Reviews From google play store

Way too many ads and terrible UI. Granted it's "free", but you have to endure a lot of ads to get value out of the app. There are many free apps that strategically place ads better like Google Play which do a much better job. I tend to see so many ads I forget what I was looking for in the first place, which is obviously the goal. But that doesn't make it right.

I have used Stitcher for years, more and more, and loved it. But the Android version has suddenly been accelerated to about 1.5 speed... and despite claims, the Android app has NO SPEED CONTROL. At least not on my Android 8.0 Samsung S7. Makes it VERY hard to use. If not fixed quickly I'll have to go through laborious process to set up another podcast manager. Until they fix this I advise you to STAY AWAY.

Love the Alexa integration. However, there is a big problem. When Stitcher is playing I can't use hands-free to make phone calls. I can receive a call and talk but I can't touch the earpiece then ask it to call someone. Regardless of whether or not I'm on the home screen or in the Stitcher app or the phone's screen is on or off- if I want to make a call I have to manually do it. That may not seem like a big deal but if the phone is inside my backpack or out of reach it's a pain.

Stitcher has been great for getting me into podcast (and now for bindging them). I love the new interface and the amount of control you have through various settings. I do wish there was a section for audio dramas/fictions (Welcome to Nightvale, Wolf 359, Girl in Space, 2298, ect.) instead of having to look them up online then find them on Stitcher. The app has also been freezing and shuting down a lot lately, but hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Wanna love it. I switched from Spotify for the "Play Next" feature, but the app can't seem to delete my played episodes, and after a few days of auto downloads my storage is full and I have to manually delete played eps.... Very annoying. I commute 3-4 hours per day, listening to podcasts for the majority of the drive, so there are SO. MANY. eps to delete.... I have checked and rechecked the settings. Please fix this!!

There was an update today (11-21) and since the update what normally is a fine app is completely fu©ked up. Items from my custom queue are played and still wind up back in the queue list. I have queue list ten deep and it does not automatically advance. There are five episodes from the auto play list, & I hit them to clear them out, and then they automatically reappear, even after already been played. You normally 5stars, so please fix whatever the hell you did in today's update. one plus 7pro

A month ago I would have easily given 5 stars, but not since the last update. Ever since then it's been really glichy, I have to open it at 2 times now because it closes the 1st time and now when a podcast ends it jumps back to where I started listening from instead of moving to next one. Please work on this.

I'm so mad at this app. I downloaded episodes to listen to offline, but it still used data! I usually turn off data because it does this sometimes....forget one time and you're screwed. And I didn't accidentally play regular episodes. Each podcast had to be started manually from the download area because you can't make a playlist.

For the last week and a half, all my podcasts are not streaming smoothly. They buffer and stop playing all together. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but nothing helps. I've tried using WiFi too. Not a solution. This is super frustrating because I can't listen to anything on the app anymore. 😭 Update 11-10-19: This is still an issue. So frustrating.

Hasn't worked properly for months. If i try opening it but haven't connected online recently, the app closes itself. If it does open offline, it gives me the offline error message every time i open the page after switching to something else. It's glitchy and crashes, sometimes it'll start "playing" the podcast but no sound comes out. Switching pages greatly exacerbates the issues, which makes it hard to use it in the background

App is constantly having playback issues and doesn't allow you to create multi-show episode playlists. Also, you can't rate and review shows via the app, you have to do it online. Stitcher is a joke and it's eating the podcast medium. It's basically the Tumblr of podcast apps in terms of functionality and developer competency

I have always loved stitcher but since the latest update I can't even get on. It keeps telling me it can't reach you. I have even sent you an email but got no response. I am totally bummed. It has been fixed and I am back to loving Stitcher. It is the easiest podcast player to use.

