Reviews From google play store

May be buggy while using Samsung DeX, but generally good overall! I used the app on a Samsung Note 10+. While the app contains most of the features available on a Windows PC (Syncing between users, spell-check, & Header/ Footer & Paragraph formatting), when I try typing a document on Samsung DeX mode, the words automatically mistype after I enter space. This app is good if you're editing documents on the go, but not recommended to use on a large screen with a physical keyboard.

When Google provides the same type of app for FREE and access to my Google Drive or Dropbox, MS Word is way over priced for Office 365. This isn't 20 years ago when MS Word was the only industry standard software. Times have moved on. Free software is available for all major types of software

Easily edited many documents, fliers etc. Was able to obtain access to documents from my laptop and edit them on my phne easily. My only issue is sometimes small areas to press with big fingers (didn't think my fingers were above average).

Use to work seamlessly. Now, everytime I open a word document, in an email, it goes to the app but won't open the document. Why?

When I downloaded the app, it was definitly a little disappointing because it did not have as many of the formatting options readily available on the screen. I really enjoy word but being a college student that has a proffesor with strict formating requirements, it was not ideal to need to go back to the website to do all my formatting.

I think it is truly remarkable how well this app's designers/implementers have taken the MS Word features that we know through a conventional sized keyboard/display and have made so many of them available in a single hand-held device that is a fraction of the size of either the conventional keyboard or display; AND, I have been able to intuitively learn enough of them, as well as those of Excel, that I would not want to be without them.

It's an amazing app. It's good that it's available for Android. It's functions are so similar to that of the Microsoft word in pc's. It's good that this app's available for free. I really liked that I can use such apps anywhere and at anytime. We can even print docs from this app, without any requirement of other apps. Overall, it's a very useful, functional and a worthly app. Loved it👍👍

Dreadful app. Along with the rest of office mobile. Word in particular, has enabled me to work on a draft document for over a month, an important document including plans with great sentimental value. At the end of editing the doc yesterday, I saved as normal (even though it automatically saves), and checked I could reopen the file. 12 hours later, the file has been deleted from my phone, without my permission. I have lost a months work. The file appears on recents then disappears. Disgraceful.

It is finally so handy to have MS Word in phone! I can keep my documents and other important stuff here safely. Most importantly, it provides features lile bold, italics, inserting tables and fonts etc which many other playstore apps don't. I'm glad that it is also easy to convert files to pdf and transfer them to my PC, a facility which rarely any other playstore qriting app does. Also, I'm jappy to have this because i know how much reliable Microsoft is already. Thank you very much 😊😊

Handy for on the go work but some functions are not smooth or easy to find. Working with "reviewed text": One touch selects the entire paragraph and then you have to retouch to get a cursor. Then, instead of being able to touch in a separate location with the cursor, you have to drag or double click. Wouldn't be a problem but the program lags and resizes the document, which usually messes up the second touch. Use out of necessity.

Word has always been my favorite program for writing anything. I was super hyped when I saw the ad free mobile app until I realized it was subscription based and you couldn't just purchase it. 2 stars cause it's the MS Word you know and love but missing 3 cause the asshats require a subscription. Let me buy it and I'll update to 5 stars. Requiring a subscription is a deal breaker no matter how much I love the app. Disappointed. Uninstalling. Going with google docs. 😑

When I first installed this app it worked well. However, lately it's been such a bad experience... Everytime I try to save a document with a different name, the phone screen flashes strongly and crazily as if the phone were being attacked by a serous virus. It's crazy. When it happens I have to close the app and phone goes back to normal. I've tried to Uninstall and reinstall the app but the problem remains. I'm a premium user of Microsoft world. What should I do to stop this nonsense? 😑😐

It is not as user-friendly as I would like. I added the app in order to draft longer pieces that I could then copy and paste into other venues. The cut-and-paste functions are tedious and time-consuming. "Undo" functions are difficult to find, and commonly used formatting found in MS Word on larger computers makes creativity a challenge. As a result, this app has been a disappointment to me!

