    Only had the bank for a few weeks and I think it's a good app/bank, I like the idea of locking pots and being able to pay direct debts from the locked pots, good for overall budgeting and being able to see where your money goes. Only reason I have not given 5 stars is that the app doesn't prompt u to enter a passcode upon loadin, it allows you straight in and if your phone is lost/stolen then anyone can see your personal details. I'll give this 5 if this changes in future updates.

    For now 1 start, after opening an account, I moved to my new house and I update them through email the details of my new address and also sent all documents they requested, I even called them many time but yet theey never send my card nor update the new address. Very poor in customer service/relation. I think I have to remove the app for other better apps on my phone.

    Fantastic app, credit rating was poor due to my childhood, yet these amazing people gave me the account and have provided me with good service.. I would deffo say this is better than your avarage high street bank. Although the notifications have stopped coming trhough in a timely mannor like they used too.

    A decent app with good features, better than your average high street bank, but surpassed by other neo banks such as Starling. Edit: Thanks for responding Monzo. A great example of something Starling does better is, to offer all its great features to all its users... There is no premium plan... they don't discriminate again those without the funds to pay for premium features. Paying for additional features is very much the high-street-banks MO...

    Terrible applied for account and app says waiting to verify account, takes about 5 mins to 48 hrs, that's rubbish. I'm on day 5 now. Maybe they meant 48 days . Sent them an email totally ignored me. Very unprofessional don't think I want to give them my business now. 8 days on and still no change. They asked me to send my id with me in the same pic. Done. 2 days ago still waiting they only react when the public are informed.

    Really easy to use, split payments etc. I love the voice and style of the app. We did have a problem once when we lost a phone. They should improve the web app. Otherwise, I've been really pleased with Monzo.

    I cannot login to the account. I receive the link via email that does not work saying use the latest email (this is the latest email! ) Hence no chat support available as i cannot log in.... I called customer service. No one replied for 30 min and i gave up. Not a great customer service.

    great savings tool, really gives you control over your money and helps you emerald your spending habits better. I wouldn't make this your one and only bank account though, as you should never put all your eggs in one basket..

    This Bank is amazing, believe it or not, it's made by people for the people. Since I joined, I had no more no less than an amazing experience provide, they stick to the truth and no hidden surprises. I wish all the Banks follow this example. Recommended.

    Monzo is good but my cousin lost his iPhone had to set up another email address and now he cannot even access his £60 in his account he tried applying for another account only to be told he couldn't have one so he cannot access his account tried ringing them. 4 days in a row couldn't get through a complete joke he has used the link still cannot get access to his money!!!! None of the emails work so he is really stuck

    After registration was denied due to insufficient credit history (I just arrived in the country), the bank permanently blocks (doesn't reconsider actual credit score) the email that I used to register.

    Easily the best bank available right now! Get paid early, manage money via pots, auto save features like round up and amazingly quick customer service via chat. Ditched my old bank and don't regret it.

    LOVE my monzo, wouldn't go back to my old bank! Especially good for 16-18 year olds, with my old bank I had to arrange an appointment to open a new savings pot or add a new payee, with monzo everything is so easy. I'll be setting an account up for my brother too when he turns 16

    I gave my DOB wrong due to format and the app didn't allow me to go back to edit the data and so I repeated the same process with another email ID, but this time it didn't allow me to use the same mobile number since its already used. Can someone please help me with this?

    I don't know whats wrong with this app its not even working i tried to contact customer service team she said delete the app and try again and guess wht it made it even worse this app is junk it wont even let u log into Google chrome that u can chat with them

    Used to be good service. Now you have blocked withdrawals from Luno despite allowing deposits in February Now my money is useless to me. Should at least let your customers know that you will block a service before you do it.

    Best bank. Im a top plan member and have a combined account with partner. monzo has never done me wrong, the app has a great UI and UX. I like the features, customer support always been spot on. The only issue ever was i looked at loans and although their own credit score and experia said my score was excellent i didnt qualify for a loan? Very strange. I dont think they share data with experia though. But, seriously best bank ive ever been with.

    What a refreshing change to "Regular" banking! Everything you need at your fingertips. Full and instant control over your accounts, easily search for or export information, and in the unlikely event you need to contact them, just send a message through the app and they get back to you practically straight away. Can you get in touch with your bank at 10pm on a Sunday evening? ...I can!!! I absolutely LOVE Monzo!

    Awesome app and equally awesome bank. I have both personal and business banking with Monzo and it is the best financial decision I have ever made. All outgoings and incoming payments are explained in detail. You can also use card with Google pay so that means you don't have to take card out with you when you shop. (£30 per transaction when paying with phone.) Card is contactless. (£30 when paying contactless. Have to put pin in after every 5 or 6 contacless transactions with card)

    Impossible to log in! I have a new phone and trying to log in is a nightmare. The "magic link" they send you either crashes the app or takes me to the "create account" page. Once you hit this page you need to uninstall the app entirely and start again, you cannot get out of this page otherwise. I have reached out to customer services but have only received generic responses. I wish there was a desktop version so I could see what's going on with my money!

