I enjoy using Solo learn. So far its been easy to follow with examples that you can edit and run to have a better understanding of whats happening during lessons. One downside is the feeling I have that lessons seem to be glossing over some concepts that seem fundimental to writing my own code. It may be possible im overlooking some things but otherwise I'm enjoying the overall experience and will edit this review if later lessons explain some of the things i'm still not understanding.

AMAZING! You can choose which coding you want to learn. If you have ever used duolingo before its sort of like that but a computing language. At school we had to do something on python because are topic is python and it was what i had learnt on this app so i already knew what to do. This app is amazing i recommend this app to anyone who wants to become a game designer or programmer

I really enjoy using this app, currently I'm using it in tandem with TeamTreehouse courses. I'm currently at the beginner level with no prior cs knowledge. This app is great because it walks you through syntax, and creates fill in the blank problems that really help me out. Easy to use in app code editor(code playground) is a plus. Overall well put together app and I'm very happy, afterall its free!

The app has lots of great content, a great interface, and you can learn whatever you want and at your own pace. The main problem with the app is the constant prompting to check out new features, invite friends, and overall spend more time on the app. Thank you very much, but I downloaded your app to learn one thing, (python) and I do not want to start on another programming language before I get the basics of the first one. The individual python app was much better, simpler, and had less distractions. Too bad the developers have been limiting that app. Edit: Clearly the developers of the app are not taking reviews seriously. My review of the app says that the app is very informative, and has great content, however the individual Python app was far superior. No, I do not need to be told that the individual app is going to be discontinued, I already understood that from previous reviews, and many prompts from within the app itself.

It is a great app as far as gaining knowledge and stepping a first step into programming world is concerned. Also, give explanation if got wrong answer in challenges. One suggestion to solo team is that it would be great if i can access all its functionalities on a desktop view as well.

I have lost many xp because I cannot type some answers. After reporting repeatedly , still the Sololearn did not removed the question or resolved my problem. I cannot accept any challenges as it is causing me a huge loss of xp because of such questions ,where on knowing the answer still I cannot type the answer. Now, please resolve Sololearn or I have to leave Sololearn forever.

Would have given 5 stars. The only reason I'm giving three stars is that the answers are pretty easy to guess as it doesn't allow the users to enter more number of characters than that of the correct answers. It makes me not to look at the lesson again which I'm not good at. And it would be awesome if you include flutter and Android development courses.

This is an amazing platform for studying programming for beginners. Thanks all those who are behind this work. Please don't hesitate download now and start learning edit: i use sololearn as starting point. for anying i plan to learn i first complete it in sololearn to get basic. this is the best starting point. to get indepth go for much advanced. this is not good for intermediate or experts.

I'm going well with SoloLearn. I loved it a lot and enjoying learning! But I'm unable to get output for HTML, CSS and JS codes. I don't know why... This is happening only for my codes. But for other's, the output is displayed slowly. I want this bug to be fixed asap. I recommend this to all of my friends,,, loved it and enjoying coding... And I don't want to leave it 😕

Great tutorials! I didn't expected to spend that much time in one app, but now I do. SoloLearn app is my final stop to learn programming and design. And they even have challenges, where you can compete with other members. 5 Star!

I'm using treehouse and Udemy to learn how to code, but I have to say I really like this app. Those 2 other sites I mentioned can be overwhelming. But I really like the bite size lessons they give you. Makes it a lot easier to pick things up.

the questions asked on the app are worded in a confusing way. and a lot of the examples use variables choices that make it even more confusing. there is a lot of agreement as you will see in the comments section of the app. I wish they could fix this , it be a great tool to learn. if you are not invested in it yet, I would try something else

I already had experience with other programming languages and downloaded this to learn the syntax for some basic SQL and it surprised me how useful this app has become. If you want to learn make sure to read the comments often! There are experienced programmers answering application questions that are invaluable.

I really like this app. Whenever I get an answer wrong, there is a whole community of people posting to help. Some beginners even guess what I did, so I don't feel like I'm the only one who didn't see the correct answer right away.

Absolutely stunning app. The Duolingo of code. Fantastic UI, better than many code teaching classes online. Wonderful community full of experienced programmers and fellow learners who take the time to share knowledge and help explain answers. And best of all, the courses do challenge you, frequently slipping in trick questions to make sure you've been paying attention. Highly recommended.

Solo Learn is a great app for people like me with no basic knowledge of technical jargon. I've been an Arts student through my life but recently had a sudden interest in programming and coding and Solo Learn takes me through the phase smoothly. I enjoy learning with Solo Learn. I hope to be a senior programmer in the nearest future

Seems to contain good basic information for gaining foundation level knowledge. I've only used the HTML and CSS course, and they have been helpful. I do wish there were more instruction and explanations, the lessons are very brief.

Be sure to check what you've typed, but this is a great app! You get to learn, write, and share code. You talk to other people and learn from them, also. I've been using it a couple weeks and loving it! (Started out with great knowledge on HTML+CSS and basic JavaScript, found out I knew more than I realized, but not as much as I thought.)

Constantly flashing ads makes it impossible to focus. That makes it really hard to learn. I'm sure that's intentional, to drive people to buy their paid version, but the free version is a waste of time.

The lessons are both interactive and entertaining. I suffer from bad memory due to a head injury i recived, yet im able to retain all the information i have learned so far. Very well made.
