This app does it's job, mostly. It's a bit awkward (how can they have such a poor interface in 2021?) to do anything, though, which is annoying, and it's not smart enough to figure out that your printer is off and tell you. My biggest complaint, however, is the push notifications for stuff I have zero interest in. Which would be anything other than notifications about the print success or failure - which it does not appear to do. When the main function of an printing app is user engagement and not printing, you have a problem. Fix your app, Canon.

second canon printer in 6 months.last one I bought we couldn't get it to work, everytime we tried to download the program from the site we kept getting an error message after the 16th part of the program was to download. even the cd wouldn't work, sent it back bought an HP, installed it in minutes. My grandson took off with it last week, so I purchased a new one, canon 7020. again 16 part of program got error, again and again, skill can't get it to work on my computer. What a piece of garbage, . getting another HP!

Just awful. The user interface is terrible and the app can never communicate with the printer. It used to be that you could connect over bluetooth at least but now they even removed that option. You buy a bluetooth printer and then they rip you off months later by disabling functionality that you paid for.

Removed the Bluetooth connectivity. Canon printers still have Bluetooth enabled.

I've had many Canon PIXMA printers. When I set up for wi-fi i've noticed that it doesn't always work immediately, can take a day or so to link up then all of a sudden it works, possibly because it's two rooms from the wi-fi modem Also if the ink runs dry it takes overnight or a few dry runs for the new cartridge ink to flow. Overall it works great from my phone, tablet or laptop, all via wi-fi, a quick selection process once only if you don't change print setting.

All components must sink in order for this app to work. The printer, Wi-Fi and the phone must all be in sync. If you are able to achieve this this, then the app works excellent every time. Some excellent extra features also. The phone is the most important component that makes everything work flawless. Print featuring hard to use with multiple devices.

I've had my Pixima TS702 for almost one month and I am delighted with this printer. I bought it primarily for printing photos taken with my smart phone or photos sent to me by family and friends. The colors are spot on... rich and vibrant. I've not had any problems with the Selphy app and found it easy to use. I've had several different photo printers in the past and none of them have even approached the clarity and color of the TS702. If you want to print color photos, THIS is your machine!

This review is just to complain about the Pixma printers and the B200 error. They'll tell you it's the printer head being closed etc, but it isn't. Usually you need to do some bizarre ritual involving opening the cover until the printer head begins to move to the left when starting up the printer. 🤨

Great app, auto on setup on printer(TS8320), much better than the old back, Canon has stepped up there printers and software, I sit outside and can create all different types of printing through my my smartphone, I just printed off some downloads from outside, the best part is the printer is turned off until I go to print then it automatically turns on, between the great printer and this app, awesome, update, great app.

Best for Android. 1. Easy as 1-2-3. 2. Download app and follow the on-screen setup on your mobile phone. 3. The app is easy to use and printing documents or photos is a breeze. 3. Yet to try out. It is suppose to allow scanned documents to be sent directly to your mobile phone. 4. On the iPhone, the app is able to print photos but not documents. It states that the Airprint could not find the printer.
