SoloLearn is the best place to start your coding journey. You don't have to worry about ads popping out every where and premium is not forces on you. It has nice user interface and it's easy to use. All the courses are free and can be accessed offline once opened, certificate is issued after course completion. Challenges are available for you to practice what you've learnt. I can't describe all my experience in this tiny box. I highly recommend this great learning tool.

  2. Joseph Samson-avatar

apk First time ever learning a coding language and overall really enjoying it. There's been a few times were I had to read a page multiple times before I understood what was going on but the comments help a ton. I like how they allow you to run the code and fiddle with it right inside the app. Another big plus is the mobile app and the website link your account so you can go straight mid lesson on your phone to learning on a computer. Gives you a lot more control over your learning environment

  3. Aj Ford-avatar

apkpure So far I've been using this as a way to review and learn new coding languages and it's absolutely amazing, the lessons are very interactive, there's a nice and alive community, and the overall interface is very easy to use. I highly recommend this app if you're a beginner at coding or a programmer that needs a little refresher

  4. Alan David-avatar

download It's good for light learning. The exercises it presents are too simple sometimes, or require minimal input from you. With this approach I was completing modules way too fast and later I had a hard time remembering the concepts I learned. Still, it's pretty good to review things on the fly, when you don't have proper tools to study at the moment.

  5. Terra Nova Rubacha-avatar

    Terra Nova Rubacha

apk download Some of the explanations are a little confusing but it is useful enough that I paid for a subscription to get rid of the minimal ads. The app lets you experiment with code instead of just filling in blanks and it allows access to lessons you've already done so you can go back if you forget something (not all of these apps do that unless they get your money first).

This is the best coding app I have ever seen. Guys! Go for it. SoloLearn is a community-based coding app so-that you can learn faster with the community help. Top of all, the courses are absolutely free. You can play with the language by making codes in the code playground. Even if u don't have a coding background like me, go for it. Everyone can learn to code. I love this app. Thank you SoloLearn ❤❤

Great app for beginner programmers . I loved this app and since I have used it I have been learning many programming languages . It also have many interactive exercises Also we can play challanges with other people joined with the sololearn community We can share our codes , post , and also quiz . It also have the pro version but I haven't bought it so can't give you review about it Overall a very great app . Keep it up 😃😃😃

  8. Jesper Berg-avatar

Trying to learn python and I can say that if you just have the interest to for real do that you really can here. It might be that I just can't use it that well, but one minor thing is that the coding surface is kinda rubbish and hard to learn. But I would imagine that you also have a computer to code on so not a big deal

  9. preeti dudi-avatar

It's amazing for light learning. For depth you have to do more effort. But for beginners it's quite helpful. The programming problems are interesting. Modules are easy and don't need much effort to complete.

  10. George Malayan-avatar

This app has been amazing from the day I installed it. I used this to study many many programming languages and now I am web developer. The major drawback is about the PRO version... You need to pay if you want to learn for FREE...

  11. Aki-avatar

Too many adverts. I would say it is an invaluable resource to have. But it every answered question is rewarded with a pavlovian "ding" and an unskippable advert. Detracts from the whole experience and interrupts the flow of learning

  12. Shivdeep Sharda-avatar

This is a review after using only three days. Until now it has been very good. Nice interactive app. Continous exersices with lessons. It keeps your interest up by small games challenges. Overall superb app.

  13. THE RENAISSANCE-avatar

Very good. Really learning lots of stuff and will recommend it for all individuals wbo love to code at the comfort of their homes. It so soo good. Sololearn is the best coding app to ever have as beginners and even intermediate and those at the advanced level

  14. PARNITA SAINI-avatar

It is an amazing app. Specially for beginners but even programming veterans will also find something to learn here. Everything including the strong community, integrated lessons and nice IDE(code playground) makes this app a complete package for learning programming.

  15. Ryan Wernig-avatar

The app is good for people who are realy want to code on their phone or pc if you are on the go you may want to get it on your phone but it does have adds in the app like if you want to pay to get it without adds if you are reading this i am not telling you this is a bad app i am trying to tell you that if you want to code learn more and more and you can get a jobs like being able to know what the code you put in your code and if i where you do the HTML again and again to. Get it baked into mind

  16. Jayden Tan-avatar

It is very fun and interactive, i can challenge others and learn at the same time, and is the best for beginners to professionals where they can sokve problems like makinh a password validator.

  17. Ludek Malinovic-avatar

    Ludek Malinovic

Great free programming mini-courses. One issue is that the courses are too short and too basic with few real-world examples. Overall, it's awesome with a beautiful community.

