    Very cluttered interface full of unnecessary settings, and the Galaxy store is completely broken. On top of that, it doesn't have much needed basic features like file management, or the ability to add reminders remotely on Galaxy active 2. Seriously Samsung, I'm a fan of your hardware but you guys are really behind in the software department. I mean, as a novice developer, even I could've made something MUCH better than what is being offered here..

    galaxy wearable samsung gear app Notifications won't load on the app. So I'm not getting notifications on my watch. Uninstalled and reinstalled app, multiple times. Still happening. Tried emailing about this issue but got nothing. Giving a 1 because this problem is causing my watch to not work as it should and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do. Is there another app I can use to connect to my watch?

    ios This app does its job, but first: - You must give literally every permission, or it won't even run. No, you don't need calendar, contacts, notification, location, phone and storage permissions to switch the ANC toggle on your headphones. - you must install a separate app for each wearable... You already have storage permissions, can't you just download the data needed instead of making me download a separate app?

    apk App doesn't really do a lot but is required to use a Samsung watch with Samsung Health app (which is no longer displaying heart rate on exercise after last update of Galaxy wearable, related?). Updates seem to be mandatory, this is a pain when you connect ready to head out to exercise using a Galaxy watch and then have to wait for the app to update before it will work, why can't I postpone the update to a time that is convenient to me?

However, I kinda hate how phones like the Pixel 4 XL (my current phone) can't access some Samsung exclusive features (such as the low lag mode) when this shouldn't be a problem. Other than that, really great app to use as a companion to any Galaxy Wearable!

    I don't know if it is related. But keeps prompting to update. Ends up my galaxy buds+ right side keeps either 1. Battery drains super fast or, 2. Cannot connect to my phone. Samsung. I am very fed up and frustrated. Went 4x to the service center for repairs, end up my galaxy buds+ only works for 1 day before the same issue happens again. This is the 5th time... Luckily, i have decided not to purchase the samsung watch and that might be the best decision i ever made.

    Very intuitive U/I that facilitates watch customization. Still learning the watch and its capabilities, so there will be more details to follow. Recommend auto-backup become an opt-out feature rather than opt-in; the Active 2 watch goes through occasional resets as it loses the ability to connect. The profile should be backed up by default unless otherwise directed.

    My Gear watch went from working freely for 3 days at a time to just over 5 to 6 hours in battery saving mode after the previous update. The latest update has not fixed things. If not fixed soon it will end up in the recycling, and last gear watch ever. I am so sad as I loved my watch. Please give an option to roll back the updates and go back 2 weeks until you come out with a fix. Miraculous sudden failure in a watch just as latest model released. No fixes or updates so pls don't buy this dud

    Serious connection problems with my Gear 2 after the update. Had to restore watch to factory settings, which deleted all my fitness data to get it to work. Annoying. Still disconnects from phone intermittently and when I try to reinstall previously downloaded apps to my watch, Samsung apps says connect phone and try again - when the watch is already connected. And you can't uninstall Galaxy Wearable anymore. The only option is to disable. Not happy.

    Unreliable all 3: galaxy wearable, watch active 2 and samsung earbuds. When they work- they work fine, but you never know, when there will be disconnection problems(app can not connect to watch or phone, ear bud can not take a call ect, so it might not work, when you really need it to work....) Honestly - gadgets are still more as a toy then a tool...

    As many have already written, the recent update has made my Galaxy watch unwearable. The battery drains in less then two hours and if I attempt to use Samsung Pay, it will freeze and close the app. The most frustrating part of this update is the lack of response from Samsung. If I wanted my request to resolve an issue ignored, and left feeling that my basic needs are not being met, I would call my ex-wife.

    Initially i was impressed at its precision and how the step count wouldn't go hay wire by just slinging your hand, but the recent updates have just screwed it all up. Neither the step count nor the heart rate readings are accurate. I can measure bp using a watch i bought for 1/5 of the price. Please bring a nice update that resolves the issues and hopefully adds some good features. Also the battery gets sucked away too quick, even for it to last 2 days i have to turn off most of the functions.

    Major Battery drain, functions not available and some functions only work occasionally. Battery use to last for days. Now I'm lucky to get a day out of my active 2 watch after last update. Notifications are random when they want to come through. No support for my active 2 watch ecg like promised instead samsung blocked it's use unless you own a Samsung phone. Would not recommend any of their products after this huge let down. Customer service was of no help.

