Voice commands not always comprehended by 'missy' doesn't recognize 'home'... sayin' 🤔, supplemental as of 2-16-19: As of 3-27-19 app has greatly improved in competency. Supplemental as of 8-18-19: Place a power 'button' next to the top 'asterisk_...(which Only activates TV...Not turn off...need to fix that feature.)9-19-19: After latest update, 'Roku channel' ...No display...a 'tail chaser'...need fix! As of 11-25-19: Roku remote as good as it can get in operation...keep it there!😎👍

It is very clear pic and voive clarity is good too. It is a free app with many channels that are both free and pay. Great app. Also roku tv is the greatest. I own one and plan on buying a bigger one.

The new software update for the Roku 4k stick is as glitchy as can be. The usability which was fine is now very beta performance. Thinking of switching to the new shield device.

Recent update wont allow me into the roku home screen. I can use the remote and channel features. Roku mainscreen in a constant load. Please fix. I love the company.

Can't power my tv from the app, & it occasionally disconnects. Aside from these small bugs I do enjoying using the app. I don't even have to point my phone at the tv to operate the app.

The app works but it sucks! For instance, you're watching something on TV. A commerical comes on in about 5-6 mins. So you grab your phone to change the channel. You have to reconnect the remote damn near EVERY TIME!!! That's beyond annoying. THEN you have to connect and reconnect for it to "catch". I'm on here every week looking for an update.

The app is not perfect, but it's likely the best to use for Roku devices. The remote function of the app is great, very responsive! Using the app's keyboard to input username and passwords can hit or missed (I don't think it's the fault of Roku but based on if the app you want to sign in for supports it). The Roku Channel in the app is not as good, quite basic. It does not support landscape whatsoever except when playing a video. This means that once a video stops playing, it reverts back to portrait (even if your phone/tablet is still in landscape).

The app is great if you want to use it to watch the Roku Channel or stream pictures from your device to your tv. Using for a remote, like i do, is a less awesome experience. When you open the app, you are on the "Roku Channel" tab, so you need to hit the "remote" tab, then you need press the button to connect to your Roku device. Fine. But when it connects, it brings you back to the "Roku Channel" tab. Then as soon as your device sleeps, you have to go do all of that again because it disconnets.

I want to like this app more. At times the private listening works great, and other times it will cut in, and out. Private listening will quit working forcing me to force close app, and restart. I've checked my wifi connection, and found so problems. Also, has tendency to freeze, or crash. Update: More problems starting. When watching shows the app randomly pauses them.

Works great, and would be a nice replacement for the remote (who ever misplaces their phone as often as we lose remotes). Only problem is there is no way to turn on the TV using this app on Android. Because the TV has to already be on in order for the app to communicate with it. Which is weird. But otherwise no other issues.

When using wireless earphones with app there is a second delay for the audio. Sound doesn't match up with lips

So glad I have the App. Many times I have misplaced my remote and used my app. Often, I just want the ease of my phones typing to input a search. Additionally, I like uploading pics to mu home screen. I've never had a problem with it working. I have several roku's, and use it on all of them. Recommend. I use android, Samsung note and galaxy

Beats the control that came with the Roku. I love that I can use my Bluetooth headphones.

App worked using the private listening the first time I used it, but not since. Tried 2 different earphones, used those same earphones with the Amazon music app and they worked fine. But with the Roku app sound is garbled and goes in and out. Also used the app in a different room with a different streaming stick plus but have the save results. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and no difference. Sad because this is a great feature to have, but it's got to work correctly!

Simple and easy to use, but sometimes lags or fails to open right away

There are good and bad points. 1. (Bad) The power button only works when turning off the Roku tv. 2. (Good) The design of said app is good, I especially like the plug in play (audio) feature is great for letting others sleep while your watching TV. 3. (Good) screen Mirror, throw a YouTube video on your tv and minimize the app.

I've never had any trouble with the app before, but I have not been able to connect to my Roku ever since the last update (10/4). No matter what phone we download the app on, it doesn't work. It either cannot find the TV at all, or it finds it but says that the TV isn't on. Both the TV and the phone with the app are connected to the same network, and rebooting them has not helped.

I'm SUPER disappointed that all my photos are bunched together. I have a galaxy s9 and my two thousand, neatly placed in albums, photos show up in one random pile. My husband downloaded the same app in his iPhone and the whole layout is different. All his albums neatly displayed to choose from. Why???? I thought Apple had Apple TV and we, Android, got Roku. Why is our interface not nearly as good? Also, which is why I'm here... NOTHING gets you to an actual customer support. All articles, Q&A

Lost my remote and my son went straight here and it has been awesome to have a phone with this App that can do this. It's really fast...but I wish I could keep this up and go on FB, messaging, and calls and not have to keep going here and have to connect every time one of these happen. But I think it might be kinda new, not sure.