  18. Saunak Dey-avatar

A big issue is that the 'Code Coach Problems' have HIDDEN TEST CASES that they use to test your code. So you never know WHERE YOU HAVE GONE WRONG, if one of those doesn't satisfy.

  19. Kiruthika U-avatar

Its a nice app to learn coding, even if you don't know the basics, no problem, its so much helpful for me to learn everything, which i wish to read

I cant log in anymore. It keeps telling me to check my network provider even though my other apps work fine. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and now i cant log back in. And all this started when i updated it Please I need this restored. I need this app

  21. Brendan Chew-avatar

What happened to your website? Login in and doesn't do anything. Tempted to sign up for the 50% off annual subscription but seeing your main website isn't working I changed my mind..

  22. Ravi Prakash-avatar

Very good app for novice like me. It is not the only source which I look at but it provides a very good platform for further development of the skill.

  23. CoMpUtEr PrOgRaMmInG-avatar

    CoMpUtEr PrOgRaMmInG

It's awesome app for learning programming languages for free and easily. It has everything needed for learning programming like IDE,compiler, quiz, etc.

  24. Highskii Lol-avatar

This is actually a nice tutorial but all the questions are not that good though. The thing is, once you finished that lesson, you will move to another lesson resulting you to forget the past lesson. My suggestion is that every lesson should give a task to make a code regarding that lesson. If he/she completed the task, he/she will move on to a new lesson. In that way, people will remember the lesson and might apply it to another lesson or in other coding.

  25. shina arobake-avatar

Awesome app. Just started with it and it's been a wonderful experience so far. I've been having fun all the way even while learning and assimilating core programming skills. Wonderful community too 😜

  26. sports ups-avatar

Very great. Those who don't know this app I recommend u start using Solo learn now. It has improved upon my coding skills. I will be very grateful if the solo learn pro was made free for sometime

  27. AZHAGU A-avatar

Good for learning program's absolutely useful for beginners.. some times it will be crashing. That's is a only problem. Otherwise very good app.

  28. Andrew Watson-avatar

Great community, and an app that really does it all: courses for your programming language of choice, tests on theory learned, code straight within the app, challenge other users to trivia/quizzes to test your understanding, and solve real world simplified coding problems (ect.. something that will ring up the total owed for a concession stand). Extraordinary app!

  29. Eric Payment-avatar

Too much pub. Cancer pub that pop on the screen few seconds after everything else is loaded and change the layout so you ~accidently~ click on the pub. Cancerous way of doing things

  30. Farai Mafunga-avatar

SoloLearn is fantastic. The app is awesome. I learnt quite a lot. The tutorials are easy to follow for all levels of learners.

Love it, love it, love it! Brilliant app! It's free if you don't mind the ads. And ads don't really bother me on such a wonderful learning tool. Yet, I'm still planning pay money for the SoloLearn in the near future, just because how easy and useful it is. The content is very clear and easy to understand. I think that people who made this app definitely deserve the payment. A huge thank you, SoloLearn team! ❤️

  32. cutterXXX123-avatar

Great app so far, very well laid out courses that won't leave you hanging, there is a chat that people can post in specifically for that section of the lesson, and there is a ton of great information on there too, everything is in the app, the ads a little confusing at first, and so is the course layout, but once you get through it it's fine, the ads between courses are short and give you a small breather between lessons. I did the HTML, and I'm almost done with CSS, then JavaScript next...

  33. adegoke akanbi-avatar

It's a good way to keep you refreshed with coding and on your toes. The comments section is the most helpful commentaries I have seen. It's a great app and you need not pay premium to use it meaningfully. I also like the head to head challenges. I always feel challenged and have learnt a lot from this app. Thanks guys

  34. Shaina batta-avatar

It's really good!! But the thing is it's good for basics teaches you very well upto certain level.

  35. ASHWANI GUPTA-avatar

After updating this app I am facing problems its shows you are not connected to the internet connection when I am connected to the network then also.

  36. Barry Kramer-avatar

app FULL page ads ... browser is the way to go ... the way the whole thing is set up *very* basic, like for elementary school ... my search continues

It is really super coool 🤘🤘 app where anyone can access easily......I installed other apps for practice but this gives more satisfaction,,,,, as it provides good information before practice, hints for program solving and discussions with group of learners for clear understanding. So, I think it is a cool way of learning @ home as it is 💯% online course.....👍👍👍👍

  38. Delphian Ramadhan-avatar

    Delphian Ramadhan

I'm not installing this for institutional purpose, just trying to do something new, so I don't know how you guys would value this app. But so far I use this app, it's quite helpful for me as a commoner to learn to code. So yeah, in my opinion, this app is worth to install.

