Nos complace darles la bienvenida a la XIV edición del Congreso de Oncología para Estudiantes. Esta edición del congreso tendrá lugar los días 22,23 y 24 de Febrero de 2018 bajo el título de “Approaching cancer in the 21st century". Se celebrará en el Salón de Actos del Edificio Bibliotecas de la Universidad de Navarra.

El Comité Organizador ha trabajado duro para crear un programa académico y sociocultural que sirva de marco para el aprendizaje, el intercambio de ideas y el desarrollo de oportunidades de colaboración para continuar nuestro trabajo de difusión de la información. El Congreso está dirigido a estudiantes interesados en compartir conocimientos y experiencias en el campo de la oncología.

El COE XIV pretende enfatizar los últimos conocimientos y estar en la vanguardia para realizar con éxito el abordaje interdisciplinar del cáncer. Desde el comité organizador buscamos la excelencia en el desarrollo de este evento.

El Congreso está reconocido por el Ministerio de Sanidad, la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC), la Sociedad Española de Oncología Médica (SEOM) y el Gobierno de Navarra.

Se trata por tanto de un congreso organizado íntegramente por y para estudiantes de carreras biosanitarias que te ofrece mejorar tus habilidades de comunicación, además de desarrollar tus competencias científicas en un contexto profesional de excelencia internacional.

PROGRAMA

En esta edición el programa cientifico se compone de ponencias magistrales impartidas por especialistas internacionales relacionados con el tema del congreso; seminarios paralelos para todos los participantes del congreso; una mesa redonda, abordada por profesionales de distintos ámbitos y debates de temas controvertidos en la oncología entre alumnos. Por último, los trabajos realizados por los alumnos, que se presentarán en forma de comunicación oral o de póster.

Los trabajos realizados por los alumnos pueden estar vinculados con el tema del congreso o con cualquier otro relacionado con el cáncer. Los idiomas oficiales del congreso son el español y el inglés.

Podrán participar como oyentes todos los alumnos a partir del tercer año del grado que cursen. Para la presentación de trabajos y la participación en debates será necesario estar en segundo ciclo.

ACTIVIDADES

El programa científico se complementará con una serie de actividades socioculturales que nos permitan compartir emociones positivas con los colegas: Cóctel de Bienvenida, Comidas y cenas de los congresistas, visitas culturales a lugares emblemáticos de Navarra y Cena de Gala en el restaurante Castillo de Gorraiz con muchas sorpresas, que fortalecerán vínculos afectivos.

El Comité Organizador está preparando todas estas actividades con mucha ilusión y entusiasmo, para poder estar a la altura de las ediciones anteriores. Les esperamos con impaciencia y con la esperanza de que disfruten de todas las actividades.
Dear colleagues:

We are pleased to welcome you to the fourteenth edition of Oncology Congress for Students. This edition of the congress will be held on 22,23 and 24 February 2018 under the title "Approaching cancer in the 21st century". It will be held in the Auditorium Building Libraries of the University of Navarra.

The Organizing Committee has worked hard to create an academic and cultural program as a framework for learning, exchanging ideas and developing collaborative opportunities to continue our work of disseminating information. Congress is aimed at students interested in sharing knowledge and experience in the field of oncology.

XIV COE aims to highlight the latest knowledge and be at the forefront for successful interdisciplinary approach to cancer. From the organizing committee we seek excellence in the development of this event.

Congress is recognized by the Ministry of Health, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM) and the Government of Navarra.

It is therefore an organized entirely by and for students of health sciences courses offered you to improve your communication skills, and develop your scientific skills in a professional context of international excellence Congress.

PROGRAM

This year the scientific program includes keynote presentations given by international specialists related to the conference theme; Parallel to all conference participants seminars; a round table addressed by professionals from various fields and discussions of controversial issues in oncology among students. Finally, the work done by the students, which will be presented as oral communication or poster.

 

The work done by students may be linked to the conference theme or any other related cancer. The official languages ​​of the conference are Spanish and English.

They may participate as listeners all students from the third year of their grade. For the presentation of papers and participation in discussions you will need to be in second cycle.

ACTIVITIES

The scientific program will be complemented with a series of cultural activities that allow us to share positive emotions with colleagues: Welcome cocktail, lunch and dinner congressmen, cultural visits to landmarks of Navarra and Gala Dinner at the Castillo de Gorraiz restaurant many surprises that will strengthen emotional ties.

The Organizing Committee is preparing all these activities with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm to live up to previous editions. They look forward and hope you enjoy all the activities.