I don't know if it's something to do with my tab (which is something I highly doubt since this is the only app that I'm having this problem with) but every couple of days I have redownload the app as it would up and 'magically' disappear. It is very annoying to have to download the same app every couple of days just because you haven't used it for a day or two. Please fix this ASAP. Other than that, and the fact that it's missing some key functions like being able insert formulae, it's not bad.

For a Google TalkBack user. What have you done? I am using a samsung Tab s4 with official keyboard and I cannot get any input feedback from either typing or using the arrow keys to navigate around the document. Touch to explore is to clumsy for checking where or what I am writing. This is a service I pay for and would appreciate it being made accessible as quickly as possible.

I gave this app four stars because its really good and easy to use but one thing is that you do not get anything you want from it because last time my teacher taught us something in the microsoft word. I opened MS word and I tried to search for it but to my surprise i didn't find and this horrible. So please try to make the features look like the MS Word on the computer. You must bring features like FORMAT,WINDOWS,MENU BAR, ETC. Please work on that

Twice in a single week my Chromebook automatically rebooted while I was working on a file that was saved locally. Word also autosaves. For whatever reason, that no one can explain to me, I cannot access that one file. I've had to rewrite for 5 extra hours that I - frankly - do not have to spare, because I'm in grad school. If you're going to continue charging for this app, fix whatever this bloody problem is, because I'm done paying to have my time wasted on a product I used to trust.

At first there was many fonts in the font list. I downloaded some of these and used. But now, There is only a few fonts in the font lkst to use. Even 'Times New Roman' which I have used many times, is not available right now in the list! If I clear the data of the app, then it comes back. So what's the solution??

This app is quite fantastic! There's pretty much only one problem I have besides me wishing it worked on my phone (currently using on tablet). And it's that when copying & pasting from other documents whether it be from word or perhaps Google Docs, that'd it would paste the coloring & font of my work. Besides that, this app works wonderfully! Keep up the good work!

I find it unable to copy paste text from other websites to my documents. This often irritates me when copying address and other contact information. What's the use of this software if it can't address this simple issue and if not, then for what else should I need this for? Even I can't access the rulers and grid lines. Can't draw even a margin. Is this called the ease of doing my work and saving my time? 😡😡😡

I love office 365 even with my employer's discount, it's still a bit pricey for only 6 devices, but the fact it can be used for both adults and children. I like that kids have thier own settings that allows you not to worry about them getting into an unsafe situation and they can do thier homework and PowerPoint, etc.. It really needs to go to 10 for $100.00 mainly because a family of 4 has 2 to 3 devices each.

Amazing. Write all my APA papers for my masters program using this app. The only issue I have is that when I use the APA template, I cannot remove blank pages after I have deleted all the text from them. I have to use the Windows Word app to delete template pages. If that would be fixed, I'd be even more happy. 10/10 would definitely recommend

The app refuses to accept any email login other than my company work login, and then begins a perpetual "loading" screen that never ends. All I wanted was a simple app to check my papers while I'm on the go. Thanks Microsoft for messing up something that is not that difficult to do.

Buggy experience. To switch from just viewing your document and aligning the cursor to where you want to type is a nightmare. The option to write in column paragraphs is available but doesn't work on my Galaxy A50. But I was able to write a very neat resume document with the app and the auto save is hard to live without. That's why it's an 'okay' rating for me.

Considering I don't like Word to begin with, this app doesn't disappoint. I use it only to read documents I will only read once. Limitations galore. I am sure others have mentioned them. I do give Microsoft a star for the features it does offer as this is not a product that plays happy with Android having been written by Microsoft.

It is a nightmare to work with! The text is always too small, initially, and it's really difficult to get it to fit entirely on the screen. When switching to other functions, such as bold type, the program gets very touchy and the entire document starts skipping with any, tiny movement you make on the screen. Absolutely frustrating! The ONLY reason I use this app: Microsoft Word is so universal that I need it to open other people's work. I am a published author and refuse to use the app myself.

Buggy as heck. Trying to fill out forms or spreadsheets with the drawing tool is broke . Using a Note9. The drawing lines go crazy. When scrolling the numbers follow and then stick to wherever I stop. Laggy. Eraser hardly works. Page jumping around all the time. When I'm in drawing mode I want the page to stay still, not jump 3 pages up after pressing the into button. It's near impossible to work with this.

