Looses connection if more than 10 feet away. Not really dependable on S9 Galaxy. Have not tried ipad so not ruling out devices. When it connects works well and has all features. Just won't stay connected and difficult to reconnect. Clearing cache changed nothing.

Question 04/06/2021: this app keeps running without my intervention... Automatically... Can this be fixed? Update 12/25/2020: bm update 6.9.6 fixes the bt issues. Now this app is a must have for bmpcc 6k owners. Thanks team! bmpcc 6k... Total failure... Connected but nothing worked, not even record... Big disappointment. Sorry for the bad attitude... I know u all have worked hard... I am at 6.9.5 and can't go back... I will update review once bluetooth is working.

Unfortunately, this app is not there yet, though it's been the most expensive app I've ever purchased. Virtually none of the functionality responds. Of the $6 or whatever I paid for it, I feel like I'm getting about $1.20 worth of functionality for what does actually work. Fortunately, I'm able to adjust white balance, ISO, aperture, and use the autofocus button. Everything else does NOT work. I hope in the future this app will have all the functionality working properly.

App works great. I had issues using the focus function, which I was most excited about, but due to using a Meike Cine lens I'm not able to use that function. Its a fully manual lens which isn't supported. Can't wait to try this with a supported lens! Will update when I do.

Unfortunately several of the functionalities, including focus on an EF 16-35mm L lens, doesn't work with the new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro

Really great app! Needs an update to have all of the correct labels for the Blackmagic 6K, but I love the functionality!! You can change any setting and even run/stop the camera from your phone! That feature alone is one I've wanted for a long time. This will be great for my focus pullers to use so I don't have to worry about certain settings when operating the camera! The layout is nice and simple. It also connects in seconds which is invaluable. Very well done app.

Nice app, but the length of the focus slider is far too short to reliably achieve accurate focus. Even on a 10" tablet with the slider scale set to 2x. I *strongly* and respectfully suggest the addition of a mode in which the zoom and focus sliders occupy the entire height of the screen. In all other respects, this is the best app I've tried for the BMPCC 4k (and I believe I have them all). But the inexplicable decision to limit the size of the focus slider makes every app virtually useless for my work. Increase the size of the focus slider to the maximum height allowed by any particular device, and it's five stars all the way.

This app is amazing. you can control the camera for moments when you can't touch the camera or be next to it. you could possibly use as a remote follow focus with the right lenses. It's great that there is finally an app for android users. I highly remember this If you're a pocket 4k operator this will be a good tool to have.

Really like this App. I wish it had more rack focus points to set. That would be huge. I use this App together with my Edelkrone HeadPlus and slider which is also controlled by Bluetooth. Something that Edelkrone does well is let you set points and then take a photo to have a visual representation of what the next point jumps to. This could be a UI enhancement. In a perfect world I could use this App to control the BMPC4K focus and the Edelkrone movements at the same time. One can dream :)

It's pretty neat and comes in handy. Also makes you look really fancy on a shoot lol. I know the bmpcc isn't made for stills but this app would be a LIFE SAVER if it could capture stills somehow to compensate for the very bad way the camera handles it. Some things I wish this app would improve on: 1. Prevent screen from sleeping option - If I had my phone to the person doing the slating and the phone keeps sleeping I have to keep unlocking the phone for them. I could turn off the sleep feature myself but this would be nice. 2. Can't stop the app from running in the background without going into the app settings and forcing it to stop 3. Option to take stills - Yes I know this camera wasn't made for stills but having this in the app would make up for the very bad way it's done in camera 4. UI - User interface is pretty rough, everything is grey and white, I often get lost in the app and the overall look is unappealing I still like this app very much, It's very useful but if something that worked just as well and was slightly more flashy came along it wouldn't take much for me to switch.
