**ROOT REQUIRED** Android 4.4 KitKat brought lots of improvements, but enhanced security sometimes makes old good rooty apps to stop working on new OS. This app is made to fix it up! With SELinuxModeChanger you can switch SELinux between "permissive"(it was used in android 4.3) and "enforcing"(new mode in kitkat). Just select the button to apply. Script will be execututed automatically after every reboot and will set selected mode. Simple and stupid :) **it's pre-alpha, so expect bugs. I've tested it on Galaxy Nexus with 4.4 - everything works fine for me. If it doesn't work for you - mail me. The more info I get, the easier to develop fix**

maybe this app supposed to work as it says, but sadly, I am using note 3, and dev already said that this app might not work on samsung devices, so I can't say anything... I still give you 5 stars, but please, fix the compatibility for samsung SM N-900 (international note 3), lots of my apps cannot running after upgraded to android 5.0 I am forever in your debt if you can fix this...

So I installed xposed on cm 12 and it doesn't work with the kernel set to enforcing! Used this to switch modes, works like charm! After changing the mode you need to soft reboot from xposed and boom!

I have a Galaxy S4 on which I just installed a Lollipop ROM. It broke the main functionality of one of my most important apps. SELinux Mode Changer allowed me to switch to Permissive mode, restoring the functionality of my app.

That's all I needed. Get into permissive mode to remove some of the bloatware. Then reset enforced mode. Hopefully now I can make a few more tweaks to Lollipop that I couldn't before.

Excellent app, you made Viper4Android work on my device, I am forever in your debt! Thank you sooooooo much! Edit: Also allows use of 3rd party kernels on ROMs with Theme Engine 😎

Once I upgraded to lollipop some apps started to fail, arliberator, and screen standby, this fixed it!

Saved me tones of trouble. Essential for rooted devices.

So I installed the Google Play Edition ROM for the S4 (Verizon NC5) and Chrome and Safestrap were crashing but when I changed it to Permissive with this app it fixed everything! Thank you

Does exactly what it is meant to, without any hassle. Shame Google are banning it.

On my Nexus 6 w/ 5.1, I set it to permissive so Viper works. After a reboot, it reverts to enforcing.