Has some great features, makes viewing TV in bed much easier. But, and it's a big BUT: I have to reboot my LG Stylo 4 to turn off the app. If I don't, I'll wake up to a dead phone. It wont disengage itself from the Roku. I guess the Roku doesn't really ever switch off, even though the TV is off. So, the app is still connected (ln spite of everything i do to kill it) and thinks it's supposed to be doing something.

Does not automatically connect to my TV. Often have to restart app.

Lost the remote to my Roku TV , no manual controls, so used phone app it works great. Have not figured out how to split window or switch back and forth quickly for simultaneous use while doing other things on phone, etc. Sometimes it does not remember the TV and has to reconnect. I might get one of my old phones to put on the coffee table as the Roku remote. They are so small and easy to lose. Will clip my next one to a big piece of cardboard so it will stay put and not get carried off.

Download this for ANY Roku device! From the Roku TV to the Roku Streaming Stick! This APP allows to to control SO MUCH MORE than volume and simple selections.... You can play the audio of what your watching straight from your phone or headphones. You can set up and personalize to you and or your familia. The APP also offers music, movies, and shows that you can select and enjoy with that ANY Roku device from any other smart device. So download it, throw away or tuck away the original remote! :3

This generally works pretty well. One of the nice things is you can use your phone as a remote. You can even transfer sound from your Roku-assisted TV to your phone, which helps if there is noise in the room or if you need to go to another room for a minute but still want to.hear the TV. However, this function tends,to crash pretty often.

I started using this app a few days ago because our remote control. The app has been a godsend for sure! I actually wish I had downloaded sooner. It would have saved hours of frustration looking for the remote when the kids or I loose it in sofa, bedroom, refrigerator (yes, the refrigerator), toy boxes...or when too lazy to go get it from across the room..haha!! I would have given it 5 stars but I find I have to reconnect often. Great app!

100% ok with all my gadgets , very pleased, don't need to buy a new TV just yet, this does it all, thanks. One thing to remember, try not to pause live TV, as this can upset lip syncing. You will need to reset to sort the problem out, not good. Maybe the future models could allow recording through , say my recorder device.

So I recently purchased a Roku after using Chromecast's since they came out and I have to say that I really like the Roku. Very user friendly compared to Chromecast. I will probably be going with Roku from now on. I have not had a problem or anything that seems to happen with Chromecast. 1. Buy a Roku. 2. Get rid of cable its a huge waste of your money. 3. Start enjoying your TV like you never have before.

I gave this app 3 stars because its closed on me twice and the audio has stopped working through the headset twice and goes back to the tv audio. Other than that, after they fix their bugs and glitches I'll be giving it five stars because I do enjoy using it. Love that I'm able to do everything I need with the app. I can navigate my tv entirely through it.

I've had a Roku for a couple years now and recently bought a TCL Roku television -- IMMENSELY IMPRESSED. The integration of the Roku system and TV menus/settings is smooth & flawless! I have owned one of basically every brand of television over the years and never been as impressed with the ease of use. The small remote was a bit odd in the beginning, but once accustomed to it I LOVE it! (I understand this was more praise to Roku in general than the app itself, but I view as a package deal.)

Ok, but needs work. The remote function works well, but you cannot voice search on apps like YouTube, forcing you to use the slow letter-by-letter search. That aside, the video function for files on your phone is horrible. It only shows thumbnails and doesn't allow alternate sort function so you have to choose the video based on images. In certain menus, there is white font on a white background making it invisible to read. Please fix these issues!

I love this it works great and far easier to keep track of than my roku remote because its right there in my phone lol

Everything was working great up untill the last update. Everytime I want to watch a movie on my phone, I can't cause when I open the app and go to Roku Channel, all it does is non-stop buffering. I've tried searching for movies and they come up, but when I try to watch them, again with the non-stop buffering. Can this be resolved soon?

Works well. I have multiple Rokus in the house and it's nice not to have a bunch of remotes and I like being able to explore in the app instead of on the Roku because it's easier. I wish I could control the volume. The physical remote has a volume rocker. In some channels when I first launch them, volume controls will pop up for a second but then go away. I'll RTFM and check forums maybe I missed something with that.

This app need to be fix. It won't connect to my TV at all.

Great app, and the new release fixes the ability to sign in with your Roku account.

I do like that I can turn the tv on my phone but I hate that it always has to connect every time I wanna use it I think it should go right to the remote with no problem, its really irritating that I have to wait until it recognize my tv until it goes to the remote. I do like it though.