  39. Vitus Graule-avatar

Nice, desciptive and easy tutorials to get the basics for a programming language. I only tryed out Java-tutorial jet. Might have more features i did not use jet, like challenges/tasks from the community and content developer. I would recommend this app but i also thinks it is hard for beginners (without any knowledge). Use the app to recap knowledge and play around with different languages (python, java ,...)

  40. Minase Fikadu-avatar

This app is really good it teaches you to code from the scratch the only problem with this app that i would love to see changed is that it is not that much challenging and leads you to forget what you learnt so i think it should have some exercises to help learners master the concepts. The rest is all good.

  41. Mrjeey Edits-avatar

The app is good but please consider making the English used a little bit basic for some users who don't understand English that well and also the examples and quizes provided after a lesson are a bit complicated, please keep in mind that some of the learners are complete begginners, otherwise, thanks for your good work.👍

  42. Emereonye Christiana-avatar

Very interesting, a little bit user friendly especially for people with little idea of HTML but might seem difficult for a novice

It is amazing platform to learn languages at home ... It makes our coding skills more powerful through quizzes and many more challenges ...

  44. Dabel Hesh-avatar

I really love this app. It's really easy to understand From zero now I know a bit about coding. Thanks. I really appreciate it.

•In challenge Please add : a reason why this option/answer is correct. •And also add select all ->copy option after finishing a challenge.

  46. Marc Salamoun-avatar

For every one who wants to learn any Programming languages, Well, this app is definitely for you! Explanations are so clear and easy to understand, fun quizzes, very big, helpful community where you can ask questions and get answers, I really don't know what to say!! SoloLearn is really, the best app you can find to learn programming, period!

It is a very helpful app for me to learn about computer programming. It is easy to understand the lessons here. Anyway, I hope that if I am learning offline, I could run the codes (which are in C++, Python. Not HTML) withiut connecting it to the internet. Keep improving, SoloLearn!

amazing application for learning programming. They also give opportunity to earn certificate. If you are willing to learn programming, install it now!

  49. Moreira Peres-avatar

Brilliant, what an amazing way to learn. Great flow, excellent examples, informative and well structured courses. Challenges are difficult on a mobile phone, and often contain questions not based on course material, so rather gain some experience in application of the course material before attempting the challenges. Overall the best multi platform for learning I've discovered.

  50. Gadget Guru-avatar

Loved it. Thanks for providing such a beautiful and free platform for learning. I will surely love other apps from you... Keep up!!!

Absolutely amazing ! I was always too overwhelmed about learning to code but the app really simplifies concepts and motivates you to continue on 😁

  53. Yusuf Lawal-avatar

This is the best programming app that i have ever seen in my life. Sololearn explains everything so easy and it is not hard to understand

  54. Bobby Naik-avatar

Everything is fine but , developer should improve the compiler. Just look at Decoder aap compiler take some inspiration also some or predefined function and header file is not working like #include

  56. Avishek Devnath-avatar

    Avishek Devnath

Best app self development as a programmer. Great interface. Great teaching method. Great developers. Thank you. ❤

  57. Ryan Gray-avatar

SoloLearn is a really good app. I used the segregated apps that they had before this one that unifies all their courses. The idea is great, but I've encountered more adds in an hour on the new app than I have the entire time using the divided apps. (Slightly exaggerated but you get the idea.) I don't mind advertising here and there in a free version of an app. That's fair, but I just found it a bit excessive.

  58. Aminu Musa Uba-avatar

Wow!!! this is indeed amazing, I really enjoy learning coding through it, it's one of the best learn to code application I ever known, it teaches me bit by bit. One problem with it is that it contains one or two bugs that are really becoming a stone in my tea cup, I will be glad if those bugs are addressed to reach the maximum need of young programmers.

  59. Joshua Ellis-avatar

While SoloLearn is far from perfect for beginners (I am talking specifically about c++), it is a great resource for me personally refreshing my programming knowledge. Anything not covered in the basics can be made up for by the community. The social media style hub they've created, is really unique and the only in app social features I've ever used. The broad range of languages and compiler features is amazing too. What's most impressive is that it's all apart of the same application.

  60. From the Best-avatar

This is an incredible app. This app gives you an amazing experience. And I think this app will be at the #1 on play store. If you want to learn coding I think this is the best platform. However in very some places it does not explain properly, but these are fewer.