It's a pretty good app. It buffers about every 30 minutes or so, but it kills my battery. Takes about 4 hours of just listening not doing anything else for it to run out. Really need to fix it if they want this app to be better. Side note my phone won't even charge of it's playing it will slowly eat away at the battery still

Update 11/25: Good Dev feedback and I contacted CS via in-app support with Screen Recording. I suspect Android 10 bugs that I am noticing in many apps. Decided to manually copy fav playlists to PocketCasts bc volume boost feature. Update 11/19: new issue where episode does not proceed to the next in the playlist but instead either marks as read and pauses at the very last second or marks unread and restarts the episode pausing at the zero mark. Former issue now Solved: The force closes often

Broken. There are huge chunks of episodes missing, there are loading refreshing issues. Very weird. Also the interface kinda sucks. It's kind of a pain on the ass to just view recent episodes of podcasts that I follow. Very clunky. I just downloaded a different and and deleted this one.

Great until previous update. I've always used this app for streaming my podcast but after the last few updates it's gone down hill. You can no longer close the app through the notification hud and the most annoying is the streaming stops intermittently even though it looks like it's buffered enough. Samsung GS9+

Overall it's my go-to podcast app, but some features that don't work as expected & improvements to be made. Episode queuing doesn't sync between devices so switching from phone to tablet it's a hunt to try and resume the podcast I was just listening to. It would be ideal for queued episodes to sync & auto download the next 5 or 10 and prioritize that over all other downloads. Listening history also fails, and 5+ queued ep didn't always remove themselves from the queue after they had all played.

Edit: The latest update seems to have fixed the issues I mentioned Why cant this app just work?! I paid for a year of Stitcher Premium, otherwise i wouldn't be using it anymore. It autoplays after i disconnect Bluetooth, the buttons are unresponsive, and it freezes all the time.

Good app for podcasts although it seems to not work offline as promised with downloads if I switch my phone off or close the app soon as I try to get back on it, it buffers for what seems like forever even though at the bottom of the screen it says offline mode which clearly only works if you stay on the app after you turn your data/wifi off pointless feature if it's not going to work correctly and tbh it's pointless to me all round as I barely have internet so cant use the app

Has been good until recently when the app decided to be the worst & most obnoxious type of advertiser. You can now 2-3 interruptions in the middle of sentences as an advertisement screams out at high volume and ruins your favourite show. Choose another app.

Great app for podcasts been using it for awhile now. Just downloaded the newest update and won't open past the opening screen and when I try to start in offline mode even though I'm online it crashes. An auto delete played episode feature would be nice.

Was a good app, but bugs are now crippling , downloading only when your on the app rather than when a subscribed episode is made available. Won't launch with no signal. fear this is the start of minimal effort going into the app development.

I used to love this app however as of yesterday it just stopped working i deleted and reinstalled the app and i am still having problems i used to love stitcher and like even more than apple podcast especially because i could go back and listen to e ery episode of every show i listwn too now i cant listen to anything so pissed

The download settings are completely nonsensical. It should not be hard to simply download an episode, stitcher makes it very hard. It frequently stops downloading when very close to being complete, and deletes everything downloaded so you have to start over.

The Nov 5 update is buggy - my downloaded episodes appear to download, but when offline they won't play. I've been using stitcher for 6 years now, this is the first time I've had this issue. Please fix, thanks.

Requires me to login just to listen??? NO! I've used other podcast listening apps that don't require a login. Why should I use one that requires logging in to use??? Answer: I shouldn't.

Used to be great but it's constantly shutting down on its own. The new set up lags and starts the previous podcast. Really annoying, not to find a new one

Good app. But they still havent fixed buffering problem. So I have lots of downloaded podcasts that wont play. It doesnt do it with all podcasts. It varies but today most wont buffer.

Annoying as can be. Wants to start playing at all hours. With no obvious way to stop Stitcher, I had to resort to "Force Stop" in the app settings to silence it.

Works pretty well, but always seems to have a bug or two. After using as my primary podcast player for a few years, I might start looking for another.

I only have this to get behind the Earwolf paywall. The app routinely has issues updating the eps in my favorites, but most often struggles to play episodes when they're already downloaded.