This app is very helpful I've never use Microsoft before on my personal device and this use for the first I say it's acceptable and exceptional very refine and unique so far no flaws and again not really computer literate either but I love what's happening now need to see long I'm gonna use this I like I can't really recommend anyone to use thou but for me I'm good and loving it....

Pros - Clean interface and great for moving and working on files between devices. Cons - Very buggy, indicator at times jumps between words and sentences making it hard to type, sometimes the page will suddenly skip up or down while typing, at times a character will duplicate itself and occasionally fonts like New Times Roman will dissappear. An essential universal, useful and necessary app but still needs a lot of development.

Dowloaded the app to my chromebook (I'm a student and use it for most of my assignments as well as writing for fun). Found that the app lacks a lot of the functions of the desktop version and is lacking even compared to Word Online. Very clunky and hard to ease into using (for example, new documents would always be VERY zoomed in, even in Print mode, and zooming out constantly was a hassle). Chose to go with Google Docs instead mostly.

The experience of the microsoft office apps (including word, powerpoint and excel) has been awful. As a university student i require multiple documents open at once. However these apps dont allow me to do that. In addition to this the excel app doesnt allow you to format graphs or the axis. These apps require a lot of updating.

Unfortunately, the app doesn't give me access to all of the components that I need in order to write my paper. I'm currently using Chrome OS and the Microsoft Word app won't let me access the ruler and adjust the margins for an indented quotation. I have also had problems with saving my work as mentioned by another user. I will think that a document had its changes autosaved, but later I can't find the document. This has caused me to backup my work at several points, which is time consuming.

Always asks to upgrade to office 365 , I don't want to and until and unless I don't upgrade it doesn't allow me to use anything. There is no option for ignoring. I am already happy with the way I can use it normally but it stopped now.Never expected from Microsoft . Please work on this , Microsoft... Hope I can use it soon and properly...

There are three different apps (Word Excel & PowerPoint ) which we need to install when I need to access to documents and used almost 800 MB - 1GB of the phone storage which is very large in size for users. On the other hand if there is only one app for all 3 apps then Microsoft Office may be more useful and more storage friendly for all the users . Otherwise all three apps ( Word Excel and PowerPoint ) are very good and easy to use.

I had given this app 5* before, but now for some reason whenever I use the "find" function in pdf, the screen starts flashing and I cannot type the letters I need to find. No matter what I try. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app too, no change. Please fix

The ONLY thing I use it for is my Resume and it cant handle the task. When I open, or attach my resume, theres no telling which version of my resume im going to get. I update, save, then open, or send my resume to find out it reverted back to an older version of my resume. Other times, I "save as" a new file name, and instead of creating a new file, it overwrites the old file, leaving me with a new resume, the old one is gone, and the file name of the new resume still shows the old name.

The app is functionally great, in the unlikely event that a) it works without crashing; and b) OneDrive allows me to access my work on it. Furthermore, getting it to highlight specific pieces of text to edit isn't a frustrating experience at all, though that's likely more of an issue with a touchscreen-only interface in general. Could be better, but usable.

Seriously would have given this a trillion stars. But the ONE and only ONE negative aspect of Microsoft Word is that it does not remain free. Sure, it's free for a short amount of time, but that does not help me or anyone else in the long run. Especially for those of us who are broke. Love Microsoft entirely, hate that you have to pay for it.

