    This app is amazing! It's changed fitness and nutrition for me. I'm getting results I've NEVER gotten before, it's sustainable. it is a coach you add your weight in daily and check in weekly, the coach may change your macros depending on progress. You will see amazing results if you follow the coach. it's so easy to use the app and track food. Highly recommend the app. Layne's book Fat Loss Forever pairs nicely with the app the book covers EVERYTHING. Check out the FB group Carbon Diet Coach.

    I LOVE this app!! It's NOT a macro counter (though it does that). IT'S A COACH 💪🏻after 3 or so weeks of being compliant (critical!) It tweaks your numbers to work with your goals. I went through a successful cut, now on a reverse diet building up to more cals than I ever thought possible, WITH NO WEIGHT GAIN 🥳 Layne & Co are to be commended for creating this unique and helpful app. Thanks guys 🙏🏻

    This app is better than any coaching I've had in the past. I've learned how to pick foods that are filling when my calories are lower so that i don't go over my macro targets as easily. I've been consistently losing weight, very slowly, but consistently. I also love that i have learned how to balance my macros across the week to make everything fit, but keeping in mind the differences in macros and how they are metabolized.

    It's a good app, especially if your training is relatively flat over time. If your training is gradually increasing in intensity/duration and you are looking for an app to learn those changes and adapt to them, Carbon doesn't seem to do it. For example I ate 150 daily calories over the recommendation for a week, lost 1.5 pounds, and nothing changed. The next week I ate 300 daily calories over, maintained weight, and at check in there was no adjustment again. It's not really learning.

    I heard about this app so I decided to give it a try. It's not easy to navigate. The food you pretty much have to type in everything you eat and add all the caloric information because their database is absolutely garbage. I have a free app that I've been using for 2 years and I'm going back to that. It's food database is waaaay better, plus easy to use app. Unfortunately, I paid for an entire years worth of subscription. Lesson learned.

    I've been using this app for 3 solid months without fail now and I have NEVER had weight loss come so reliably. It feels almost like FitnessPal but it's so much more effective. I've been telling g everyone I know about it. Moreso it keeps me motivated to stay accurate and consistent because the results are so reliable.

    Frequently errors out, doesn't do much more than most free apps available, and the calorie amounts are just as sketchy as MFP. For me, this was a waste of money.

    This app has been a life changer for me. I am 47 year old who works out a lot, but I had plateaued at a level of weight that keep me in the overweight area, with slightly above average body fat, and high blood pressure. This app helped me lose weight while retaining muscle, and manage my calories and macros effectively, even though I don't follow the guidelines to a T. Now I have a athelete's level if body fat with a normal BMI, for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE! Best money I ever spent!

Let me tell you, this is NOT a simple food tracker. It is a smart coach that will give you customized macros based on the progress you want to make and even takes into account things like your period. In your weekly check in, it might make adjustments if needed. For less than $100 a year, totally worth it!