    It's simple and intuitive to use. Had no problem with it whatsoever, so far. Even the transition from a smartphone (S9) to another one (S10) was seamless and quick. Can't find anything bad about it, really. And I guess the 1 star reviews are just isolated cases, but they still have to be addressed, anyway.

    When I first got my Galaxy active watch it worked quite well lately I have been finding that my watch disconnects from my phone often and it drains the battery really really fast. I've also noticed that I'm not getting any notifications anymore. I was getting notifications last week and I don't know what changed.

    I mainly wanted to be able to check and respond to text messages. I'm able to do that, awesome! What's the point of being able to call from the watch if I have to talk on the phone? It doesn't track my steps correctly. I wore it to bed one night because it tracks your sleep patterns, I guess. The watch said I took 82 steps.

    Sensor issues need solving on the Active 1. The watch isn't always able to realize that its on or off the wrist. So you spent time flipping the watch waiting for screen or the heart beat sensor to turn off. At times after having the watch lay on a surface for hours, you pick it up and see the heart beat sensor has been on the entire time... draining the battery

    It's just not seamless, everytime the watch get disconnected or I connect my Bluetooth headphones, it's so difficult to get it connected again to my watch. Everytime I have to restart my phone. My watch goes disconnected for days now cz I don't bother to restart my phone and open the app and press connect every time I use my wireless headphones.

    Useless. Been using the app with my watch for a while now and with every update it gets worse. Content which I find useful keeps getting removed such as the helpful weight maintenance aspects of calories in and out. Now with todays update I can't even get the calories burned widget. This is what I bought the watch for and now it's nothing more than an expensive step counter. Expensive mistake on my part but I will be returning to Fitbit asap.

    It's good but it needs some additions. Things like the goodnight mode need to have a programmable schedule. The do not disturb function has it, why not the goodnight mode? It's such a pain to go through the menu and search for the damn thing just so the stupid screen won't light up in my face while sleeping.

    I have been experiencing a rapid battery drain issue as well. The phone is unable to connect to the watch which is subsequently draining the watch battery. I can only get them to connect after disabling Bluetooth on all devices, rebooting and then re-enabling Bluetooth again. This happens frequently because I don't always have the phone next to the watch. Let's hope this update on Oct 1 2020 resolves the issue.

    I really like this app, i have had no problems with it except one where it wouldn't connect, so i just uninstalled then re-installed and everything worked perfectly fine after that. The only feature i would love to see is a specific equalizer for the galaxy buds, that would be pretty neat rather than the simple "bass boost, normal, etc." Still love the app and what it has to offer!

    October 6, 2020 Again the app won't connect to my device. This app is fine, except every few months it decides just not to sync and then it is infuriating! March 26, 2020 Not sure what happened with the app today, it won't connect to my device and now I can't even get it to reinstall after uninstalling it in an attempt to get it to work.

    I loved my watch when I first got it. Now it will connect with my phone but it will not send me any of my notifications. I have checked ALL settings so I know that my setting are not the issue. It does disconnet from the phone at just random times. My phone can be in my pocket and yet is disconnects. After resetting phone and watch it still doesnt work. I was so excited to have this watch and it worked great. Now I am seriously regretting my choices.

    I'm currently experiencing an issue where my right Galaxy bud will not connect to the phone, no matter what I do. I've tried soft resets, hard resets, restarting the app, the phone, unistalling the app itself, and nothing's worked so far. Does this have something to do with some sort of software update? If you could reply to this, it would be most appreciated.

    Poorly engineered app. It may look nice, but stops being useful very quickly. After pairing the watch (S2), I put the watch on the charger for the next day. The app disconnected from the watch, and refused the connection. I had to unpair the watch to get any connection back. At that point, the app completely forgot I had paired the watch at all, and wanted to setup everything all over again. When it tries to run the setup again, it locks up the app during the "pairing" process. Not good.

    Similar to many of the comments, I'm having both the battery issue and the connection issue. The watch just keeps on connecting and disconnecting. Sometimes it doesn't even connect which is frudrating and keeps telling me it's disconnected. Please samsung deal with this, the plugins are driving me crazy.

    I had an Active 1 with no issues, but received an Active 2. I have spent the last 4 hours trying to just download the phone plug in through the ap and it keeps continually crashing. Extrenely frustrating. I have done everything to get it to work but I can't even get to the point where it will connect to the watch. Leaving me with a completely useless product.

