good, but the update screwed it up. Now I'm back to Chrome.

very nice browser but is missing dark mode. sometimes ads cover up navigation buttons at the bottom. after more extensive use this browser does not work well on android. No dark mode and simple things like inserting a space after selecting a word from predictive text do not work consistently making it difficult to type search criteria. I would really like to get the new Edge Chromium browser on Android.

Syncing is terrible. I haven't been able to get my passwords synced right away. Release an update that at least could fix problems getting bookmarks, history, passwords and reading list from my PC. Also mention that, when playing podcasts on the browser, the audio is paused when I switch to another application.

Maybe I'm a bit daft, working in the IT field and all, but I can't seem to set the home page to anything, despite setting it under the options. When I open the app, it just brings me to a search bar. Don't have this issue with other web browser apps. If I'm missing something, please let me know, as I'd like to use this over a few of the other apps. I'll continue to do research on how to have a home page load automatically when I click on the browser app icon.

I am facing a serious issue with the browser. When ever I try to load a page, it keeps loading. Firstly I thought my internet was down, then I used Chrome and it loaded the page in an instant. I am having the issue with Edge so frequently that it's unusable and have to uninstall.

I use it daily and works well. However, the "menu" doesn't really respond to input. If I spam the top 4 buttons they eventually work, but I can't get the rest to respond. Please fix this as opening the desktop version of a site, for example, is a must have.

Doesn't support 90hz screens... The problem is that switching between edge and chrome or other apps that DO support it and use it is a pain... Please update your app MS... I've loved the app so far but it's annoying to see choppy scrolling after switching Otherwise the app is fine, much more usable than chrome in my opinion, like the forward, back button, tabs control, etc

Wish tabs were ordered old to new.New to old isn't good. The position of the open tabs and refresh buttons should be swapped. Manually picking icons on new tab page, and bookmark import/export would be nice.Recent update got rid of tab switch gestures. Can no longer swipe the address bar to change tabs. This gesture is important for people that frequently change between tabs. Has two different ways to go back or forward in tab history, which isn't needed.Needs gesture customizing.

Since the last update you no longer can swipe down on the addressbar to see all your available tabs, don't know why they killed this feature. Also on my tablet, EDGE constantly crashes when visiting 9gag. I think I reported it already 30 time. I was hoping for a better alternative for Chrome, but I was wrong.

Please add support for tracking block list. It would be a 5-star program then. Great secure browser I only wish it supported tracker blocking or block list. I'm very happy about the inclusion of news guard. The news guard app provides a function that is very needed in today's society.

The aesthetic of this browser is amazing (I mean that font, just wow). Not to mention the performance is hands down amazing. It has become my preferred browser for Android devices.

Last update downgrade - No more sliding between tabs from the address bar, No more swipe down to see recent tabs as well. Please fix asap, now you're like any other awful browser out there, hence the 3 stars from previous 5

I like it because I can download mp4's. My other apps don't allow downloads so I don't use them. Yahoo was my favorite however they have so many ads that are popping up I can't read the stories.

Nice that I get my PC links but cannot open or view PDFs. It's totally ruined my experience with any PDFs on my phone, even with the Adobe app installed.

Wish I could repair link an correct cureupt and/or unclean misfiled or false, incorrect protocol, misnamed or mislaible by owner now. Cleaned, legal credentialed ,labeled copyright's identified an, now searchable. Safely filed data arthintic legal permission to be viewed due Blue Curtain safety ribbon, and content isolation separation for safely viewing contents for correction and salvage. All content filed in its proper place for use and accredited to its proper creater and owner. I need it. RP

Seriously. You removed the button to stop a page from loading. Thanks a lot for removing the very basic feature that every browser have. Now I have one reason to uninstall edge. Just need one more. Don't make me wait for long..

This Browser is very inconvenient at times. History cannot be found. Much too narrow of a space for address bar and Search. If I remember to turn my tablet sideways that might help, but easier to select one of my other three Browsers.