Can't select and mark played for multiple (or all) episodes. Also can't add custom feeds. I subscribe to several non-Stitcher premium shows. Until these features exist, this will not be my podcast app of choice.

Meh, but it has Tanis. I subscribed because they had Tanis early. Otherwise it's pretty unimpressive. The interface is unintuitive and what premium offers is very meager. They work with cool people, but Sticher needs to reinvent, cut the fat. Hire me, I can help ;)

Terrible app, great podcasts. I really wish Stitcher Premium were decoupled from the app because the app itself is so, so inferior to every other podcast app. It takes multiple more taps to get another and things are not laid out logically at all. At the moment, I'm struggling to find where the sleep timer is. I've seen it before but it's not placed in an obvious place and there's so many dumb context menus to look through.

Used to use this app all the time. Now I can get certain podcasts to play, app crashes, "too many downloads" even after I clear my library.

This app is so disappointing. It has problems constantly and it is so slow and never seems to work like it should work. The only reason I'm still on it is because I love the idea of it and I always WANT it to work right and ad-free versions and back catalogs of my favorite podcasts are only available here. Do not get attached to this app because it will let you down. I have constant buffering problems when my wifi is full and connected. The episode I'm listening to right now won't play for more than 2 minutes at a time without stopping to buffer despite other apps, like Youtube, having no issues with connection. It makes me want to scream.

I love stitcher but this app is trash...The interface is unintuitive and clunky, the performance isn't great, and there seems to be lots of bugs that still need working out

Still can't find a decent podcast app on Android This app is filled with ads and the UI is bizzare. I gave up after learning that the basic feature of auto downloading last unplayed 3 episodes is missing.

One of the best apps for podcasts I've used. The premium content is worth it. When it works properly.

Hi Administrators I signed up for your premium subscription on 27/09/2019. I see that this has been cancelled a month later I am not sure why this has happened as I did not cancel the subscription . I am sure that the funds have come out of my account . I cannot locate any further info on Google play .. Can you please follow up for me .. I am confused as to why this would occur Thank you Suzanne

It's a nice looking app but unfollowing a podcast doesn't remove it from the episode list. Why would you want to listen to episodes from a podcast you're not following? *Update: you can remove episodes by selecting 'Limit playlist to one episode per show'. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever...

I've used this App since September 2011 and have listened to over 6000 hours of podcasts. The new UI...stinks. I don't need a mandatory: Favorites, Episodes (whatever that is) and Downloads play list. It's redundant and I should have control of that. Not to mention the Local Radio playlist that hasn't been available in years but still shows up. Don't mess up a good thing of you want to add features don't force them.

I love getting all of my podcasts here, but the fact that Stitcher does not show up on the drop down screen really sucka.

Sometimes this app just randomly opens and starts playing podcast. It's incredibly inconvenient and the app itself has a terrible layout .

I've been a Stitcher user since 2011, with 2777 hours of listening. Mostly in tht last 4 years. The app has become so aggravating now that I'm actively looking for another. The current problem is that whenever a podcast is interrupted for any reason, when it resumes it skips backwards ten minutes or more. This can be when I pause the audio, or my phone rings, whatever. And I can't even skip forward again because if I click to skip to 40:00 or so into a podcast, it will start playing at 10:00ish.

I've been using this app (currently, can't afford premium so I've been using the basic version) for a while and have enjoyed the podcasts I've found. Recently, I've gone on disability (hence, the limited income) and have suffered bouts of insomnia. The ASMR podcasts help tremendously. However, last night I was woken in the middle of a podcast by an advertisement. Surely, something could be done about the placement of the ad so as not to negate the effects of the programming.

Will not stop for Google Maps The app keeps on blasting when I drive and Google Maps tells me to turn right. So I always miss something in between. Very annoying. Also, I close all apps and the podcast is still running. It should stop when the app is closed. - I now set pause for interruptions. I did not see that there was such an option. Thank you for the response. It now works.

