Nomiku must have been a cash grab and run company. Almost 2 years and no update for app. Can't view recipes on android. I'm ashamed to hear even spent my time and money on this product seeing as the company doesn't even respond to their customers. So they don't care at all about the service they provide. Everyone who bought into this product has been robbed in my opinion.

I cant even sign up. It's checking the username continuously for 3 days but never go anywhere else. Cant connect to the device. Cant explore any recipe. Such a waste of money for the device. You can buy a cheaper one without the wifi thingy but works exactly the same way.

Dud. Can't even sign up. Looks like no longer supported.
D Hecker
Can't even create account in the app. Just a waste of space.

Until recently I could not get the app to connect to my sous vide unit. I had version 0.2 on my phone. I noticed that it was updated in December 2016, but the app did not automatically update like all my other apps. I uninstalled version 0.2, rebooted my phone, then installed the new version. It then connected to my unit and showed me the status of my unit. It allowed me to set and start the timer. The app still leaves a like to be desired, but it seems to be working.
Lawrence Mann
Can't connect to the device after first sync. When it worked, i set the temp and time and had to manually start the timer after it reached the cooking temp (there was no alarm or notification). It should at least start the timer automatically. Seems to be an issue for a lot of reviewers, please address this.

Garbage. Buy a Nomiku if you want the device, but do NOT buy one because it is advertised as wifi or has an app. The app does nothing. Even if you get it to pair, you cannot remotely control your device. Others have complained about not being able to log in via Facebook; creating a non-FB account doesn't work either. Whoever coded this app should be thoroughly embarrassed. Your parents and I are very disappointed in you.

I can't believe how some of the most basic functions are missing for the Nomiku. It doesn't notify when the water has reached temperature. It doesn't notify when the timer is done. It doesn't have basic meat options on cooking it medium, rare, medium well. No way to see the stopwatch on the lockscreen. Nomiku, THIS is what people see as the primary way to communicate with your product. If you can't use the app due to bad UI, why would anyone bother with such an expensive product?

In case someone at the company reads these, the app and unit do not communicate after the initial contact. One instruction can be sent after a complete reboot and then nothing else works. The android app is useless and the apple app is only marginally better. Please hire someone who can make this work or be honest and don't sell this as a WiFi enabled unit.

Easier to use the device without this app, it never syncs up. Also you can't dismiss recipes in the explorer view, I really don't need or want to see breast milk every time I open the application.
