It is okay but unreliable. It is extremely irritating when opening an excel document, that was originally done on desktop, to find the formulas have been removed. The numbers transfer but the formulas do not. Then you have to redo the formulas to keep it accurate. I have had a few embarrassing moments thanks to this pitfall. I definitely prefer desktop excel over online office/excel because of this.

Never intended to use it, but when I needed my information in a place where I had no laptop and nowhere to work (a moving train, standing up) it allowed me to produce the evidence I required. Imagine the possibilities of actually using it as it was designed and not ad-hoc like I did! I think it's a really great product. Are there better ones? Quite possibly although this was here to help me when I required it, that at least guarantees me as a customer.

An extremely handy app that allows you to access all your Office docs stored online/Onedrive. The mobile versions are a bit cumbersome to use when you want to really get into all the features, but it is usable. MS does make it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to manage docs via the app & requires that you go into Onedrive directly & jump through many screens just to get to one that actually allows you to delete something. That's where -2 stars comes in - overly complicated menus & difficult navigation.

Before I tried Office 365 I only used Microsoft Office apps reluctantly. I have become a fan. It is a bargain because you get a large number of well-designed apps and you get the OneDrive cloud - - for about $100 a year. Everything is updated automatically, my files are available through the cloud and the "look and feel" are almost the same on all my devices. Heaven at last after having gone through 13 previous word processors, six different spreadsheets, and several database apps since 1983!

The defacto standard and excellent on a desktop. Very intuitive. It is however difficult to use on a smartphone. Getting around in your spreadsheet isn't easy. You can't finger scroll like you can in Google Sheets. A big shortcoming.

I am rating this app highly not becuase it is really that good, but for the fact that if not for this, working on a tablet/ chromebook to get actual work done would have been absolutely impossible. There are many issues for which you will have to constantly look for workarounds, for instance I use this Office App along with the dedicted excel/ word apps for opening multiple documents. This support should be built in within the app itself and, there are thousands of users crying out for this.

The app does not work on my HP Chromebook, which by the why is brand new. As soon as I open the app it closes right away telling me its stopped working. I've unistalled the app and re-installed it several times and still the same problem. I bought the laptop specifically for Microsoft Office. Very disappointed. Funny it works on my phone and older laptop but not the new Chromebook.

I enjoy the convenience of having my Microsoft software on the go, however the ease of access is not a 5 star rating in my opinion. It's frustrating to struggle with documents and spreadsheets as far as transitioning from reviewing, editing, and typing. Other than that I am pleased with the app.

I started to use this office only after cards option ce in excel.... it would be still more very useful if u improvise the following. 1. Each Cards shall contain display of all the details. 2. Text prediction in each column of the card (like in regular excel file) will reduce typing burdens. 3. Formulas shall also be included in cards option. 4.
