✖ WiFi Password Viewer doesn't discover the WiFi passwords! ✔ WiFi Password Viewer shows only the password of WiFi networks to which you have been connected! Warning: ROOT access is required. Some devices (e.g. Samsung) encrypt WiFi passwords, so that no app can show them clearly. To show them, please, following the instruction in the Welcome Alert Dialog in the app or here: android.stackexchange.com/questions/95923/decrypting-wpa-supplicant-conf-on-samsung-galaxy-mobiles. Thanks for collaboration. N. B.: it's impossible to make an application to show WiFi passwords without requiring root, as it has to read a file that is in an inaccessible location without administrator privileges (/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf). For any request, report or other, please, send me an email before leave a negative review ([email protected]). Otherwise, If the application helped you, consider to leave a positive review. I looked up how to view saved passwords for networks stored on my galaxy S9. The article stated I needed to install a viewer app and that my phone also needed to be rooted. Supposedly, after reviewing many apps, this was the only one found to work for the Samsung. Apparently, the article was just an advertorial, complete with a link (that didn't work) to this app, which also failed. It opened to a message it wouldn't work due to missing what it was supposed to be installing. Then said to upgrade

Worked well in the past, but now the backup file it creates does not contain all of the networks and passwords. All show properly within the app, so that alone makes this a worthwhile app, but backup issue is a bit annoying considering this is the Pro Version.

Awesome to see the Android 11 update (is it the first ever update for this app?). I've been using the app for ages and I was bummed to find it wasn't working when I installed it on my new phone a couple days ago. Needless to say: it works ;) (I bet the dev uses it too and he just switched to Android 11 himself)

Its great, the obly thing I dont understand is why exactly I need a root. My phone apperently "had" a root and all of a sudden it isnt? Well... I need help of this problem is fixed or if this app doesn't need a root anymore I'd glady rate it 5 stars!

Straightforward, loving the material design. Will give 5 stars if the CURRENT WiFi network can be showcased at the top of the list. Edit : Gave 5 stars anyways, there's a search bar.

After quite some time, the app is updated for Android 11. Nothing much else to say other than it grabs the list of WiFi SSID and Passwords from the new folder location and displays it.

It does what it says and in a good way... I would love if it always keeps info for each wifi even if I forget it from the main system, I'm aware of the backup function but I keep forgetting to use it

Works in showing all the passwords, which is useful enough, but it crashes whenever you try to back them up.

This works perfectly with root on Android 11, and isn't aggressive with the ads. Thanks!
Dan
Works perfect if you have root access.