I love Microsoft products & specially New era like a new beginning. Now all the parts are working perfectly together and in every platform. I'm using Microsoft edge browser and it's a brilliant choice for both desktop and mobile phone.

Why my payments and cards info won't get sync to my phone, and the bookmarks and history of my phone and PC isn't sync while in chrome on the other hand its all sync up with my phone please work on that and then you will be my favorite browser .

It used to be a good alternative to chrome, but now they removed the swipe controls for tabs, so now it is very inconvenient to navigate between tabs.

I disabled Google Chrome - immediately, and installed Firefox. Firefox isn't as robust as Microsoft Edge. Also, Firefox won't close when you attempt to close it. Microsoft is still the best.

Since few days I'm unable to swipe on the address bar to change tabs, is that a feature or a bug? Either way, hopefully it will be fixed or changed back.

Bookmark Sync and adblock extension? Count me in! Edge on desktop (beta chromium version) and mobile works well perfectly! Although, Microsoft would have it in the bag if they allow chrome extensions on here, like what Kiwi Browser and Yandex.

For unknown reason it forced to be default browser when I tap a link in another application (like mail), even when I set chrome to be my default browser in the phone settings. Typical for Micro$oft to force us to use their products !

1. No "Home" button on the New Tab Page. 2. The popup message which appeared after closing tab sometimes blocking the way to close other tab.

I have been using internet explorer/Microsoft Edge for over a decade now. It is always better than ever, every update, every improvement

No such basic feature as "add to bookmarks". Instead they offer "add to home screen". There are also Favorites with a such cumbersome and counterintuitive access that after several months I get there only by accident not deliberately. No easy way to switch between tabs. Also no way to import bookmarks from other browsers or export Favorites as bookmarks. Apart from this it's a usual browser.

When dark theme is active, input areas / textareas have white text on white background. Have to rotate to landscape for black text on white background.

I've used Edge on OnePlus 6/MS Launcher for many months now and can say its easily my daily browser. A big plus for me is swiping to go back, stability and low power consumption. Only thing lacking, and the only reason I also use Chrome, is the feed feature with football results, league tables and news in general. Hopefully Microsoft can add this feature in the future and I'll forget Chrome ever existed. A bonus feature would be VPN, as most VPN's on Play Store are suspicious to say the least.

Using a Huawei P30 Pro and have to force close the app almost once a day due to the app freezing. Also note I'm only using this app due to company security policy at my workplace.

Edge is a fantastic Internet viewer. Its fast, easy to use, has a familiar interface (especially for those who work in the Microsoft ecosystem), and works great.

Very easy to use, has fact check and ad block plus, and the faster speed is my favorite feature on Edge, a no hassle a browser!

World most heaviest app. Of course all the MS apps are heavily loaded. This app doesn't work well. Use Chrome or opera or any default browser. This will not work as that of IE. It's just junk app

not sure if you are aware that is not working on chrome os (Google Slate) - not connecting to anything, no errors, no messages, just an empty page with some predefined shortcuts (not working either)

Nice Browser, Loved It! Microsoft is again back in the role, Start playing and competing with Google, You can make better than them

Would like for an option to always have websites load the desktop version instead on the mobile view. Mobile view is great on a small phone, not on a 10 inch+ tablet

Excellent to get away from Big Brother Google. Never had problems in 2 years and transfers info like bookmarks and faves to laptop or desktop with ease!

TO DOWNGRADE USE A SITE LIKE APK MIRROR. Any old edge version from mid to late October 2019 should be fine. I personally just downloaded the .apk file through Samsung Internet. Make sure you have auto updates off in Google play store. I actually misclicked while manually updating another app, that's why I did all this. I already had auto updates off.

Everything is fine... I have one problem! When a web site push a notification... I get the notification but edge says ooopss can't show the content

Thanks for the interface. Microsoft Edge and Cortana companion app for android helps my device do what I need done. I prefer intrusion prevention and control.

