I signed up, paid the $25 background check fee and have waited almost 2 weeks now to be "verified" with no success and no transparency on the process. I have just been told to wait for a registration email. I tried to call the help line and waited 15 minutes to talk to someone before giving up. I basically feel like they stole $25 from me and then are not allowing me to access jobs. Cool. I want a refund.

Wish I had read the reviews first. They wait until the end to tell you there is a fee. Now they have my personal information. Very misleading I want my social security number and birthday removed from the system. I am about to call an agency and Google regarding this misleading app.

Full time Tasker here. Compared to Handy Task rabbit is amazing. Pros over handy: 1) Doesn't charge a $50 fee if customer cancels appointment. 2) Gives me the freedom to add expenses 3) Choose my rate 4) Create invoice at my own convenience 5) I still get paid for 1hr if client cancels last minute Best tasking app available. Things that need to be improved: 1) Loading times are annoying at best and unusable at worst. 2) It needs a centralized messaging area for all clients.

App design seems fine. Likely won't be joining though, as they wait until the very end of the registration to tell you about a registration fee. If you are going to charge one then it should be disclosed before people waste their time.

Horrible service and follow up for Taskers. Had read some reviews and thought this would be a great gig economy app. However, after paying the $25 registration fee, Taskrabbit said they had an error processing my background check. Not that my BG didn't clear. They just couldn't process it. Literally six contacts to support. All saying the issue had been escalated and still no response weeks now after registration.

I paid $25.00 for registration, only for you people to take my money and not allow me to sign in again, SERIOUSLY !!!! Tried to reset the password 15 times today and it says to check my e-mail for the app but there is no e-mail for me to do this....so what's going on Task Rabbit ????

Been days my background check was completed. I have a copy, but the app has a background check error. I keep contacting support, submitted the copy multiple times. But no one will fix the issue.

When I click on anything it's blank Except for the button at the bottom. Example: tapping on draw work area leads with a totally blank screen and a green button at the bottom that says "got it" ... Got what? I can't see what to do with my background check (I submitted my that already) has a red caution sign and only shows a support link that doesn't work.

Tasker will steal your money and leave you with no way to complete registration. Abysmal customer service. I've had to file a BBB complaint to have any hope of having my registration fee returned.

For 30% service fee i would expect a well working app Instead i cannot call clients and the app cannot open google maps anymore. So here is a heretical idea for ikea and taskrabbit : how about if the company would put some effort to bug fixes.