The one feature I need it doesn't have is the reference and citation tab. Our school supplies us with full version of word and because of my lack of a computer I need to use the mobile version to write essays for school. But I can't due to there being no reference tab like on PC. Thanks. Would be nice for those who actually pay in the reviews to give them the full thing ya know?

love this app: I'm a student and often I have to change notes or finish works in a hurry so it's very handy having it on the phone. However I bought a microsoft bluetooth keyboard to simplify the process of taking notes... works just fine with other apps but it's very buggy with all microsoft apps: switches words and mixes letteres while i'm writing! it's a pain in the a** writing like this... if the bug will be solved 5 stars for sure

I like WORD just fine, no issues. I only give a "3" simply because I seldom use it, so I feel i can not fairly judge it; however like I said, as I do use it, I have no problems to speak of, and I find the program easy enough to manage through and save/recover and store. And on occasion, add a few special details, lol, if You want, lol

Office 365 running on Androids is a garbage level, border line useless stripped down version of what runs on a Windows Surface Tablet. You should pay customers to attempt using it. Offering it as Office 365 is fraudulent on your part. There is no technical reason you cannot provide the same Office 365 features and capabilities on this Samsung Galaxy S4 Tablet as you do on my Surface Go.

I like it so far, but since I am paying for the premium version of office, they should hurry up and make the android version better. For example, why are the templates so limited for the android version? Also, why are there no pen selections when writing with a stylus. That thing with being unable to open two word docs at the same time? What's up with that? Let's do better okay?

If i could blow this app off the map with a rocket launcher I'd be much more happy. With one tap of my finger I never know if Ill be highlighting the entire word, the entire section of the page or zoom over 200%. "Suggested words" as would pop up religiously on messenger apps is very inconsistent which leads me righy back into "I just want to fix my typo!". More headaches than word processing for sure but i gave it a 2nd star because yes, it does process words.

I have had the worst experience and it lags alot it also only has 3 dots at some points it is useful if it has the 3 dots all the time when editing the size of a photo if you improve on it I will change the rate number to 5 please do your best to fix this problem as I am finding it very hard to do my important work and it's not only me but also my relatives and friends who have this problem.

This is a wonderful thing to have with the new 5G cellphones. I can walk by almost any connecting wifi printer which connects appropriately, print and walk away. There is no need for multiple sittings with various computers. So it is an easy and convenient way to have things on the up and go lifestyle.

It has been very buggy lately, and format gets all out of whack. Looks completely different once uploaded onto my university's website... I ended up with points deducted. Not happy. I probably won't mind it so much if it was free... At $7/month, make this work or stop charging people for a buggy app.

Like all the features ... wish the they would integrate excel and PowerPoint features all in one program

Useful but not like original Word. It can be very difficult at times. I had to use this because my laptop crashed, so I bought a Chromebook. It will let you type and do the basic things you would want to do with a word processor. However, the app is very difficult to use compared to the easily accessibl features of regular Microsoft Word for a standard laptop or desktop. Disappointed that Microsoft did not spend more time and effort in developing this app.

Talk to text typing in Word.... Need I say more?? Well I will! It autosaves often, and when you close the app and come back to it, it asks if you'd like to pickup where you left off, then takes you right to where you were last editing. Awesome app, you need it. Seriously, I've never "typed" so fast in my life. Being able to hear the words outloud as im "typing" out my train of thought has always helped me, and not having to focus on the actual typing helps me to focus even more on what im saying

Best app to write series and stories. We can get more than 10 font styles to text. It auto saves documents. We can also add short cut of documents to the home screen. But one thing I didn't like is this app is online. If offline this app will work but the font will be completely changed and the font size will become bigger. This is the reason why I gave 4 stars. I will give 5 stars only when this app also works completely offline because I don't have proper network connection in my area.

I do like the app, it's just a little difficult to get thru it. When in a blank document is difficult to find all the tools, ie. copy & paste, inserting text or gifs, attaching documents, getting back to a key board. This is especially difficult on my smart phone, Galaxy S9+, I understand it's a small screen, I just wish it could be easier to navigate. Other than that, a great app and asset to have on your phone.

I Absolutely wouldn't be as organized & well prepared w/ out Microsoft Word. Even the interface for Microsoft Word on my mobile app is very quick, easy, & pretty self-explanatory, especially when your on the go & need to plan on that paper that's due soon or help with a template for your resume, I can always count on Microsoft Office.

None of the Microsoft Apps will allow you to save files to ANY OTHER location except THEIR cloud solutions or your local device. If you use a network sharing device like many people do today, such as a NAS, this app will NOT work. The app will not allow you to even share a file with another app, if that app connects to a network. That makes this app worthless. The huge benefit of Android being able to share data to other apps is non existant with this app. Huge let down!