  61. rishabh srivastava-avatar

    rishabh srivastava

Overall app is OK to learn basic level coding on any platform. But the random challenges in a language you nust started to learn are not optimized at all. For a beginner, sololearn challeneger asks me the last lession question. Big time optimization needed. Very unhappy with that. Might give 1 star if this happens more than once again and will uninstall the app

  62. Olowojoba Oricha-avatar

    Olowojoba Oricha

Solo learn is the best it has a friendly UI and it contains everything you need to learn programming. 👌 cheers

  63. Matthew Henkel-avatar

Not that helpful. Walls of text to read with minimal programming. Ads after every section are obnoxious.

  64. Lord Bogus-avatar

My rating includes what I find unsatisfactory (not the prices) in this app, regardless of how it compares to its competitors. This app is probably the best for learning C# (what I used it for) and even the best for many other languages and concepts. I compared it to a bunch of others at the top. The community is very large and that includes many users who participate in contributing new lessons and answers to questions, including many experts.

  65. ias sani-avatar

Keep up the great work! Most importantly make the app free as it currently is. Trust me of people are really happy with the free features of the app, they WILL NOT hesitate to buy the premium version as well. Kudos to your team for this!

Its really really nice can learn from starting...many languages on one platform...can discuss with peers...have efficient forum....I loved it.

  67. Shahil chavan-avatar

Easy to learn all programming languages in SoloLearn app and easy to understand all the syntaxes with examples. Best coding app to learn any programming language.

  68. Jony-avatar

I am speechless... For the first time satisfied with an app from play store. Hats off to the creator, his creativity and the idea to create such a useful app. If you are determined to learn something new in the field of coding, it's definitely worth installing this SoloLearn. It's simply awesome and simple too... Even as a beginner I am not facing any issue or problem. The app has been designed very carefully and it has lots of great content. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

  69. 『_』-avatar

I used to not get time for like learning programming languages as i wanted to be programming games in future, well thank you sololearn squad, and also corona for giving me much time per day,I can easily learn most languages free and easily and it actually gets interesting with the challenges and try yoursel coding things, Am pretty happy so far!

  70. FM_DELTA-avatar

This is one of the best apps to learn most programming languages, including: HTML, SQL, JS, Java, C++ C C#, And even a few more. plus it even has courses on data science and other code related ones. Would Definitely recommend for anyone trying to learn how to code.

  71. Suchet Jones-avatar

Just been using it for a few days, but enjoying it so far. There are a lot of useful explanations in the comments section. I hope there will be problems to solve soon, because so far it has just been learning, testing, learning, testing....

  72. Laukik Shah-avatar

The best app to learn for beginners! I loved this app very much. Explained in easy language. With help of this app, I can learn programming according to my schedule! I use to this whenever I get time even while traveling in public transport. The best thing is there are no targets. You can learn with your speed. I loved this app very much.

Nothing to say anything but simply I say it is THE BEST ANDROID APP to learn coding. That's all. But I request to the developers to add more interesting things in the learning system that how to apply it in different ways and to improve its messaging system. After all this is the best android app to learn coding.

  74. Artaza Sameen-avatar

There are a lots of ad. But it's best learning app for free. Absolutely worth a pro purchase. This is the app that showed me the way to the programming world. Great place to learn with fun. You don't have to read boring texts atleast. The developers should add some more advanced contents. Like, some framework tutorials.

  75. Tiaan Muller-avatar

This app is amazing if you want to start with coding but you aren't sure where to start. It teaches you the foundational knowledge you need to succeed, and if you struggle you can always check the comments where there is always someone friendly that explained it in other, sometimes easier ways.

  76. Gabriela Kostova-avatar

Appaling customer service! I cancelled my trial version on the day it was supposed to expire. I didn't realize I was charged until a few days later because there is, you know, a whole WORLD pandemic happening! I hadn't used solo learn during that time and that could be easily seen through my app activity. When I contacted the help desk to explain the situation and politely ask for a refund, I was sent a link to their no refund policy with not even a word of apology!

Mind-blowing! The way this app teaches ,the way it lets the users try their hands on , allows them to interact with each other is unimaginable. There is nothing I can think of which can make this app better. Thank you so much for creating this Amazing App.

  78. Esorty-avatar

For beginnners and amatures in programming, this app is what you want. It teaches you codes with clear instructions and examples. There are tests to see if you manage to deeply understand the topic and the free versions' ads are not too annoying.