    I love the interface. Easy to work with. Your phone doesn't need to be a Samsung...Just being Android is the key...What a device...What an APP...I love it. I have a concern, I hate the vibration alerting me when the plug-ins are not connecting. I want them off already.. Secondly, why does the Phone Call switch from handset to Watch?     Overall, I enjoy the Samsung Gear2. I was a long time FitBit user but they have been giving me trouble lately. I wore this Gear 2 for about 1 year, stored it away for another year, and now using it again after my Fitbit Versa broke. The Gear2 charged up perfectly and still works well after being out of use for 1 year. It tracks my sleep, heart rate, oxygen saturation, steps, fitness, and notifies me of calls. The one drawback is that it does not hold a charge (I charge it 2x/day at least)!

    ***Update 10/2- The watch just received an update today. Now, when the screen is awake, it makes an audible "ticking" sound occassionally for approx 3-4 seconds...very annoying.*** Very disappointing...Recent update: watch continually disconnects from the phone and is absorbing battery at approximately double the normal rate (for the last 3 months, I have gotten 2-2.5 days from a charge. Now, barely making it through the day). Please fix ASAP and I will change my rating.

    I have had my Watch for just over 17 months and am pretty happy with the hardware. However the software (and this companion app) is pretty bad. My device is now the second latest and it really feels like it has been dropped. Little if any updates are being rolled out and the past 2 months my watch is randomly disconnecting from my phone (it can reconnect after force closing the app) and warnings about notifications are showing up.

    Connected to buds which are ok to listen with but don't use it for talking. Worst things ever. Picks up every other sound around you for what feels like 20m more than it does your own voice, so utterly useless. The app.... not much to be said. Not much benefit provides. No custom sound options, or pre-defined but they aren't too diff from each other and painfully, the touch inputs stop working when there is an update. You're forced to update to have all functions working.

    It does not work for me on my Lenovo M10 FHD Plus tablet when connecting to my Samsung Galaxy Buds+. The app tells me I must install Galaxy Buds+ plugin and when I try to do so Google Play reports the following "your device isn't compatible with this version". Consequently this Galaxy Wearable app is of no use to me on my Lenovo tablet.

    Requires permissions for a lot of unnecessary information, such as storage, contacts, SMS messages and more. All I want is a simple app to control my earphones, not this. I cannot recommend this app, or Samsung Buds, for this reason. If you do have Samsung Buds, I'd recommend skipping the app and using them with the default settings, or deleting the app as soon as possible once you've configured your buds as you like them. Access to so many permissions is inexcusable.

    I hate this app. It's unfair and doesn't count all of my steps. Plus, Samsung Health is just as mean as this app. I've called, been hung up on, and put on hold until I had to hang up. I wait and wait for you to answer the phone, but you're so cruel. Then, I'm told to call. How much time do I have to wait on you. I paid good money for your products and you don't appreciate us.     I dont what happened but the last update on the watch os keeps disconnecting .As soon as I pick up the call from my Galaxy watch active 2 it gets disconnected and is very cumbersome to connect it again.Its so much annoying that u cannot talk from the watch when u are having both hands at work. please provide a fix for this as now my watch feels like a dumb device with no purpose

    After the latest update "Wakeup gesture" is no longer working with the "do not disturb." Why? Now the only way to stop the watch turning on is to use the "sleep" function. Now my watch needs to be charged every other day instead of 3-4 days. Samsung strikes again.

    I was given a Samsung Galaxy Active 2 for my birthday last year and it's great, although the battery drains very fast.     The Watch3 is great in many ways. I'm no techie, but it's quite intuitive to use, I have the one that does its own calls away from the phone, which I haven't managed to set up yet, and as it's started disconnecting from my phone quite a lot, even when it's in my pocket, which is an issue for me atm, the connectivity independently would be very useful. That's the one negative, in a whole bunch of positives.