Update: I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and cannot play podcasts on your podcast player. Deleted, way to ruin a once-good product. Constantly buffers/crashes - I've been using Stitcher for years and listen to podcasts all the time, but it's completely unusable as of sometime before the last update. It just stops, constantly. Usually closing and reopening will get it going again, but it's a pain and sometimes doesn't work. Right now I cannot get it to work at all.

Stitcher USED to be my favorite podcast app. I listen to a LOT of podcasts. But ever since they changed it and updated it, it works horribly. It's so glitchy all the time and lags and crashes. I just don't like messing with it bc usually I'm in the car or on the go listening to pods and I don't want to have to wait for it to work. I've deleted and reinstalled 3x with no luck. Im hoping that they straighten out whatever is going on. I've been forced to find other podcast apps that work better.

I've been using this for the last 5 years to listen to podcasts, but it's been getting progressively buggier the last few months. I'm going to have to swap off of it until they have a fix for played episodes popping back up in my playlist (probably because I have to keep clearing the archive because it won't save new episodes if I don't...), Total battery drain, and constant freezing in the background. I've tried their recommended settings but it's not worth it anymore.

I tried about 3 day make something to download episodes from my favorite podcasts, but unsuccessfully at all, tried all settings, no any response

I cannot add or move individual episodes to custom playlists like I can when using the YouTube playlist system. It only puts the show but not the episode in the custom playlist. I went to the webpage and did not get assistance. If this was an option it would go along way in helping me eliminat the clutter as well as giving me more control so that I can listen to it while driving.

I really hate the new format, a lot. I can't even find a way to close a podcast completely. It just shrinks to the bottom of the screen and stays there. I want it GONE !!! It's not much to ask that a podcast could be closed fairly simply.

It's just not intuitive, I LOVE the Stitcher/Earwolf premium content SO MUCH, enough to pay the monthly fee. I like the shows I subscribe to so much that I pay for them despite the app making it borderline impossible to download and listen later to podcasts. How is it that every time I select "download episode" I find that my phone is downloading a full list of like 70 podcasts!? And then I check 15minutes or so later and the episode I selected isnt downloaded? What's even happening?!

Fair but locks you in Stitcher seems to be one of the only podcast apps to not support OPML import. Enough for me to grade it so low.

Love this app but recently it stops playing anytime another app is opened. LG stylo 7(I think) please fix this bug and immediate 5 stars

I love this app and listening to the podcasts. If it wasn't for the issue of starting me farther back in a series than I was on a regular basis when I start it, I'd give it four stars. It's tedious to go through and figure out which one I'm on because it will leave them marked as unlistened to also. It is especially annoying when I'm setting out to drive or work out to have to stop and find where I really am at. It advertises premium as better, but why upgrade when it's always back timing me?

This app has the best features and usability of any podcast app I've used so far, compared to Google play and Spotify. The ads are unobtrusive. However, it is also very buggy, and Stitcher support was not helpful. I'm going to try something else, so tired of the crashes and podcasts that won't play.

When I clear my saved playlist archive they go back into my podcast list as unplayed and it's just a ball ache marking each one as played to keep up to date. There's also something funny going on when I change between Wi-Fi and data be because the episode doesn't play from where it's paused, but sometimes half an hour earlier, not sure why. Great app though, just a couple of buggy bits

I enjoy the amount of content but the app doesn't work with my bluetooth headphones. I cant pause play through my headphones, I have to pull out my phone everytime I have to pause/play. This is a huge inconvenience for me as I work in a factory. But it's an inconvenience not a deal breaker. 3 stars for content.

I would have given 5 stars a few months ago but my podcasts keep stopping. When I try to close the app it won't close unless I restart my phone. This has been happening for a few months. Even with all the updates it's still happening.

It has crashed lately and wouldn't connect to the stitcher network, is that a bug or what?