Great product, and easy to use. I highly recommend it with one reservation: It sometimes auto-saves over a more recent version of a document found in cloud storage. This happens when I open a local copy of a document, then this app auto-saves the local version of this document over the version stored in the cloud. This should be addressed by causing the app to notify the user that a more recent version of a document is available before auto-saving the local version.

Since Android 10 I have to clear the cache in order the paste anything into a document. Not yet sure if this is a fault of the app or the update. Otherwise it works well missing a features of a desktop version, but enough features to make minor corrections or write enough to then edit on the full version.

It's a nice easy interface if you only want to do very basic editing. As soon as you delve a little deeper; you have to master the folding/sliding menu and toolbar arrangement. I spend quite a bit of time with various interfaces and apps, sites, consoles, and I have to say it looks like once you master it, it might be ok, but I have to say as an occasional user, the interface isn't really like anything else I've ever used, and consequently I struggle to find the tools I want. I go all around!

I highly recommend this app. Needed some resumes. Spent hours trying to make some on resume building sites/searching online for a site that didn't charge and found nothing. Decided to try this app and make one. This app is very easy to use. It has different templates for various every day documents, and features all of the great options Word for desktop has, such as layout, format and font for creating your own. Saved me hours of aggravation. Wish i had downloaded sooner. Highly recommend.

It doesn't connect, it says please connect to wifi, I am connected to wifi and it doesn't pick up on that. I can't work on any documents. I can see the documents and than once I go to open the platform fails. It's super frustrating and the microsoft instructions and assistance does nothing to address the problem. I think Microsoft doesn't want it's stuff to work on chromebooks...greedy greedy!

Terrible, crashes, weird formatting issues. Every time I open a document it pastes a copy of the text somewhere randomly within itself. It creates weird formatting issues that can't be fixed. When I finally think it's working it crashes then asks me to rate it. Basically, it's completely useless.

It was easier than I thought to download and connect to Word although availability of tools were unclear at first. Sometimes when organizing written work tools are activated which weren't selected. It's hard to see what pieces of work look like as in Preview Pane on a lab top.

App is a complete nightmare to use! Images wont go where you want them to, adds pages randomly, wont let you type under pictures and sice they wont go where you want them to you have to put them at the bottom of the page but then it will still end up putting the last 2 lines under it makinhg your work look super messy! This probably has to be the most stressful app I've ever used!!

Universal standard. Wish I could afford to have it on my notebook. There used to be a home and student version which I as a retired person could afford. It's gone now. I can't afford to pay for the new office 360 subscription service which provides far more than I require.

Thank you for the update. -Same old toffee to wade through. -It is very difficult to do the most simple operations but I find the most frustrating thing of all is the fact that after creating a text box all is well for a short time then it becomes fixed in position and is immovable. I have reported this many times but nothing happens to correct it update after update.

Pretty good app for it being free. Can do some stuff but obviously if you wanted to do more detailed work you would need the desktop version. But overall for it being a phone app, I'm pretty happy. It's quick and easy to use for quick, simple tasks. Just wish they had more fonts including Times New Roman that's why I didn't give it the 5 star rating.

It is not a good substitute for Word, which is very disappointing, considering this is from Microsoft. First, the UI is different from the local Word programs, and it is infuriating that Microsoft has failed to standardize this for the last 20 years. Second, it doesn't appear that all the feature sets are in Office 365 local are in the Chrome App. Clearly, Microsoft is not interested in supporting Chromebook users.

This app is exactly what I thought it would be, but there seems to be an issue and Microsoft isn't even sure how to fix it. Every file I open up opens in Read Only mode. I have to re-save it over itself to be able to edit it. It remains that way until I close it. When I open it again, it's in Read Only mode. It's quite a pain, especially since you can't open more than one document at a time and I like to examine several at once.

User friendly, quick access, and efficient.