    My BOSE earbuds are superior in every way except one, and that happens to be the one specific reason I choose these Galaxy buds. Size/fit.     Works well even with One Plus 8 5g! I left Samsung phone because the prices were getting out of control for what I needed, I'd owned each gen from s1 to s8 including the Note 4.     What is the point of having a smartwatch if I have to take out my phone to view messages? Only seeing the latest message is ridiculous. It makes the whole point of viewing messages on my wrist redundant. Very few people just send one concise text. Also connection issues are a constant. Have the latest galaxy 3 watch and I am utterly gutted I chose the Samsung. Until this is resolved my smartwatch is just a watch the reminds me to look at my phone.     It's been a few months since I have switched from Apple to Samsung but I honestly regret it. Samsung has the worst ecosystem and let me explain how. I turn on Night mode on my watch, my smartphone still disturbs me with notifications. I live on the fourth floor, I use the stairs 4 to 5 times a day. On Samsung Health, it says I have only climbed 2 floors. I start walking or playing pingpong and I get the exercise alert 10 mins later. Fix this or your watch is useless.

    I like the app. The only thing that irritates me is the app and Galaxy Fit reset the step counter at 2 different times. The Galaxy fit resets at 7am while the Galaxy wearable or Samsung Health app resets ar midnight. Why didnt Samsung put in a fix yet to be able to reset the step count to the wearers preference.

    I'm quite tech savy and i found the app a little repetitive. Ie across the top or down to choose a different watch face, they bring you to the same place. Intuitively i thought it would bring you to different places

    This all is pretty nice for all my galaxy devices, I've had it since 2016 when I got my first galaxy watch. Now that I have the buds and new galaxy watch3 I love being able to further customize them further!

    Used to get notifications for every app but now I get nothing apart from it letting me know someone's calling but that's only sometimes, it keeps disconnecting all the time even if my phone is with me

    Before I had 3 days battery life on my active 2 44mm watch but now with this latest update tizen version 5.5.0.1 im only getting 1day & 20 hour battery life & it dosen't show my calories anymore...... I would rather have kept the older version than this update

    Pretty easy to use, manage and customize Only thing is the app doesn't give you push notes when things like the watch or buds need updates, and Samsung pay doesn't support all cards yet

    Location: I don't like the ALWAYS ALLOW. W/ the Gear S2 it was optional. Its an invasion of privacy. Had i known i wouldn't have purchased on the feature alone. Battery life is great compared to the S2.

    Sucks buy something else! It doesn't connect with bluetooth (it's a constant on and off). The product used to work but I'm assuming the developer moved onto a new project. Looking at the reviews I am not the only one dealing with this issue. I've tried everything under the Google sun to fix the issue myself to no avail.

    Galaxy watch worked for about 2 years. Now it keeps overheating while in stand alone mode playing music. Hopefully just a bad software update.

    Poor lower sound since update for Galaxy buds. Even on high settings its too low. Before update was fine I had on normal volume level but its done a reversed in sound audio etc.

    Made the huge mistake of trying to pair my watch with my daughters phone and now it wont connect at all to anything. For and hour it says finishing pairing and nothing happens except i get a dead watch. Its crappy bc I pay extra for the line so I have the lte & bluetooth option but neither work.

    My watch was brilliant and worked great until the last update now it's always disconnecting and has an exclamation mark on the screen. There is another update now that won't even install I have to take off the app and start all over again. Disappointing especially since it used to work so well before a few weeks ago 😳

    I'm currently really bitter because I had my Note 9, Active 2 and wallet all stolen the same day not long ago. I went to try and track my devices but my watch didn't show up, I Googled it and read that Samsung smart watches can only be tracked through the Wearable app... Now this would be fine if they didn't steal my phone too. But I think okay I d/l my device back up and settings and the app will let me open it... Nope! It still asks to connect to a device no matter what!had the 44 LTE too :/

    Before the latest update, I could see individual Galaxy bud battery levels. Now they are just showing one unless you drop one back into the case. Why should I have to take one out and put it in the case just to see how much I have left? Also, why can't we see the remaining battery the case has without dropping in a bud? That should just work as long as I open the case. Like I said, it seemed better before today's update. It sucks....

    After pairing my galaxy buds, at the end of the procedure, selecting "finish," takes me back to the start of the process. UHG! This "looping' repeats over and over. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing storage (cache and data) to no avail. Samsung hasn't figured my issue out On my wife's Galaxy S9 (we both have Galaxy phones/Buds) using the same procedure, (I have the S10), she has no issue and the process completes perfectly fine. SAMSUNG, GET ON IT! Resolved! Device factory reset!

    Since last time I updated this app my watch S3 frontier freezes a lot and battery drains very fast. It has happened a lot of times that now I check and restart both the phone Galaxy S10 and watch almost every other day just to get by. I use the watch to pay and its frustrating when Samsung Pay won't open on watch. Please fix app!!!
