Privacy and peace of mind are precious, and rare these days. DDG delivers. I use the search widget all the is equivalent to Google search... no invasive ads later. The browser itself is elegant, functional, and gives info about what it's blocking. (By the way I'm 58 yrs old. If you're reluctant, or unfamiliar with new tech, just go for it. It's difficult for us boomers to comprehend the depth and evil of the privacy invasion that is built in as normal. DDG is built to protect us.)

For some reason I find that this app works faster on my android phone, than the Google Chrome that came pre-installed. Less lag, which means less data time on my budget. Very happy with it and with "big brother" looming over all of us more than ever, we need more of this and less monitoring every, single thing we do. Why does anyone need to profit over my personal interests? The others need all need to "Duck-Off"!!

So far I don't really see any difference! Which is a very good thing. But the super good thing, the difference is I'm not being tracked! Point of fact I've been able to go a couple places that " " didn't exist in Google! Specifically fight big tech. Trumps law suit against Facebook etc. Google it and see what you get!? It's quite amusing. Thanks for the alternative, it's much appreciated!

Absolutely love this app. I can't imagine not having it. Have hit 100 open websites, don't know how many you can have so I deleted a few. The counter shows 99 only room for 2 digits. Every company doesn't have a app, nor do I want one, but I do have certain sites set that I can go to with my duckduckgo. Once you open a site it saves it unless you delete it, so get this app. Set a few up, if you hit the fire 🔥it will delete all your sites. To delete just one have them all visual them hit the x.

Love it. Never had a bad experience yet with it. Great job Developers.... It's been 7 months and still have not had any problem with the app. Hasn't crashed one time and I feel quite protected for my privacy. Thanks again. I appreciate your ingenuity on a daily basis. Little update. Still very pleased with the app. It's quite wonderful and blocks trackers amazingly well. Kudo

Using 5.96.1, no longer respects Force Dark Override system theme setting that would make websites dark. Doesn't have a force zoom option. Otherwise my go-to browser to check out links because I regularly take advantage of the scorched earth option on cookies and tracking data and, being chromium based, renders quickly.

Search results on the net have changed in a bad way over the past few years. I was skeptical about DDG (the fact you can get it on Google play) but overall, it seems to have restored most search results to what I actually searched for and filtered out all the Google ad fluff. Let's hope it remains this way. Since discovering Duck Duck Go, I never use Google anymore...Tony

The DDG Browser is, unquestionably, ahead of ALL security-focused frontline Browsers, that I have used of late. And I have tried quite a few of them. It comes equiped with spectacular security features that really impresses. It is intelligently designed, with unparalleled visual features that the most discerning user would be satisfied with. Kudos to the developers !

I've been using this for quite awhile now & have made it my default browser. I love the privacy aspect- especially now that we're in the middle of the election. I don't get the SPAM emails that I do if I use the typical Android browsers. DDG has all of the functionality that other browsers do but the best one is being able to delete my browsing data without a trace, & it auto blocks cookies( which media & shopping sites don't like, but I think it's great.) It's also very user friendly.

I like it! I only wish it would refill the screen on my phone when I zoom. If a site appears as 8pt font, and I zoom to bigger text size, I have to slide the screen back and forth to read what is no longer on one screen's width. Opera browser has this feature, but I switched to DuckDuckGo because it has been better for everything else.
