The original Canfield solitaire card game was invented in the 1890s by Richard A. Canfield, the owner of a famous casino. For a bet of $50, gamblers at Canfield's casino could play a game of solitaire and win $5 for every card they managed to move to the foundations. Canfield solitaire became very popular over time. In Britain, the game is called Demon Solitaire, but also goes by the name Fascination Solitaire or Thirteen. Rules of Canfield Solitaire The object of the game is to build the foundation piles up in suit, beginning from the given card rank. Wrap around from king to ace if necessary. The tableau piles can be built down by alternate colors, wrapping around from ace to king if necessary. The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations. Only an entire tableau pile can be moved to another tableau pile. Empty spaces are automatically filled with cards from the reserve. When the reserve is exhausted, you may fill the space with a card from the waste. The game automatically ends when no more moves are possible. A fairly good implementation of the Canfield game. My only criticisms are that it disables the screen timeout, and that it's unnecessarily high on power consumption. Otherwise, it works perfectly well. It would be useful if it didn't prompt to install the Google games thing every time. It works perfectly well without it, so it should be an option.

If you like to lose A LOT, then this game is for you. Can't move cards from pile to pile, can't move cards to empty spaces, can't do a lot of things. Very restrictive for a game bugging you all the time with ads.

I've had this game on my various phones for at least 3 years. The game play and graphics are very nice and ads are minimal or only last about 5 seconds. Definitely worth downloading if you enjoy Demon/Canfield Solitaire.

I loved it, I hated it, and now I'm ending it. Why? Because they have WAY too much control. This last time was IT. After you're on the game for awhile, and it's coming together... you're sure it's a win this time, then"YOU'RE OUT OF MOVES." They play f.....g mind games with you!! IT'S JUST A GAME PPL LET US HAVE FUN FOR GOD'S SAKE!! There are plenty of other gamesl that don't include making you want to pull your hair out!! I'm outa here!!

great. google the origin and rules of the game canfield and you will see why this game is great. it is supposed to only be winnable 3-4 % of the time. so you should lose 97 out of 100 times. this game os great fun though.

This game straight sucks. Couldn't uninstall it fast enough. Hint to the developer...there has to be at least SOME chance of winning the game to keep people interested
