If you don't have service, this app is utterly useless. Quite a failing for a 'survival' app. I suppose it could be useful if you were stranded in your car near town, but for the love of god, don't rely on it in the mountains. The devs really should re-work the app for off line use.

Although this app may be a little basic for folks living in the snow belt, for those of us who only see significant snow rarely, it contains a great deal of info.