When the app works it's perfect as most of my favorite podcast are hosted on it, however, it's buggy as hell. The app is down for at 1 day or 2 once a week for "maintenance." The only reason why I reinstalled the app after downloading (and loving) Podbean is because a newer podcast I fell in love with isn't on Podbean and I didn't want download another app and recreate my favorites list. Overall, it's an okay backup podcast app.

Brilliant app. I would have given it 5 stars if my shows' new episodes loaded onto my device as I want them to, rather than downloading to my favourite shows waiting for me to download them to my device. This makes it all tedious. Other than that, the app is highly customizable unlike many other podcast apps. The lack of video podcasts is my other gripe. Don't know if the lack of video is Stitcher's weakness or strength. In my opinion, one less star, hence 3 stars.

Very annoying to use. Will be uninstalling as soon as I finish migrating to another player. Good app except: * Doesn't always keep field. * Sometimes partially listened eps delete. * When listening to downloaded content it frequently plays EPs from a podcast I have never subscribed to, never searched for and never chosen. * Takes a long time to load. * Frequently starts playing when using MFB button on Bluetooth headsets even though other media is already playing.

I love podcasts and I used to love this app as a media platform, but after doing the update, I came across a major problem: no matter how I change my settings, I can no longer hide shows in the banner on the home page, specifically ones that contain sensitive + triggering material (ie: ep****n's face on the podcast). Before the update, I had blocked this podcast from featuring on my home page and it stayed hidden. Now I'm going to use a different app.

This app wasn't perfect but it was going OK until the last update. Now it crashes whenever I try to listen to things. Episodes I'm halfway through go back to the start and when I try to go to where I'm up to it crashes again. If anyone has a recommendation for a new pod cast App I'm going elsewhere. I can't work out how to respond to your message here sorry, but I also can't respond within the app as it crashes well before I can complete those steps.

It was great when I first downloaded it but this app has playback issues. Closes on its own if I pause and go to another app. Also seems to have issues with live streaming, takes a minute to play. Will also open on its own when I connect to Bluetooth overriding Amazon music. Also I am perplexed as to why ads play separately (b/w podcasts) when I'm listening to downloads. Also playback goes back 10 minutes when it has been paused.

Barely useable. When compared to competing apps, this is a confusing mess. Autoplay with no way to shut it off (if there is, then the settings manage to be confusing while being grossly inadequate... a difficult task). Android Auto support is a trash fire: can't access list of "downloaded" eps, and app is locked down on phone while plugged into car so my passenger can't do it either. It's simple: make the "Downloaded" filter from phone app available in Auto, and an option to unlock app in car.

This app should be called Glitcher instead. The search function is really hard to use and if there's a way to search within a specific podcasts library I couldn't figure it out. The Continue Listening section seems to work at random and it rarely remembers where you've left off or which episodes you've finished. Edits to playlists don't stick. Worst of all if you manage to find an episode and get it going a few minutes in it will make a noise like someone setting down a mic and quit playing.

Couldn't play the only podcast I downloaded the app for: "Leerburg Videos: Theory of Corrections...". There is no 'report issue' option anywhere. No help that I can find. And it asks me for my location immediately upon opening and forces u to have an account. I didn't read the P.P. (cuz 1 episode was ALL I wanted) so I have no idea how invasive this app is, but I suspect its more invasive to my privacy than I am okay with. If they abuse my email address, I will add to the review. For now I'm out

I was so excited to finally find a podcast app with the features I was looking for. Unfortunately even though I have "launch from car" and "auto play on BT connect" both turned off, the app still launches and plays automatically when connected to my car's Bluetooth. It's super annoying to have to go into the app and turn it off every time I connect to BT!

Since the launch of the new UI, I've found it harder to locate my favorite podcasts. Sometimes I even have to search for a podcast I listen to every weekday, despite having favorited it. Also, this week all podcasts are suddenly playing at about 1.5x speed and I can't find a setting to adjust it.

So frustrating!! There's a an episode I've already listened to, in a banner at the bottom of every page in the app. I have tried everything to get rid of it and contacted the developers. Still can't get rid of the bloody annoying thing!!!

