3/5 Because I can't figure out how to save anything I create. It's telling me I can only install internally on Android 4.4 and up (I'm on Android 9.0 Pixel 2 XL). I'm not using a SD card. The app seems to recognize my phones internal storage as an external card. I had to refund for now. I will gladly repurchase when a fix is available.

webmaster's html editor Its one of the few editor's for Android. Good for practice or fixing bugs in files, nothing too complex.

  3. guest-avatar

webmaster's html editor pro apk I cannot open top menu (new file, open file...) on my Meizu m2 note. Suppert does not answer me. It cannot be used because I cannot get part of functionality. So think before pay.

webmaster's html editor 1.7 2 Could not get anything to work. Couldn't find a folder with my webpage in it, i even moved the folder to where the app seemed to be stuck looking. It's too bad cause the editing software looks nice. But i couldn't get it to open the page i needed to work on

  10. guest-avatar

webmaster's html editor full version free download This app allows for very fast entry of HTML markup! It is a dedicated TEXT editor for things having to do with the Web. I discovered on You-Tube video that the tags deprecated in HTML 4 were undeprecated in HTML 5. Auto save can now be turned OFF to prevent accidents. If you are serious about this app you want this Pro version and it's cheap. With Pro you can view your HTML by pressing a view button. Pro also speeds markup. CSS support is excellent. Update: Android 6 and 7: You will need to go into Settings -> Apps -> Webmaster -> Permissions and turn on storage permission. I'm new to Android 6 and 7 it took me a while to discover this. The app requires this permission to load and save files.

  11. guest-avatar

This is a very powerful little app. It helped me get back into web design on the go. It recognizes html, css, java, and javascript. It is extremely useful to anyone that needs to edit quickly or build most websites on the go. It does exactly what I need it to do and more. And for that, I'm completely satisfied.

  12. guest-avatar

This is an editor dedicated to Web page work. It has tools for fast markup of HTML. It now allows users to choose whether or not to auto save. This version is designed for HTML5. The previous version was designed for HTML4 (xhtml 1.0 strict) This app also quickly creates CSS style sheets. Suggestion: Add a personal tag dictionary for tags the app does not highlight such as em and blockquote. Jelly Bean Note: Version 1.7 works best on Jelly bean. Versions 1.72 & version 1.73 work best on Lollipop and higher. If use Jelly Bean and you don't have older apks check Aptoid. I save my old apks for that reason.

  13. guest-avatar

I love it, well made and it works far better then most out there on the market. Great job:-)

Very nice but you need to know ur basics ...

  15. guest-avatar

    Good App..

  16. guest-avatar

    Great app

  17. guest-avatar

Readily enters HTML and CSS. New update designed for HTML 5. Some users have had difficulties using the app. In Android 6 and higher the user must turn on storage permission from settings. Version 1.7 was a big improvement. Version 1.7.3 crashes on all users except the owner. I had used an exploit to save an apk for version 1.7. I uninstalled version 1.7.3 and side loaded version 1.7 back. Everything worked for all users again. I use the app quite a lot to write HTML documents.

This app is perfect for web developers. The reason I gave it 4 stars, is because I would like to see more code hints and snippets within the editor itself (not referring to the quick reference guide). I only see about 7 code snippets/hints to help complete the code. Overall, very helpful and awesome app.

  19. guest-avatar

I absolutely love this app. This is amazingly simple but powerful. Adjustable font size is a major plus. Attractive, nice graphics, love the night mode theme. The tag helpers are so handy. Love the color coding. I wish the indents were a little more pronounced.

  20. guest-avatar

Although it's not that powerful, but it does what I've expected for this app to behave. it's very useful when you want to review your code and user-friendly. I hope it does more on upcoming upgrades.

Great app. It would be a 5 star if it supported "multi window mode" on the Samsung note 2. This would allow one to easily work with online tutorials and browse for code snippets to cut and paste etc... Please consider adding this capability...

