Immerse yourself in a gripping, interactive science fiction narrative where the fate of the world depends on the choices you make.

On the outskirts of a dark town, a woman awakes in an empty motel. With no memory of who she is or how she got there, she will rely on your judgement and quick-thinking to navigate untold dangers, learn the truth of her identity, and the secrets of a mysterious pulse that seems to be the cause of it all.

The Pulse was designed to reward players for their relationship building as much as their problem solving. As you play, the game tracks the following variables in order to provide a rich and diverse experience for every player.

Health - Don't get hurt too many times or you may not make it to the end.

Trust - Making dangerous, careless, or rash decisions could mean a strike against your trust score.

Timed Responses - Some decisions will need to be made quickly. Failure to respond in time results in a strike against your overall Trust score.

Items - How much you explore is up to you, but you may find objects that will help you on your journey. Some of these objects may become instrumental.

Connectivity - How your relationships develop will have consequences. Truths and lies may reveal themselves differently depending on what kind of relationship you have with characters in the story. Who you trust and what side you end up on is up to you.

I just finished and got my first ending, and what a trip it was! Others say it is bugged, but there are times you have to wait a bit. There are a few mistakes (character knew another character's name before learning it, missing periods, capitalizing errors, etc.) but it really isn't jarring to the story. The story, speaking of, is absolutely frabjous! It keeps you on your toes, leaving you itching to continue onwards. The app itself keeps the aesthetic rolling amazingly. Truly a must-have now!!

Great interactive mini novel. The writing, story, scenarios, & sci fi are really well done overall. I would say the only slight negatives IMO would be some of the character's reactions(or lack of reactions) in a few instances which took me out of the immersion a bit. Also, I feel like this game would be significantly better if there were more than just 2 options to choose from all the time. Despite these minor issues of my the game is still very engaging & fun because of how well written it is.

Great game, had me straight away right through to the multiple endings. Yes I've played a few different ways. My 1 and only complaint is that it's way to short. It would be good to know what happens to the other world and the other characters after the fact. I played multiple times for different outcomes in 1 day. Come on team I play a couple of your games, they are really good. You just need to add more, alot more. Apart from that I couldn't be happier with the game. Well done Devs.

I really enjoyed myself playing this game. I found the storytelling to be interesting, and I even enjoyed having to wait for the next part of the story. I think it should be stated before playing the game that there are wait times (I might have wasted a few minutes wondering if the protagonist was going to come back any time soon), and I also missed out on some timed events because the dialogue was coming at me a little too slow so I just let it play (and then later realized I couldn't do that.

The story seems interesting and I get that I have to wait for a "realistic gameplay". I love the Lifeline games so much so I know the deal about waiting. However, the Lifeline games have checkpoints where you can go back without having to restart the whole game everytime you lose. I don't have time to repeat everything and wait hours and hours again and again. That's insane.

Thank you so much for making this free!! I'm currently in chapter 3 and I'm thoroughly enjoying every bit of the story. Personally, I don't find the waiting time to be too long. And everytime I am faced with a difficult choice, I'm filled with exhilaration!! The writing style is great and I look forward to what other games the devs may come up with :)) Thank you so much for making this awesome game!!

I've played through a few times now and gotten several different endings. Overall a great game and has been a pleasure to play. The only negative I have is that sometimes the game doesn't keep track of everything well. For example, a character dies but shows up at the end. Or I've never met a character in one play through, but the main character knows who it is at the end.

While it's an interesting premise, the text autoscrolls so slowly its frustrating for anyone above a third grade reading level. Even on its highest speed setting it was an intolerable plod, exacerbated by occasional forced ARG pauses. There are also occasionally awkward sentences and grammatical errors that detract a bit from the experience.

I am a huge fan of "Lifeline" type games. this one really hit home for me. great story, likable characters, and muktiple endings keep you coming back for more! really enjoyed my time with The Pulse, definitely give it a try if you enjoy interactive fiction. much less than a proce of fancy coffee, and many more hours of enjoyment!

I find it awesome to be honest. I feel like I'm actually helping someone from a call and being aware of what will I do in my choices. This is unlikely of me when I play VNs since I just kinda get the right and wrong flags. But this one is different, cuz in most cautious problems, it is instant for the player to quickly make a decision. I absolutely can't believe I had fun.