It's really good because I can highlight, e.g. certain items on my shopping list 👍

Something is very wrong with the programers I'm m sure, the app was perfectly fine until the last update. How can you claim to improve an app and reduce the number of fonts. Now only 12 fonts are available. May be there are more issues with it I only notice this one. Now all the documents I made before the update are having only one don't type. This is bad!

It's harder to use on a phone, but I can access all my documents in any device. It's got almost everything the full computer version does. I'm sure on a tablet it does screen sharing. It's good to have away from home when I need to write, since I don't have a tablet or laptop.

Absolutely USELESS!!!!! WAY too many prompts for a finger tap!!! I just want to type in the cell, but it'll do ANYTHING BUT what I want it to do. Couple this with the faulty (at best) saving system, plus the fact that I NEEDED it to work this morning, on the rare occasion I EVER use it, and the document I was working on disappeared TWICE. Your app just cost me MONEY because I COULDN'T send the mileage reimbursement I needed to. You should owe me $130 because of your absolute GARBAGE app!!!!

Pretty similar to Word the way I remember it but editing isn't great. Damn cursor is hard to control. I like it because sometimes you want to start a large document and the option for me previously was either a "note" type app or start an email.

do not find useful at all I wrote a letter then I transferred it on my laptop for proper editing. Result: I cannot do any editing as it got a silly layout with all words one after the other without spaces anymore. I have tried anything but no success. Not even copy paste in a brand new document works. Now I have to write again a long and tedious document. never ever again use it, as always this monopolist billionaire is after his own interest.

When I got this, I didn't think it was going to work and connect to my computer files. I got it all set up, it was really easy. They will do most of the work for you. All you need to do is link your email to it and boom! It's connected. It makes everything a lot easier. I used to do most of my work on my computer, but I didn't have time to always carry it around while it being bulky and heavy. Now since I can access files from my phone, it makes things a lot easier for hard working individuals.

Using Microsoft Word whether it is with my phone or laptop makes work a little easier. It converts applicable PDF documents to be edited and fiiled. I have fun with Word as I recently found myself trying to start a new hobby by telling jokes and typing every joke that comes to thought. With Word, I can see my dream come true of becoming a local comedian at middle age. It is never too late to see this world hastily full of laughter.

It's little buggy. I'm using this with my Lenovo S330 chromebook and the keyboard shortcuts for the toolbar functions only work sometimes. My session may start out with all shortcuts working, but they slowly stop responding. Also the cursor will dissapear when I try to move it or use different shortcuts. I don't have these problems in other applications. It's an issue for me because it interrupts my workflow.

I am frustrated using this app. Since I first got my computer Google Chromebook. When typing document, it is alright, most of the time. Anything outside of typing this app fails. Ctrl+V anything to Word, it deletes the last word I copied. When I Ctrl+f, the whole screen turns gray. The fonts come and go, moreso when I need something other than Times. Basically using keyboard functions, it is horrible app & doesn't respond. Which is ironic because you need to type to use Microsoft Word Document.

Very clunky and hard to use. When i press undo it reverts me back to the top of my document every time. When i try to use the draw tool with my stylus the pen tab keeps changing back to the fonts tab. It is constantly reminding me that i dont have online storage and that i should buy more.

This is very useful application. The only problem I faced in it is that it does not have " monotype corsiva " font which I prefer the most. So I request to add this font as soon as possible.

This app is amazing I recommend this app if you need to make a card the only thing i don't like is that it doesn't show you where all the buttons are and you need to explore Microsoft word to figure out where all the buttons are so you could understand it but overall I love love love love this app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is a HORRIBLE version of Word!! There are times were a lot of the options DO NOT work. I am in college and trying to write papers is extremly frustrating!! At times I want to throw my computer it's so bad!!

It suggests too much help! I feel like there is a magnet pulling my finger as i tupe. It feels like there are ads underneath my words. I need more control over typing than what I'm getting in this program. Maybe i have sonthing selected that is taking this control from me, but is not happening as i write this review; only when I'm on the program trying to type in a blank document.

Since I've been using MS Word in the past, I can honestly say that it has a positive impact on the way I think before I type up a document and then, save it as a file to display in the future for a Presentation in regards to a Resume, Letter, Collection of Songs, and so on. This is why I choose Word as a Number One Choice overall.