  22. guest-avatar

Only a couple issues could be better, but, it's great.

  23. guest-avatar

Quick and dirty, especially when you are simply editing.

  24. guest-avatar

Still needs some updates but overall loving it

  25. guest-avatar

    Great app

  26. guest-avatar

so far so good but have noticed one thing when doing the quick tag. I can start typing the tag out and then choose from the list but it doesn't add the closing bracket. It adds closing tag but not the bracket for opening tag. I've also noticed it doesn't always highlight the tags unless I edit them after the fact.

  27. guest-avatar

Very light on features. very basic text editor that understands the HTML syntax well enough so that tags and elemets get pretty colors in your document. If you don't already have a strong grasp of HTML, this product is not for you.

  28. guest-avatar

Very easy to use with handy use of "</>" buttons. would be 5 star if it didn't crash (very occasionally) and stayed in 'test page' when orientation of device is changed.

  29. guest-avatar

I'm a beginner in html and so this app has been very helpful to me. One small request though.. *Please continue to update the tags. This would be visually helpful. Would be nice to have them all for convenience sake. Thank you for this app! Using Galaxy Note 4

Sure, I prefer to write HTML and CSS on a computer. But, when the work must be done on the smart-phone, then WebMaster's a pretty good solution. Try it.

  31. guest-avatar

...except I would love to be able to have more than one file open at any time. Five stars if that's implemented.

  32. guest-avatar

Can't even find the file on its preveiw button, so you can't preveiw your work if I could I would give it 0 stars

  33. guest-avatar

    Michael Strickler

I would like to be able to access files from both the phone and the sdcard.

  34. guest-avatar

Does what I've been looking for. I make my codes somewhere else. Then past it here & tweak it then save it. Thank You.😎😎

  35. guest-avatar

All web development should check out this app you will love it. Thanks for developers.

  36. guest-avatar

Allows me to edit raw code on my phone. Had cool tools to make things quick and easy.

  37. guest-avatar

First app I ever paid for....literally. After 2 years, I finally paid to upgrade to the pro version. Worth every penny.

  38. guest-avatar

Unfortunately not very useful with ChromeOS, which has now become my default place to use this app. This app doesn't utilize the ChromeOS file browser so opening files from GDrive or external storage isn't possible, you can only open files stored locally by manually navigating the local file system (which doesn't support external SD cards), and that makes it impossible to open files stored in the cloud, which ChromeOS excels at. I'm looking for another solution until this is updated.

  39. guest-avatar

Easy to use, but the highlighting of tags could be more consistant.

  40. guest-avatar

Is there an FAQ? I can't get external style sheets to work.

  41. guest-avatar

Great interface, love the built-in preview feature!

  42. guest-avatar

I love this app, it is so easy to use and it is so intuitive.

  43. guest-avatar

  54. guest-avatar

from an advanced dreamweaver developer: ...much, much better. far closer to my beloved dw than any other app of its kind on play. to get 5 stars from me, however, dev will have to add: swipe to slide back and forth to bottom menu, make "webmaster" title a dropdown menu, better support for 3rd party keyboards such as terminal ide (currently buggy), code completion should replace partial text not add to it, and a real floating properties bar like the air terminal app. good job.

  55. guest-avatar

Nice easy app. Powerful for advanced coders and helpful for beginners. My only criticism is there is not a way(as far as I know) to save a file directly to onedrive, googledrive,or dropbox. Workaround is 1)select file by highlighting code and using 'select all' 2)text link to android quick memo 3)from quick memo select 'share as 'text and image''4) send to cloud and/or email. For me,well worth the 5 bucks.

  56. guest-avatar

I could never imagine I'd enjoy coding on my phone as opposed to a 21" monitor. This app makes everything so easy. I can tweak my pages anywhere, anytime. Now that I'm familiar with the app, I'm re-doing two sites from scratch. Oh, and did I mention I HTML'd a Kindle book as well? Best $5 I ever spent!