It's a nice app, but whenever I try to type in the text box on my mobile device to search on my TV, I do not understand how to get it to connect. The other issue is that the remote disappears on my phone and requires me to constantly click the connect button , then the cross button on the bottom of the screen to bring up the remote again. Otherwise, it's fine. Thank you!

Even though it is good to have a soft Roku remote after the physical remote died, the latest update sucks. Watching a 5 or 10 minute YouTube channel video I lose the Remote screen, find it & have to reconnect again, constantly. Never an issue before. So performance is crappy because from remote screen U have to reconnect everytime, and then I see the Latest app home screen, so I have to click on Remote just to get back to it. How do I un-do the last update?

There are a bunch of annoying issues with this app, but the worst for me is that Private Listening is very unreliable, it randomly cuts out, goes out of sync or just sounds distorted. This is with me sitting about 8 feet from my router that is 2 feet from the Roku box all in the same room. I bought this roku a while back as an upgrade to an older model mainly for that feature. Unfortunately the included Wi-Fi remote with headphone jack is garbage that constantly loses connection.

I absolutely love this contraption. I take it with me everywhere it's convenient and easy to operate. I also get the luxury of suggestively selling them where I work. I love seeing the smiles on my guest faces when they leave knowing I can give my personal experience to help ease their minds on the big switch from cable. Rock on Roku.

The first few uses the app works great but... 1. After a few uses the app causes the on screen choices to scroll uncontrollably. To fix this you must close the app and restart 2. After you select a channel, the app reverts to app's homepage which is not the remote function. To get back to the remote takes going through 3 screens. To fix this you often have close and reopen the app. I contacted the developer but no response

Roku's customer support is horrendous. I purchased 2 Roku Streaming Stick +. I tried the chat feature, no success since it's not a real person just a computer. I email Roku on October 29, 2019. It's now Nov 3, 2019 and still no answer to my questions. Roku claims a Customer Service Representative will respond to questions within 24 hours. FALSE! Parental controls do not block inappropriate content from being recommended or advertised on your system. Inappropriate screen savers can be previewed.

Finally a device and app that actually allows me to stream the Charter-Spectrum app on my TV. I've tried 4 other devices over the past few weeks but, even with some negative reviews, I gave in and tried the Roku Express 3930rw and put this app on our phones. Within about 30 minutes we were streaming beautiful live cable TV shows. The only negative that keeps me from 5 stars is that the phone app and the Roku TV screen don't show the full channel line-up. I can only see about 7 shows and then only the current hour but no more on the TV -- on the phones we can't see any menu just the up and down typical remote buttons. On my PC and on our tablet the full menu displays.

When it works, it's great! Often will not find my TV. Even when hooked up to the same internet. Have never been able to connect manually. When I am able to actually use the app as a remote, it's great. The problem being, it doesn't work the majority of the time.

Playback has been exceptional. Occasionally the ads hang.

its the best, the remote is better than the original. I found out after the original broke. I also watch some great movies on Roku. Since July 2019 I've been noticing this app's getting a little buggie. Hope they fix it soon. November 2019 sound won't steam correctly. Cuts in and out.

I think it works better than described. I've had the app and have used it through 2 TVs and at least 2 phones. Transition has also been smooth. Also, when I first downloaded the app, in the description it had said that it "will not turn on the tv"; well mine also has always turned on and off the TV too. Not sure if anything has changed but the feature has also also worked for me.

Paired with Roku Express+. Roku sends audio to Roku app on my phone for Private Listening & audio occasionally cuts out while using wired or bluetooth headphones. Solutions in Roku help didn't work. Headphones & phone, both work correctly for music. Skip back to hear missed audio & sometimes it will be there. Roku audio for TV doesn't cut out. When using Roku app for audio the show audio lowers while navigating with the Roku remote or app. Uninstalled app. LG-H93230d app:

I don't know why you messed up a perfectly fine remote control and turned it into this difficult whatever you call it. This is a downgrade. The arrows are not precise at all. Any touch on any part except the sharp end is counted as clicking as enter. In short, this product is horrible and I will use the generic one until you fox it.

Won't hold internet access for more than a few moments. Kicks phone off wifi. Then, yay, I have to fully disconnect and sign in and out to use this app just to exit the channel I'm currently stuck on. Looks like most others are doing just fine. Will uninstall, try again and rate that experience. Would love to give 5 stars.

Be warned, folks: buying a roku or roku tv requires payment information to function. Additionally, no remote for roku tv has the ability to punch in channel numbers. Thanks to roku, I can no longer tune my antenna to channel 11 manually, which I know is present but cant be seen by the tv for some reason. Move on to other streaming devices until their product team gets in touch with their users.

