I was really looking forward to playing something similar to the classic computer game bit with updated graphics and sound.... I was disappointed. I can appreciate the developers trying something new but the solitaire style game play is lackluster. For a detective you don't do any investigating or learn anything about geography like in the original.

I was okay with it being a card game. What I dislike is that it's only 5 cases counting the daily. I find it a bit monotonous. I wish it was more like the game I played as a child that tested us and our knowledge.

It is just another card game. I want to find the old version that I played that went all over the world. It was educational and great for kids. No offense to the creator of this game, I just wanted more. If you are looking for a card game this one is fine.

As someone who played the original carmen sandiego game when it first came out this was a let down but as a card game it was decent but definently not a carmen game