  57. guest-avatar

So far, after having dealt with several HTML editors, this is doing the best. I really love the preview - especially dealing with Bootstrap. The only reason I'm not doling out five stars if that I've only been using it for about an hour. So far, so good. Great job!

  58. guest-avatar

Big issue screen does not autorotate, which would dramatically improve functionality. Would enjoy a WYSIWYG editing feature instead of just preview and source code options. I paid for this and a free wysiwyg html editor is giving this App a run for its money.

  59. guest-avatar

  60. guest-avatar

Good app, but doesn't connect to cloud storage like Google Drive. And since android from Kitkat on doesn't allow you to save the files to SD card, I feel the cloud storage is needed. Would give it 4 or 5 stars if it could save to SD or cloud, and also if you try to save to SD, it keeps constantly coming up with a cannot save error.

  61. guest-avatar

Best html app for your phone i wish it had an opinional check box option for the text to run off the screen to the right with a zoom bar. Nice for some things. But beats other payed apps. Used it as much as notepad++. nice for on the go. P.s building a big web site on my phone i will see how much data the editor can hold. High Hopes.

  62. guest-avatar

The apps is great. Cant find alternative for it. But switching portrait to landscape surely crash the apps. HTML and CSS syntax suggested on separate file type so better to have all in one file or allow file tabs. Otherwise sure 5 star

  63. guest-avatar

Thats my first word come to my mind after test the lite version. I used the free version not more than 10 minute then quickly upgrade. finally I found very usefull apps!! Thank you for made my day brighter!

  64. guest-avatar

I have been using this app all day since installing it. I have a small personal (non-business) website and this app is awesome for performing little edits and updates. Definitely a keeper and well worth the $4.99 for the pro version!

  65. guest-avatar

Excellent app, allows me to work on the move. Some characters not coming through properly when opening downloaded pages, meaning potentially time consuming correction - "£" and copyright symbol replaced with random characters. Otherwise fantastic.

  66. guest-avatar

Please fix this. I tried submitting a bug on your website, but Ctrl+P does not properly update the html in the browser making it useless. It simply switch to the previous browser state. Once this is fixed I'd love to give it 5*s but now I've paid for something that is highly annoying to use with a keyboard.

  67. guest-avatar

Except this software need more improvement. There is no option to close certain tab. All we have is only to close all at one time.secondly, i wish mr developer will consider to add in app function to let the user know and alert if their code are not completed yet. Thank you.. *Update: I do not exactly know why , but everytime i use webmaster, a very large amount of ram will be consumed, compared to another app of the same category , the difference is too much. But the fact is that i love webmaster app more, because it has better user friendly UI. thanx

I love the clean interface and reference sheets. Auto-complete is helpful, And the preview window is awesome! I'd give 5 stars if they'd include a validator. Typos can be a real headache!

Love this app. Only point of minor frustration would be the location of the recent files versus the undo and four way bar. Its a little difficult to navigate back in a line of code without bringing the recent files window up. Other than that I couldn't possibly be happier with the app. My thanks to the developers.

The app uses a saving feature that doesn't always seem to work. In addition, it doesn't always use the most current version of a file on your device.

  71. guest-avatar

You can create a full website on this app. I don't have a computer, but am trying to learn Web Development. Life saver! Well worth the money! Files are easy to create and find! -Note 4

  72. guest-avatar

I like the concept of doing my work on mobile. But it's not making any sense as I can't share the files to the outside world. I wish this app let's me mail the files via Gmail app or upload to my one drive or Dropbox account. Please consider this feature request. Else this would be nothing more than a toy for me.

Allows me to keep my bike club website up to date while away. Easy to use on my galaxy s3. The only thing it lacks is an implementation of HTML tidy.

  74. guest-avatar

I have been comparing all IDE apps for Android devices but this one is considerably the best. But I want developers to make it better to improve it thanks

  75. guest-avatar

App crashes if you have auto-rotate on. Save function is useless, because everything autosaves as you type. This also leads to problems because you have to create backup files so you can restore accidentally deleted data.