I'll be listening to a podcast and after awhile (usually 30 minutes or so) it'll stop, i guess to make sure I'm stil listening, but after awhile when it does this, it'll just load up the last spot the podcast was on before my phone went on sleep mode. Is this a feature or a bug? Either way It disrupts the flow of listening and is super irritating.

I am new to podcasts in the last year or two. This is my first and only podcast app and its really disappointing. The app has broken on several occasions since I moved to premium a few months ago (mistake, obvi). It's also rather unintuitive - often have to search for basic functionality. And lately, it starts playing, randomly.

Ugly UI, bombards you with ad-like suggestions for new podcasts while making it complicated to navigate to the collection of ones you want to listen to regularly. The playlist feature is also far too prominent for how useless it is, and having to tap on an episode and view the info screen just to save/download an episode is aggravating when you need to do it many times. Pocket Casts has spoiled me I guess, and I'll be sticking with that for all my non-premium podcasts.

It's a great podcast app, but. I have to switch been stitcher and Iheartradio :(. Stitcher has tons more than iheart but sadly it will just up and stop and glitch in the middle. Wont play oldest to newest in order and will constantly go back to the most recently uploaded. And then at times, like now! Will get to the end of a podcast and have a few more epidsode and will just cut off, not play the next and then go to the next season and not have episode 1 or 2 for the next story. It's really bad.

I love it. I've tried a few other podcast apps, but I always ended up coming back.

Ever since the last update, the skip button doesn't work it just pauses instead of skipping

This is the only podcast player I've used. That being said, it had many useful features to deliver a great listen....... until the update. I had to uninstall it. And now use Google app. The update to sticher s. Format as well as its downloading behavior was terrible. Thank you.

3rd Update, October: Yet more ongoing issues. Podcasts now have to be manually removed after listening, since they are not being automatically tagged as finished consistently. Podcasts are also starting to be randomly removed from my download list, requiring me to download them multiple times. Quality of app has seriously tanked over the past several months with brand new bugs and no new features. With these problems, I do not recommend going Premium.

Normal usage is great. Could use some UI adjustments in my opinion but it's very usable. Where I have issues with it is after closing the app, if I connect an audio source like my truck or headphones it just starts playing one of the podcasts. Even if it wasn't the last thing i was listening to and while the app is technically closed. Which makes me think it doesn't actually shutdown without manually force stopping it.

THANK YOU for fixing offline mode! I am a podcast junkie and get my daily fix with Stitcher.

It's kind of unbelievable how bad this app is. I am constantly finding that episodes aren't available. Sometimes downloaded episodes don't download properly, and when that happens, the episode just becomes permanently unavailable and I just listen to it on another app. Currently a podcast I listen to isn't showing any of the episodes past August of last year. Do better Stitcher!

I'm not sure what has happened in the recent update but I have been trying to play podcasts and all of a sudden it stops and pauses the podcast with no warning every 2-5 minutes. Incredibly annoying to listen to anything when it's constantly stopping and I have to unlock my phone to press play. App never completely closes out even when I exit the app and will show notification in the top and in notifications bar with the play button. Have to restart my phone to make it go away.

Why does it stop so often? Even DOWNLODED other streaming apps do not crash like Stitcher...

Stitcher is what everyone raves about, but if youve tried other podcast players, youll notice this one sucks. There is no option only find what podcasts you subscribe to. You gotta setup playlists to find what you want to listen to. Dont try doing anything else other than listen to your podcast because the app with turn off. All the buzz about this app, and it sucks. Only good thing is i can find older episodes on podcasts that i love. Doesnt even refresh on podcast days.

They clearly care more about monetization than making a good app. I would have no problem with the ads, or exclusive podcasts to premium if the base app functioned well. But the way it is for free, why would I pay? Episodes randomly get deleted from my downloaded episodes list, it's clunky and inelegant, and it uses bandwidth regardless of if I have the episodes pre-downloaded. I'd rather use podcast addict, which murders my battery. At least it works.