    A very rare five star. This bank is hands down the best I have every experienced and I have tried many in my time. This is so easy to setup and use and with all the immediate notifications on when things have gone out and when there's upcoming bills to which prepares you for that. After being a member for 4 years I'm now a solid premium member and never looked back since.

    Excellent though with 2 problems: if u have a personal and joint account, the sender & myself can not choose which account the money belongs. I have to receive to my personal then transfer to joint so the downside is the visual on where money is actually from. Next, I spend money on groceries then eg. my sister pays money in towards them & payment is allocated to same category. the overall monthly spend ignores the value so looks like I spent more than I did so burger spend not accurate.

    I'm giving it a 5 star for now, but may change in future. I've found it a great app, but my ONLY real concern is the amount of messages that explain Monzo closed them down from nowhere. I saw one Monzo reply which said they "do not close accounts down without good reason". I'm extremely worried about that statement. If there's fraud, there's a case. For any other reason, it is not acceptable. Anyone regardless of their identity, political views or demographics should be open to banking.

    Monroe has some great features that push the boundaries of what a bank should be but when it comes to the core functionality of being a bank this app falls short. I've had payments blocked due to bugs in their verification system and more recently scheduled payments just don't trigger. The support is a great help but I'd really just like things to work first time without all the hassle.

    So far it's amazing to use. Only issue I have with the app is security. When you click on the monzo app it's opening directly and easy to login. This is why I'm not keeping big amount in my account. Password protection would be perfect in the future. Please consider that. I'm giving 5 star anyway. I love this. I'm switching my Barclays to Monzo. I hope there will be password protection in the future.

    Nice app, bad service. A simple query took 30 mins as I was bounced between loads of different agents, and had to wait 3-5 minutes for every web chat response. Eventually got stuck in an escalation loop of one team escalating to another who escalated back to the first. Don't expect a premium service, even if you pay for the premium accounts, my old high street bank made Monzo look stone-age from a service perspective.

    Love this way of banking! Everything is controlled by me...payments, transfers, dd, standing orders etc etc. Alerts for money going in and out is my favourite 👌🏼 Had my card cloned yesterday and 2 payments were taken without consent. however, due to the alert i was able to freeze my card instantly. They then attempted 2 more fraudulant transactions!! £1000 was stolen but the money was back in my account within 24 hrs thanks to monzo! My only gripe is the cash deposit limit is very low.

    Nearly two years with Monzo and so far very happy. By far the best current account I've EVER had, app is excellent and I don't think I have ever been charged for any services, but I rarely draw cash via ATM. My only gripe is security, the app frequently switches off all security so opens with no authentication reqiured. This has happened many times over three different Android phones. If it wasn't for this flaw I'd have given 5 stars.

    I love this app and bank so much! So easy to set up an account, incredibly user friendly and is great in helping me know where I am with my money - I also love the separate pots I can have for my savings. Only downside was that I loved the sound effect that came with the app notifications and it vanished when I upgraded my phone - not the apps fault, I just miss that little kerching noise!

    Forgot my card pin. Used the forgot pin option last year. I'd say it's been a good 6 months since I've done this, maybe longer. And I've not heard back since. And therefore have not been able to get into my account. It's been forever since I've used the app, as I haven't been able to get in. I can't even remember what it's like. So I don't really have an opinion on it, just the customer service. Or lack thereof.

    I was hoping for an NFC 2fa option for the security conscious but the only thing protecting your account is a 4 digit pin. Edit. Just found biometric authentication. I'm still not completely happy with the absence of NFC but it's better than just a 4 digit pin. Very nice to use, integrates very well with my regular bank account.

    This app is great! The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 star is the get payed a day early feature dusent work for me. I am getting payed using bacs and I'm not having the messages prompted me. I do with some other stuff just no my main work :( acapt from that the plus features are really good and helpful and just the app itself is good.

    Logging into your banking account is the HARDEST thing. I constantly have issues with it to the point where I've been recommended by them that I should deinstall and install the app again. I have not once been able to actually get a reply from their support team via the chat. This app is the pain of my life.

    Poor Service, tried to open an account and was rejected. No information into the reason why. No proper checks are made. Not sure if there is some sort of descrimation but glad I avoided banking with Monzo. Going through other negative reviews I can see how bad their customer service is.

    For some reason Monzo seems to be incompatible with my local supermarket, where I do most of my shopping. This has resulted in 3/4 'ghost transactions' in as many months, which leaves me unable to use my card for around 3 days at a time. Nothing but hassle in the 6 months or so I've been with Monzo. Avoid.

