I LOVED the AfterFocus App when I had it installed on my Samsung Galaxy S7. It helped me obtain Bokeh Results with the Samsung Galaxy S7 that would be optically impossible, even with the phone's Excellent Camera. Early in 2021, I replaced the S7 with a Sony Xperia 1 ii. I installed the AfterFocus App on the Sony, but have NOT been able to get the App to work. The App will launch, but CRASH after selecting a photo I wanted to EDIT. I have UNINSTALLED/REINSTALLED the App with NO Successful Fix.

This one is a really good app to get proper background blurs and bokeh effects. Yes, It does contain ads but it doesn't trouble you while editing.

Overall, this is one of my most used apps for photo editing. It's very simple, but also very powerful, and versatile! Human subjects work very well! However sometimes animals can be tricky but I'd say 7/10 times it's fairly easy to get what I want out it.

App blur is excellent, but one spectacular thing is missing and that is ability to import depth map along side image and use it for blurring photo, please add use depth map as one of the method for blurring photo, as this is the most reliable and professional way to blur photos accurately, thanks

Pretty good app overall. However, please increase integration with Google Photos. I would like to be able to use the "Edit In" function of Google Photos to go directly to the AfterFocus app from it. It takes too long trying to find the photo I want to edit from the app itself. Also, there should be a way to increase/decrease the sensitivity of the "smart select."

Honestly I'm a photographer and i don't really give reviews on apps but this app, is too bad, it's not responding, the tools and software look outdated, i wrote this so you wouldn't fall for this and waste your time, effort and mobile data

I think best app for background blur. It will take some time to understand it but when you understand this app it will be super duper easy to use this and its background blur effect are ultra pro max awesome
