What is wrong with the app? It was perfect before the main GUI update. Now it is getting stuck all the time and doesn't work. If you want to frustrate yourself instead of have fun while you work out, go with spinshots app.

Ive had my spinshot player just over 2 years. My only complaint is the Wifi connectivity. At first it worked great, then slowly connections were frequently lost or very difficult to establish. I do not know if this is an app problem or a transmission/receiver problem. Update: 7-5-21. To Mahmoud who claims to have solved the wifi issue by tweaking his phone, I have a Motorola android and I have wifi connection problems. Can you point me in the right direction to fix? Thanks, Mark

We have really enjoyed using the Spinshot-player tennis ball machine. The phone remote is also really great. We are starting to get a feel for how to change the various settings to get the ball in various spots to hit volleys, lobs, and forehand and backhand shots from the baseline. My girls have really enjoyed getting consistent hit shots to them from the tennis ball machine.

I've had my Spinshot Player for 4 years and this APP needs an update because it crashes A LOT and it makes a $1700 investment sour and disappointing. It's embarrassing in front of others, it's just LAME and so FRUSTRATING. Common, with all the money they charge you think their would be some company pride to make the controller work smoothly and without all the bugs.

Wonderful machine. Just got this a few days ago and went out and played with it on day 1. Really easy to set up and used the pre set drills which at this time are fine. Got a great workout and loved the ability to just get consistent shots over and over.

We're looking forward to using the same drills again and again to refine our shots while trying out some of the other drills. The random drills (random lateral, random height, and random both) will provide great workouts and help to simulate real playing.

We did have some issues when we first received the tennis ball machine (a sensor got out of alignment during shipping), but the technical support from Spinshot was great.

After using this app for six months, it is functional, but still needs work. The only good thing in the newest version is that the battery power is now given as a percentage. This app needs a copy and paste feature to copy drills from one preset to another. Most importantly, this app needs a button that pauses input from the device so the screen can remain on and the machine can remain connected. The app dropping connection from the machine is terrible, and it does this far too often.

Spinshot wasn't that bad but the Spinshot Player seems to be the next gen of these machines and also a fair bit cheaper than the afore-unmentioned established brand's similarly spec'd machine.

App has connection and disconnection issues. App freezes requiring you to close and restart. That's if it doesn't freeze your phone. As of now this pricey SpinShot machine has been frustrating and a waste of my time and money. Probably should've gone with a tried and true Lobster. Definite buyers remorse if this doesn't get fixed.