    Very disappointed with your services I just wait for a refund for 30 days. I buy a car insurance policy on 1st February. But second day I cancel it. Because wasn't right one I need. I contact monzo by phone and on chat section. They says I need to wait 30 days for my refund. Even that insurance don't take my money they send back to my account. But all of this is depends from monzo team. Don't recommend it. I will cancel my account after I receive my refund. Very disappointed. 👎👎👎

    Have used Monzo for two years and as my main current account for around 8 months. Couldn't ask for better. Their app is so much more useful than the average high street bank and their general service matches that too. Need to complete a simple task like change your address? Just do it in the app - no card reader, no paperwork, no going to branch, it just updates there and then. Saves so much time. Not sure? Give them a go as a second account - you'll be making them your main before you know it!

    Brilliant for people with bad credit, To increase your credit score pay 5 pound a month and your credit score grows massive with in 1 month. You can also just have a free account this is a pre paid account. You can also get an over draft when paying in your monthly pay check..

    I Can't open an account because they don't find the address by postcode. They say 'we can't find the addressee in our database'. In the ' help' they say 'if you don't find you address contact royal Mail and fix it because we use royal mail database'. 1. So which database are you using? 2. I checked the royal mail address database and actually the address is there. What next? Kind regards

    Very easy app to use. Great flexibility even without paying for premium features. Steady improvements have made it more and more useful and easy to use. The only slight issue is the restriction in paying in cash and or cheques. I am hopefull that the ability to pay in cheques with photos will come soon.

    Good apart from you cant take pictures of your cheques to pay them in like pretty much every other bank. I expected Monzo to have that feature as they are 100% online. Even Royal Bank of Scotland have that feature now. Posting cheques is a joke. Only downside really. Great customer service on live chat in the app.

    Okay app, bad customer service. If you contact them you'll get past around from agent to agent and I haven't even had a response to my last query. Everytime I sign on the app they try to sell me the premium cards. Doesn't seem to be a way of removing this and il be leaving if it doesn't stop.

    Big security issue where the settings change by themselves to allow access to the app without having to enter a pin or fingerprint. Just let's anyone straight on in. Got your response (Monzo). I know how the settings work! The issue is that the settings revert by themselves to back zero security.

    Would've been okay. But whenever I transfer money internationally, the account details wasnt saved, hence theres more chance of mistake. I only transfer to 1 account overseas, but I know one day I will make a mistake and it will be huge problem

    Used to be my favourite bank before one day, all of a sudden they've frozen my account without any explanation, leaving me without means for survival. It's now been 2 weeks since then, and they still haven't returned my money without providing any reason for freezing my account, they've only told me that they will close my account and they will not tell me why. Avoid them if you don't want to get in the situation when you can't buy any food or get to work and monzo wouldn't give a f#€k about you

    WARNING: Awful customer service. Monzo operates a texting style system for customer service, great idea in principle but basically doesn't work. Expect to wait many hours and sometimes days for a response per message.. Nightmare! Also, Monzo does not accept and cannot make international payments into or out from your Monzo account. They don't make this clear at all when you sign up. Be sure this is going to work for you, especially if you're a business customer.

    Been using Monzo for an year All of a sudden they've decided to close my account without any explaination when everything was going smooth just like for the past year. They will give good service but at the end of the day your account gets blocked and you get in a situation where they will not care any less

    Refuse to ever help you recover funds. Decline ebay refunds being processed into your account. Useless unhelpful stupid people behind chat that just copy paste a reply over and over. Avoid them at all costs.

    Yesterday I took out £ 250 from an ATM that is free cash and they charged me an additional £ 7.20. This is not understood since all the ATMs put how much this transaction costs you and if they put it they did not get the money, I think it is an abusive charge since it is not even a credit card that you are taking their money, you are taking your own money and with our money they earn more money. Another thing they don't even have a customer service phone number, so they've stolen your money.

    I applied for a business account, waiting for it to open so I can start trading and doing my business on Amazon. After wasting a holy month, I recieved a current account card? Then I had to reapply in the app and so I did it. Was waiting for the verification and that took less than a month but still too long. Later told me I cannot open a business account. So what was the reason? "We don't know" Waste of time to be honest, that's what I experienced and tald me I cannot open the account.

    First off waited a year on a wait was excited to see what monzo was going to do. Yeah have "Succesfully" opened acount, cant get into app at all now wants my "monzo card number" well thats impossible since i disnt receive one magically and instantaneously the second my account,was,"Succesfully" opened.     Been using Monzo for about 2 years, service has been great and seeing the app develop and grow. My only disappointment is that they use TransferWise for international payments, unfortunately they are not a cryto friendly transfer service. May reconsider changing banks now.

    The savings pot used to have generous interest. Now they are offering very low interest. I took all my savings out of Monzo and put them in another bank with a better interest rate. Since Monzo introduced subscriptions the quality of the bank for "free" users has gone down. Banks shouldn't have subscription plants