I use edge on my PC and I enjoy having the same on my phone. The best part is everything in edge on both platforms syncs seamlessly; favorites, cookies, etc.

Best mobile browser. If Microsoft were to make the desktop version smoother than Chrome on desktop I would be recommending everybody switch.

It's pleasure to use it, no adds, synchronized with Edge on PC, ... etc. I recommend to use it 🙂 !

I have noticed using the Samsung Internet browser as well as this that this browser does not really fit well with the Samsung skin. There needs to be better one-handed use, when sites ask for permissions, those pop ups should show up at the bottom of the screen. Bing searches should have a dark mode. The dark theme in the app should sync with the system settings. More ideas coming your way soon.

FailureFox has gone to the dogs. Chrome has become invasive and annoying. Edge is a good replacement.

Surprisingly good. I use this rather than Chrome on mobile now. Really good for going between tabs.

It's annoying that the gestures for back and forward can't be disabled, they trigger on some websites that are not mobile optimized and require horizontal scrolling. They're also not that useful really. It may sound like a minor thing but it's the only thing preventing me from using Edge on mobile.

With every update I hope for the developers to add Text Settings in Reader mode. No luck yet.

Edge is my favorite browser for Android but for the past week Edge has been horrible with page scrolling and content freezing for 20 seconds to a minute constantly throughout the day. I don't know what is causing it but it is extremely annoying to click on what shows to be an interesting link only to find that the page has lagged and I'm on a completely unexpected web page. 11-9-19 The page freezes and scrolling problems have gotten worse instead o8f better. I'm to the point of deleting .

I love Edge!!! I started using Edge because Chrome was acting up. Chrome would work 2-5 minutes then freeze up. It wouldn't respond to any touch. Couldn't click on links, couldn't refresh the page, couldn't go back to the previous page. The only thing Chrome would respond to was the 3 buttons at the bottom of the phone. Chrome is working now but I'm in love with Edge. Not going back to Chrome.

Better than google. If you have an xbox account you can connect it to your phone and whenever you go to search through your xbox console, it will show their on your micrsoft edge

1. Every new session, the 2nd link clicked, will be open a bit late. This happens everytime. 2. The Android App's passwords are not in sync with the desktop app. Both have different set of saved passwords. 3. The history is also not in sync with the desktop app. Again, both have their own history. If I have to open a page on PC that I have opened earlier on the phone, 'Bookmarks' or 'Reading List' are the ones that come in handy, EVERYTIME. So, fgs, FIX IT.

Impressed! Downloaded for the microsoft points but ended up switching completely, super solid mobile browser! Just wish more we could have more choiches for the extensions/content blockers

Little bit slower than Google Chrome.. but better than Google Chrome couz i can download more than 1 gb at a time.(not possible in Google Chrome)..I love it

I have been searching for a browser that allows for secure configuration but also allows flexibility. This browser has a wide array of settings allowing anything from invade my privacy who needs security to get how about we actually block some stuff and protect my privacy. On install privacy setting are not great, but can easily be configured. User interface takes some getting use to of you have been using Chrome or Firefox based browsers.

Freeze constantly. Love this browser on my computer so thought it be a good addition to my phone. It freezes constantly, so annoying.

It's an awesome browser...however, disappointed it doesn't sync with PC edge browser BETA, just the classic edge PC browser

Like everyone else, I hated IE. I used a number of lighter, faster browsers such as Chrome and Firefox along with others. When Microsoft launched Edge, I tried it, and it immediately became the only browser I use. Much faster than others, and finally an intuitive experience from Microsoft. I especially enjoy the reading feature, easy bookmarking, and speed.

Edge is a nice, snappy browser, and if you have a Windows PC, using it only makes sense because of features like "Continue on PC" which let's you pick up where your browsing left off. The only change I would make is to return the menu button back to where it was. The new menu is great, but seems weird when placed in the middle of the navigation bar.