All really good, except saving a document is awkward. When you start a document the top bar moves out of the way and getting it back is not intuitive. Otherwise very happy with it.

I don't use it much for editing, but all what i need is to be able to open and read my attachments when a *.docx file comes through an email. I tried reading, slight editing, sharing, printing, and converting to PDF. All worked like a charm.

The use of this app can be very inconsistent. It often shuts down without saving, jumps around in the text and begins to type (from voice) in various parts of the document, has a very odd choice of when to capitalize words, is very difficult to scroll through a larger document, and is nowhere near the quality of the desktop app of Microsoft Word.

It's not working. After multiple attempts to open a file I keep getting the message "An internet connection is required to open this file." My wifi is working just with other apps. I have closed & re-opened my device, checked for updates, refreshed it, retried on multiple days. The same message appears.

Great word app. It can connect to other app like dropbox and edit your document or file without any difficulties. Well, it's for android so don't expect anything like compare it to desktop version. This app doesn't contain ads (it makes me love this app more) but the autocorrect... (🤦 #facepalm). If you need easy app that can help you editing your file without have to sat in front of computer for hours, you can use this app for sure.

It is difficult to do something as simple as open or save a file when using this app on a Chromebook. I am trying to edit a document and can't do something as simple as even aligning the data in a table. Word on Windows has no issues, but trying to use word on a Chromebook is frustrating and takes longer to do the simplest things.

What a frustrating experience! One after the other roadblocks...and too many to list here, but here's a couple.1. it's damn near impossible to find your way to save your documents onto Google Drive 2. the default is always Microsoft OneDrive. 3. even if the document is saved as the owner, it can never be modified in the future. 4. I'm outta here as soon as i can move all the documents on Onedrive at one document at a time to my device.

Trouble signing in!. Whenever I try to sign in, it says there is an ''error''. Either my connection isn't on (which it is) or the page is down... I can't access anything on it without the error popping up. I've checked this months ago and it was still the same thing, and still is! What's the problem? Is it only happening to me or?

This app works great for the most part, HOWEVER a big warning for anyone considering it: save your work elsewhere and save it often! Twice now my documents have vanished from my phone for no reason and with no warning. Fortunately I started emailing the document to myself after any changes after the last time my documents folder disappeared, because it happened again last night.

Good for the most part, however I've noticed there's a weird issue that occasionally occurs when it autosaves. All pages will go blank and I won't be able to type anything or rather I can't see my words being typed anymore? Restarting the app fixes this temporarily and all my work was still on the page but it's rather annoying.

Being older and retired I rarely get to use word on my smartphone so each time I do it's like having to relearn the idiosyncrasies of the mobile app. It's not terribly difficult but it takes me a little doing.

80% job done Microsoft! Mouse support in Dex mode for simple left left clicks is not fully functional/supported. File conversion or re-opening of documents are greeted with random, unwanted alterations to your documents i.e. words, images and objects are shuffled in random pages.

not the same as downloading microsoft word. have to search for some features like word count. I also dp not like how I cannot type in the name of the font I want, I have to scroll through to find the one I want. I also I have to scroll to change the font size. Very annoying. Besides that, it is better than using the online version.

Crashing frequently, unable to process large files, and when crashes, if on autosave, messes up the file content by deleting the picture files. The word file at times becomes quite large, (data file) over 1Gb, to the extent must continue to purge and delete this data file, inorder for the tab not to overload on unnecessary data. Please fix all of the above.

Not good at all. I prefer the previous version. I could work offline with it. What the hell am i doing with an app that will make me turn on my data everytime i want to print or save in pdf. Where did "Time New Roman" font go? I am disappointed. It looks more like a note pad than a document creator

This is the third time that i have lost my novel to this app. It seems that if you don't open a file every day that this app allows the file to be overwritten or deleted without asking the user. I had better luck using the native notepad on my phone than using this application to edit documents. I have Excel spreadsheets that I haven't touched in months that lasted twice as long as any Word document I've had on my phone. This combined with the fact that the app has several other issues, well: 2*
