One of the sacred chants, however, known as "Hymn to Saint John the Baptist," has resurfaced and can now be found on a CD, such as "NPR Milestones: Chant - Hymns and Sequences - Gloria in Excelsis Deo", which is available in the iTunes Store. This anthem also passes through its Latin name that is, "Ut Quéant Laxis resonare Fibris", and can be found in the CD, "Canto II" by the Benedictine monks of Santo Domingo de Silos. "The Hymn to St. John the Baptist" became known as the most inspiring and already written hymn and presents all six notes of Solfegus. Our modern-day musical scale is somewhat out-of-sync with the "Original Frequencies of Solfeggio" and therefore more dissonant in that it is based on what is called the "12-Tone Temperament System." In ancient times, the musical scale contained "just intonation." Our modern music also modulates the frequency of 440 Hz, which was changed from 417 Hz, around 1914. In addition, a 7th note was added in the form of an "SI" or an "TI", as in the "DO, RE, MI, FA, SOL, LA, TI" vocal scale, while the original Solfeggio scale comprised only six notes: "UT, RE, MI, FA, SOL, LA" In essence, almost all of the music we hear on the radio today, sold in stores, whether rock, jazz, soul or classical, is atonal and counterproductive compared to the incredible transformational powers of great Solfejo tones. Our modern music is literally malaise for the human body. Each of the six frequencies corresponds to each Solfeggio, not only a note on the scale of tones, but a cycle per second in number hz, frequency and of a specific color, and finally to a certain chakra in the body.