Easily the best browser. The seemless integration between multiple devices is awesome.

Great Web Browsing App. The only thing I would complain about is that it takes up a lot of storage space on my phone (Samsung Galaxy J3 2016), and I don't like that it takes up a lot of room on my phone. Microsoft Edge uses 300 MB to be exact. In other words it is a great app and I like the design and color combinations of the app. It easy for me to navigate and do what I want to do with the app. Thanks for reading my review!

I love Edge, but I'm a Microsoft girl so I'm biased. They build some great tools and this browser is one of them. I prefer it to Chrome and Firefox--it's a lot lighter. The only thing that sucks is the support--so many places around the web don't support Edge. I hope it becomes big enough (and officially replaces IE) to where it can be universally supported.

I like that it seems to be less insidious than some of the other browsers around. It seems to plug into android fairly well. My level of use is relatively simple and more than catered for by this app. I like that it's quite customisable as to what security levels, plug ins etc you'd prefer to use. I'd give it 5/5, but I'm sure someone would shoot that down ;-)

Zoom in/out and srcolling left/right is not smooth, sometimes not able to scroll the zoomed in display to its left and right direction.

Brilliant quick alternative to chrome. I need to use edge for work purposes. And its fast secure.

Good launcher, but on my Huawei mate 20 has a problem with disappering background running apps. Problem after longer running

I feel like the interface is just waiting to be redone when the new desktop Edge is released, and some things just don't make sense. The main problem I have is the bottom bar on phones. The "Send to Device" and back buttons in particular: the first definitely isn't used enough to warrant its placement, and the second is completely redundant on Android as the back button exists. Custom Tabs also look awful, and bookmark management is bad. The rest is good though, in-built ad blocking is a plus.

Much more Windows and desktop-like experience than Chrome! A must-have for previous Windows Phone Users. Cooperates well with Microsoft Launcher and Cortana.

Easy to use, easy book markings, fast and reliable.

Ads & News machine ... that's with the ad-blocker active. -5*/5*-rating & installation.

I appreciate >very much< the features that are built that make it all around easier and more pleasant to browse. The option to add other search engines such as Go Go Duck would be helpful. It was also great that on many search results the date of the article was shown.. which is something I've always been frustrated about. Maybe more search options though, especially regarding time. Edge isn't seemingly limitless like another browser but it's a genuine friend, no funny business.

Microsoft Edge is opens immediately after I click on its tab. Searching is easy and results are quick. The only problem I have is when Bing covers my screen with pictures I didn't ask for, which I don't like. Other than that, I have no problems.

It works well & fast. I like the connection to my PC program.

Great App. I enjoy the dark mode. Very fast and easy to use.

Four stars for now. Excellent speed, nice privacy options, convenient and easy to use with fast access to content(connection-dependent). One downside during my test is the translate feature. Grammar is not near to acceptable, please fix. Other than that, everything works fine. Edit: Grammar Improved now. Thank you! Need more small fixes for grammar and sense-for-sense translation but 4 Stars changed to 5 now.

Best for Microsoft products and PC Hardware. If it's nothing Google related use Edge Browser. So you know Microsoft has developed a new replacement for Windows 10 called Edge Dev Edition about it they update Dev Edition every week and has more features than edge in W10 OS. Use Software you use for projects that perform efficiently. Thanks, and Your welcome.

Concerns for privacy, even with all of the share settings turned off. Similar concerns about using Sync with my Windows 10 PC. ABP is a good addon but memory hungry. Sadly, no uBlock Origin here. In terms of functionality, this is a good browser. One visual issue and that's smooth scrolling isn't particularly smooth and one MAJOR FLAW is that you cannot sync bookmarks from Win 10 Edge to Android and having to rely on Phone Companion. Chrome & Firefox don't need such things to sync.

