The app freezes and shuts down frequently, today it completely stopped working after 1 year, I lost all the settings, designs, downloads and purchases.

It feels like an app that would be current if were 2009. It's very clunky and not user friendly at all. I've managed to get my way around it okay, but I'm a 35 year old guy with decent tech knowledge. I feel incredibly sorry for anyone not used to dealing with frustrating technologies or outdated user interfaces. Come on Elna/Janome, get your act together! 2 stars for the basic fact that I can get a custom design to work on my Air Artist.

Started crashing and never worked after that on my Samsung. Tried unistalling, deleting apps to make more space on the phone etc. Nothing worked! And the machine is useless without the app!

Can not upload embroidery files from Drop Box, as the Dot Customizer Icon is not in the options every time I try. I open Dot Customizer, create a file to upload my file. Go to Drive or Drop Box, choose the file. Click the 3 dots next to the file, the options pop up & even though, I have my file open on Dot Customizer, the Icon is never showing up. I purchased SewArt to create embroudery files & used that to create my embroidery file. I really need help..this is for my business. Jo

I really love my Elna Air Artist machine. I knew that at that low price, it would be very basic and mainly for beginners or people like me who want to create simple designs on clothing. The app works very well and is extremely user friendly, however it would be great if I could create my own designs to import to the app. Will this be something that you are looking to develop? It would be great to get some feedback regarding future upgrades, thanks.

The app works well and does what it's meant to, but it's limited to the designs on it, and so far no upgrades or add-ons for fonts or strokes. When one is done playing around with the preinstalled designs and using them, there's nowhere else to go. I do wish the developers would give us more choice and freedom. Even if it's a once off paid downloadable design and font file. My Elna sits lonely.

Works good , but every now and then crashes and that means nothing can be done until it is up and running again . Hard to organise a schedule to get a few things done , when someone else is in control of my machine . Pretty sure that wasn't part of the deal when I bought it . Thought I would use it , WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT . Fix these issues , as you can see I am not alone in the issues I'm having . When its working 5 stars , when its not , a zero , as you have nothing to rate 😪🤬

This is one of the worst apps I have ever used and I'm an I.T. professional. I was able to get it working after a couple hours of rebooting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing my cache, etc., but... I would not recommend that people with limited computer\phone skills try to use it. It really is the most user-UNfriendly app I've ever seen. I had trouble getting the app connected to the machine and even when the app seemed to be working, it would disconnet, lock up, crash... It was just a nightmare to use. Also, I tried installing this app on my Kindle, but there is no app ini the Amazon App Store. I would've liked to use it from my kindle, because I had to keep my phone available for the dot app. I can't minimize the app as it shuts down and the machine stops. So, I couldn't use my phone for anything else while emdroidering. That makes it very inconvenient.

I have just started experimenting with the Air Artist machine and the Dot Customizer app and it appears to have quite some potential for creativity. I have also found the instruction manual for the embroidery machine quite valuable for a beginner. However, I need a copy of the manual for the Dot Customizer now that I am wanting to import different designs and cannot find a working email address for support at Drawstitch, the developer of the app. Can anyone else help, or is it possible to get a copy of the English language manual for the app anywhere else? For those of us who do not have loads of spare cash I think this a great introduction into machine embroidery
