To start using Sound Amplifier, connect your headphones (wired or Bluetooth) then go to Settings > Accessibility > Sound Amplifier. • Boost important sound and reduce unwanted or distracting noise around you and on your device. • Listen to conversations, or use Bluetooth headphones to help you hear things like TVs or lectures. (Bluetooth headphones might have delayed sound transmission.) • Filter, augment and amplify video and audio playing on the phone. (Available on Pixel phones with Android 10, Dec 2019 or newer system update.) • Personalise your listening experience by adjusting audio or microphone settings with the simple tuning UI. • See what’s going on around you with the audio visualisation. The app is very useful and I would like it to keep working without pause. Cuz why pause at all? Also it would be great to be able to add various mics, not just one, to amplify the sounds around me and same when it comes to noise cancelation. Edit: I just realized it doesn't work with wireless earbuds though. Maybe you can get it to work. Appreciate the app. Thanks.

The Sound Amplifier app has a very specific function and as far as I know it only does that one thing. It amplifies the sounds around the device and only plays back over headphones and earbuds, it seems. I don't need this app for now, because I've got very good hearing. It would be great for my grandfather, however, who has to use hearing aids all the time!

Having hearing loss since birth, and found this app!!! Still room for improvement, but at least better then any other apps that claim to amplify the mic. When using together with bluetooth ear peice, actually able to pass thru the voice without delay. But, will also causing me very tired after try for 10 to 20 minute. May be need to pair with a better mic? But anyhow looking forward to the apps for improve User friendly interface and easy to understand feature.

So much better than any of the ear spy type apps I've tried. It picks up sound very well, and works great with BT earbuds. Wish I could tweak the equalizer a little more but it works perfectly. I can touch my phone to a wall and hear sounds throughout my house. Couldn't ask for it any stronger. No bugs or crashes on my low end Stylo 5. ➕⭐

Amazing! I have temporary partial hearing loss in one ear and was having a lot of trouble communicating with people. It wasn't feasible to explain my hearing issues to everyone I encountered. This app was a lifesaver. There's a slight lag, but nothing too significant. Highly recommend!

Not that sure that I understood its use case. Takes sound from mic and with minor adjustments playbacks amplified sound (all of it) to headphones. It's still more quieter than real life, though my headphones usually can play music louder than the output this app produces. If this app could "separate" and emphasize voice, then it could be quite great solution for people with hearing issues.

no matter what I do to turn off access to the microphone for every app except for this one I can still not get it to work on Moto g power operating Android 10.0 Also, I have to have a email app installed in order to contact the developer without writing down the email address? Come on Google what's the deal with that? I don't like email apps.

A very perfect app! I've been using this to reduce noise in the background and it's so awesome! I recommend people use this when they're recording voices and all that..

Update: downloaded app months later to give it another shot. Now it's more disappointin. Original: Amplifies some sounds but mostly static. Fine tuning basically mutes/cancels boost. Can't even hear sounds that's in same room area with door shut (master bedroom with bathroom, door closed)

You go to play store on your phone then down load NRG player pro is built-in then you set your player up afterwards you set player up then you open sound Amplifier then click play on it then pull down drop bar on your phone it works .very powerful thanks. Every one(.2021.9.25.)