Fantastic browser! (I test compared many!!). It has enough important features to put it alongside to Opera and Kiwi as my daily browser. Microsoft?! Whodathunkit? The ad blocker works even slightly better than Opera and it has blazing fast performance! The side swipe to turn web pages is exceptional best-in-class! Get over your MS bias and give it a shot, you'll be surprised how good it is. The high ratings don't lie. Also try the less famous Kiwi. That thing is really fully featured and lets you use Chrome Store, and its attractive Dark Mode is best for battery savings..

Does not use the standard Android icon for sharing, three dots connected with two lines. Uses a box with an arrow coming out.

After trying Cake, Edge seems to a good Chrome alternative to this point (haven't tried Firefox yet) The only issue (Microsoft if you're listening) seems to be the scrolling. Even on the Razer Phone 2 with a 120Hz refresh rate, the scrolling using Edge is not smooth. It's jerky, jittery, and not at all reminiscent of an app that's not in beta. Fix and maybe I'll consider using it for PC as well.

Making a lite version would be better. File size too fat. Have to verify with other account every time I login.

I don't know but I think there's a problem with the update. Keeps crashing and can't play videos.

Great! Refreshing change from Chrome and just as reliable. Seems to be rock solid both with reliability and with compatibility. Fast as Chrome, built in ad blocker and naturally has full integration with MS services and syncs bookmarks, passwords etc. Can even open a page in mobile and have it appear on your desktop/laptop Edge too. I'm very impressed.

Clean looking lines. PDFs open within the browser so I can work or view information on one screen w/o toggling to an entirely different program. Works just as good as any browser. If you're stuck on Firefox or Chrome, get unstuck. Oh! Edge has a language translator. Good as any.

I tried it out and I'm hooked. What edge on Windows phone should have been. I love the simple layout. The open tabs management is great and we'll thought out. My favourite feature is the exit browser button which is not present in "almighty" chrome. I would appreciate it if the Devs could add a disable images option or some sort of data saving option in future releases.

I love this browser and especially the added benefit of it connecting with my Surface Book's Edge browser and continue my searching. However I would love for the speed of loading after typing a search or launching the browser to improve. Using a Pixel 3 XL. Otherwise I love Edge as it's still the best touch screen experience on my PC and I like being able to bring it to my phone.

I have used Edge on Mobile for over a year now because it was the least clutter UI I could find in a reliable browser. The most recent UI changes have really ruined it though. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to move high use features like the Favorites button and hide them behind extra clicks in a menu full of useless stuff. I will give it a few more days but I will probably be switch back to Firefox at this point.

loads fast, seems more secure than google on all levels , i have not had a single problem as of yet , unbiased answers with more details during a search is great also and don't forget that the load speed for any app depends on how much RAM your device has and how many apps u run at the same time , experience will vary , this app is well worth checking out , it works well on my computer and tablet as well as the phone

I have been pulling my hair out with the various devices I use, searches so slow, pages won't load, poor layout. Even on my Mac, Amazon was so slow and Argos I thought had closed down! So on my faithful Windows phone I discovered Microsoft Edge. I have now installed Edge on all my devices. All my problems with computing have now gone. I installed on Android, Mac, Windows and Kindle. They all sync and I am completely happy.

I have always used Microsoft, they deliver some of the best in the market software. They have carried out that promise yet again with the Microsoft edge web browser. Edge integrates seamless browsing between devices making it convenient for work and leisure. Great app, developed by a leading company!

Previous version had "more "options available on tapping it one could easily reach frequently used webpages in various fields (shopping, travel, finance etc.) which is not showing now. PLEASE restore it. Or give an option to add sites

Great browser! Works well and it's really fast. But the new rounded address bar looks bad and incongruous with the rest of the browser. I feel like it's just a way to imitate Google design without realizing that Google adopted the rounded design in all of thier UI not just on an address bar or search bar (either go all rounded or all sharp edges) you can't have both it's aestheticly painful. For me I prefer a rectangle with a slightly rounded edges just like in the new chromium Edge for PC.