  76. guest-avatar

This app does what I needed for some prototyping and the functionality for closing & opening tags is a huge bonus. Well worth the purchase. It would be great if you could launch chrome via function to display the HTML page to see all scripts running etc, but still a great app!

  77. guest-avatar

Spot on, does every thing I need for a quick bit of site editing / development on the go. Have even written a basic CMS style website from scratch on it. And with code completion as well!

  78. guest-avatar

Excellent. Best webmasters app I've found. Little extras that would be nice: customisable code snippets, improved selection area for 'copying'. Otherwise, really useful. Note; I have android 4.2 and 1GB ram, you have to be patient with large files. Not a problem once you get accustomed. Also, set the text size to large-makes things much easier.

    Black Elixir The Prodigy One

Just seems to have a problem with opening up a webpage, that has iframes embedded, in preview mode. Preview only opens the iframe not the webpage that the iframe is embedded in. Other then that so far so good.

  80. guest-avatar

It's a mobile app! The only things that remind me of it are the sizes of my screen and keyboard.

  81. guest-avatar

Don't get me wrong, this is a very good editor but it lacks some stuff like project generation or a more intuitive way to create the files I need to get started.

  82. guest-avatar

This tool is quite nice but missing some features. Would be nice to be able to create new folders when saving a file. The auto complere doesn't always replace what you typed upon selection but inserts the template text in the middle of the word instead. I also would like to see a way to connect the app to dropbox so I can update my live project files on the go.

  83. guest-avatar

This is a very straightforward HTML editor. The app creates HTML in a hurry. It also does a good job on CSS styling sheets. The HTML created is best viewed with the app's viewer, the Android HTML Viewer or an Opera Browser. This app works best with a keyboard with cursor keys. Smart Keyboard, Jellybean 4.3 keyboard and Hacker's keyboard can be configured to have cursor keys. Another choice is a physical keyboard. I have never found an HTML editor that can hold a candle to this one. However, on Kitkat with multiple users it only works for the owner user even if the secondary user has paid for it. The unpaid form works for all users.

  84. guest-avatar

I want to work with ftp system. When i work style sheet, i used to use well this ftp {}\... etc. If this app has button, it will be good!

  85. guest-avatar

This IDE no help to much for coding in JS, php, html5, may be detected this formats, but in my opinion if not help to coding is waste money in one app when you can do the same whit some notepad, please update the helping code for all formats no just for half html4.

Im a beginner at HTML and this actually helps my find out the functionality of da code. Thank you for creating this app. It make learning HTML easier.

  88. guest-avatar

This app has become my primary editor for all my web development. I would rate 5 stars if it allowed me to add/edit/remove the snippets. If this is already a feature I've seemed to miss it.

  89. guest-avatar

I got a problem, i can't find how to save or to load a file, the only difference i can see between lite and full version is the preview feature...

  90. guest-avatar

Its an awesome app. Consider it another tool at your disposal for web editing...it has an environment robust enough to open the doors to the web....mind you its not a sword.….yet.

  93. guest-avatar

This app does almost everything I need. I would love a built in ftp client, that would make it worth much more than it sells for now.

I like being able to touch up my projects on the go. The html and linked css can compile however graphics, images dont show.

  96. guest-avatar

App needs to upgrade to html 5 standards. Doesn't recognise in intelesense or have html 5 tags

  97. guest-avatar

Is a great application but sometimes it seems to run slowly and it would be better if I could enable javascript debugging instead of searching for errors myself.

  98. guest-avatar

This thing works as described. Well worth the $4.99 investment.

This is my current favorite code editor. Just finished setting up my first php app and did it all from my phone. Not so bad. Great for php, css and js too. Good toolbar. Like the arrow keys. Simple and effective app. Powerful enough to get the job done.