Stitcher is a great easy-to-use app that consolidates all your podcasts. I would listen to far less podcast if I had to go to get individual podcast apps or whatever flavor of the Month people are jumping too. It also keeps track of all my listening hours and allows download so I don't have to use wireless data, I can just download over wifi and listen when I want!

Decent service but buggy app. It really doesn't make a lot of sense from a usability standpoint. It's difficult to do even basic things like creating a Playlist. Additionally the app rarely plays my queue properly, it will just stop playing after an episode ends or skip what's in my play next queue and play something else entirely. The android auto version has no scrubber which makes it nearly useless for anything other than hitting pause/play.

I've been pretty happy with the app, but recently it has been crashing 3-4 times in every podcast, consistently. Even the short ones. When this happens it drains my battery while trying to restart. It's really starting to get to me and if it's not fixed soon I'm going to go elsewhere for my podcasts.

This is a pretty good podcast app. I've downloaded 3 others - Spotify, Google Podcast & Podbean - & I like this one the best so far. Its easy to read, has good "separation" of podcasts thru use of color, & has lots of subjects, topics & "casters." I've only given it 4 stars bc ratings cant be left on the different podcasts, or maybe I just havent found that feature yet...:)

Used to have two default playlists: Favorites (channels you favorited) and Saved (episodes you've specifically saved). Saved playlist would automatic download. Now they did away with Saved and created two in their place: Episode and Downloaded. You have to remember to 'undownload' episodes now, or else it'll take up space. I still don't know the difference between Episode and Downloads. It went from intuitive and easy to use to needlessly complicated. I can no longer recommend this app.

Impossible to cancel. I've been subscribed to premium stitcher for months, I have tried to cancel multiple times. They have made it too difficult to cancel. Whenever I think my subscription is expiring, they go ahead and charge me again the next month. There is no link to opt out under the "manage subscriptions" tab. Maybe it's because I'm on Android? I have no idea, but it should not be this difficult to cancel a subscription I don't want and haven't used in months. Seems shady

For whatever reason when I pause a podcast, close the app, and reopen it later, the podcast restarts about ten minutes BEFORE where I left off. This is a pretty annoying bug. Please fix. I love Stitcher, but if the app can't remember where I left off, it's pretty useless to me.

It amazes me that such a shoddy app could come from a company whose **whole business** is this app. Episodes disappear randomly from my episode playlist. That list also reorders itself! My watched/unwatched and cue point data gets lost. Random downloaded episodes disappear. And I can't even exit the app with the back button anymore... it just loops endlessly. Stitcher, you never got your app working decently since the big rewrite over a year ago. :/ Get a competent developer team in place!

I've tried so many podcast apps and this one has the cleanest, most user-friendly interface yet. Easy to navigate, pleasant to look at, can save, download, and sort by newest and oldest. Simple, and great. Thanks! Having categories to browse new podcasts is amazing!!!!!

Good UI/UX but when using data it keeps on loading without playing anything.

10/2/2019 Stitcher is completely new so I'll start my reviews fresh. Today I couldn't find the app, not even in the library where deleted apps are listed. Then I reinstalled and found I needed to log in, which I don't remember doing before. I saw my playlist but needed to download all episodes again. Weren't they saved on my memory card? I don't know how to download just one episode. I tried to stream instead but that was very choppy. Instead, I streamed TuneIn which worked perfectly.

requires following permissions on your android device.

approximate location (network-based)

Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

Allows the app to view the configuration of the Bluetooth on the phone, and to make and accept connections with paired devices.

access Bluetooth settings
Allows the app to configure the local Bluetooth phone, and to discover and pair with remote devices.

Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.

control vibration
Allows the app to control the vibrator.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

In-App billing
In-app Billing on Google Play provides a straightforward, simple interface for sending In-app Billing requests and managing In-app Billing transactions using Google Play.