  79. Dr. Schultz-avatar

Best app for learning to code is SoloLearn!!! Super easy to use, and is not boring at all even after long hours of working on my computer I can still grab my phone and do some Sololearn. Informations provided in lessons are short and effective which I think it makes this app awesome. Thanks guys.

  80. Kingsley Godwin-avatar

    Kingsley Godwin

Great resource, great people. Great UI, though it sometimes takes ages to load up when it is opened, and sometimes it still ends up telling me to try again/refresh the page to see my feeds. Thought it should usually do that itself.

  81. Nekab Norbu-avatar

Good app interms of its price for pro....want to disclose the pro version but problem with mode of version is almost useless since i'm learning HTml and CSS ,the html 5 and cSs3 are locked...if htML5 put in the free class i would not even give a thought on opening the outdated one(HtmL)....

  82. Bryan Jones-avatar

Its amazing for being free. A fair amount of information can be learned. It is a great start but, by no means can this teach you everything just keep that in mind. -1 star because your asking for a rating its annoying and pointless if i want to rate something i will do it because i want to not because i am asked. Other than that this application is great for learning the basics.

  83. Chris Blasko-avatar

I turned off all notification settings from within the app. Yet I still get spam notifications to "set a goal on SoloLearn". If the notification is not immediately relevant to the user, is not a message from a contact, or is not an ongoing process (ie. music playing) then it does NOT belong in the notification bar. This is directly from the Google Play design guidelines. It's sad that a teaching platform for coding doesn't follow basic best practices.

  84. Іван Левчук-avatar

Problem after problem. Now, images from lessons aren't loading. I've never met such problems with Android apps. All the more so, i've purchased a pro account. Scr@w it. Stop answering, you are annoying, and i'm sick of it.

Quite a nice app when it comes to learning programming/coding. The SoloLearn community are great. The interactive sessions of the app makes it quite more interesting eventhough the beginners will face struggle in the beginning, the community will surely help you

Do. Not. EVER. Autoplay. Audio. Ads. EVER. Went from a solid 5 for the stand-alone C# app.. To a grudging 4 (because "forced upgrades" are annoying, even free)... To a zero for popping up a video ad and autoplaying it with audio. Do. Not. EVER. Autoplay. Audio. Ads. *Response to developer response* I am fine with ads. I am not fine with intrusive autoplay AUDIO ads. As for responding to feedback by prompting to buy the pro version, it's more expensive than Microsoft Office!

Awesome app! 😊😊😊 Great experience. It's my first time trying to code and this is the only app that gives a full interface to practice code. The recorder function is great too. I get to show all my friends and family my reaction coding for the first time. Five stars and great app. Haven't even experienced any problems so far.

Brilliant app layout & functionality. It's great that the app allows users to interact, comment, challenge & aid in the development of one's technical, communication & logical skills. The pkatform guarantees skill development using methods that are effective for solo & interactive learning preferences. Plus, the version updates keep getting better & better.

Nice platform to learn new programming languages. Even if you are not familiar with the programming language, you can still prefer this platform because it provide explanation before execution. And the best part is it also give certificate on the completion of course.

This app really made it easy to learn programming language and with different programming language in one place, you get to choose with ease whichever language you want to learn without need to download another app and learn multiple languages. Which is why i am giving a solid full five star and looking forward to the team Solo Learn for their new and innovative ways to learn programming for mere mortals like me and hopefully find a job or carrier.👍

SoloLearn is awesome, it is up there with Duolingo for my favorite apps. (Duolingo is still my favorite but it is really great) The lessons are easy to follow and go over a lot of good information. I also like how you can take user created courses. I do think that Solo could be improved though by adding more material into their actual lessons and allow the user to go further in their education of each subject within the regular courses. Also just for the record I use the Python and Sql courses.

Brilliant app, extremely convenient and I just love having the ability to program within the app itself. Even if you already know a language it's worth taking a look to refresh something or even learning some small thing you never noticed.

I'm currently about halfway through Python and I've learned a lot. The app is easy to use, the lessons are easy to understand and if you're stuck there is great advise in the comments. Looking forward to exploring more of the apps features and lessons!

Wonderful app for studying and to get known with computer languages. The other important feature is that it has a very good complier for all languages. This app also provides certificates after completion of each course and it is damn free.

Used this app to learn about web development, and I've got to say there's some serious holes in their curriculum. HTML is missing labels and for (not that big of deal) And CSS is missing Flexbox, Grid, and media queries (very much a big deal). This app is convenient, though you should not rely on it to make you a "professional level" developer.