Have always loved my Roku devices. As useful as the app is however I can't understand why when using it for remote control it doesn't automatically pull up the keyboard in incognito mode when the primary use of this feature is for manual entry of channel credentials. This is extremely unsecure when considering most keyboards will sync this data to the cloud in clear text.

Most of the time it is fantastic. Occasionally I can't get it recognized but that's likely my problem.

this app with the roku sharp tv is such a perfect combo. Im extremly happy with this product After about a year I must say I'm still very happy with the TV but the app constantly closes or does not connect to the tv. It's extremely annoying when your in bed and can't find the remote... The apps good when it works but when it doesn't its very frustrating especially with how often it bugs out.

Less features than expected really. I thought this app would also let you take your Roku with you and steam to your phone. But it really just serves as a remote control for the Roku with a few extras, like push pictures or music to the Roku. Wow. So, unless you're going where there's a TV or monitor, you're not going to be streaming. Sort of lame really, since you're paying for the service and have the device with you.

Can't believe Roku and TCL still can't fix this problem within the expert settings not showing HDR or DV in the picture mode in app. Roku should be ashamed of themselves. Whenever you see the developers say there is an update and such and such was fixed is a total "LIE". I will keep at them and post this every where I can on forums and such till they fix it. I have had people say they didn't buy a TV cause of this problem. So ROKU and it's partnership with TV manufacturers you are losing money

Would be a much higher rating, for some odd reason lately this app will say things are in rest mode when they arent, then freeze and continue by restarting the app. Sometimes it will work after that and sometimes you have to close and reopen the app several that point a conventional remote is the better choice.

This app is a remote for roku, I have had some problems with my roku tv not wanting to turn on with it, and you must type everything one letter at a time in a world of voice rec. But it does help when you lose the tiny remote roku sends. By and large good app I'm pleased with.

Until you fix the 2 year plus bug that plagues the mobile screensaver, I can't really review this higher. It's crazy to me that with such a simple function, it is not working after 2+ years of the same issue. Please look into this.

This app is great for me since I misplaced my RokuTV remote, I just wish there were more free sci-fi/horror movies/tv. I'm on a pretty strict budget and have Tobe carefully what entertainment I chose. Some apps are outrageously expensive and to top it off have way to many ads. So Thanks ROKU. You were there for me when I needed it.

As someone who can never find the remote I'm glad this exists, but as an app this sucks. I primarily watch YouTube-the keyboard search function doesn't work which is a major pain, the restart video button doesn't work, and the rewind only works if you keep pressing it over and over. The main control pad is really weird with sensitivity-I often click over and over and it just ignores me, yet somehow it constantly thinks I am hitting okay, so I'm constantly hitting videos I don't mean to. Annoying

I own a Pixel 3A this app is useless. It crashes at the splash screen. I sent an email to Roku. I have not even received an acknowledgement of my issue from them. I guess they don't care. (Update 191101) I am able to use this app on my Pixel 3a. The issues appear to have been corrected. Thank you devs.

Seriously did NOT expect much from this, to be honest. This app on your tablet, phone or tv is awesome. 😊 Anywhere you can d/l and install the app it'll work and you'll find stuff to watch. Sadly I own a Kindle and it won't even show up to be d/l. I also tried internet goin directly to site, but the movie never played. Also when I tried to verify myself, it would not accept my info. 😵 In short; Compatibility is key, then it's awesome. 😌

Roku is one of the top 3 free streaming services I receive on my Roku TCL TV. The others are VUDU and TUBI. Excellent choice of movies, but more importantly, very reasonable frequency and duration of commercials. The worst I have encountered are the Filmrise services. Roku offers a bunch of them but they are so dense with bad commercials, often run back to back 4 or 5 times in a row. Extremely intolerable.

The private listening feature sucks. It doesn't hold on it drops constantly! Not only does it not work for my cable box function but, for the functions that it should? (the streaming services) ?? not even 2 seconds in and it drops! Garbage!! that's the whole reason why I wanted it. (Caveat, I suppose if you need it to turn on your TV and change your channels and just turn the volume up and down it's a good resource BUT if you plan on using headphones? forget about it..)

On several occasions while i'm on one of the apps with in the"Roku systems; menu/app (selection screen) ae: app selection channel, "Hulu", "Netflix", etc... sometines while i'm watching a movie or program ; the channel i'm watching will cut off before movie/program had ended and will switch back to the "Roku systems" menu/app selection screen.

Besides the actual remote having some problems from day one, this app is very good. I was even able to turn the volume down from my bedroom. I didn't have to get up and walk all the way down the hall to turn the TV down. I did it all from my phone. This is great!!

How can a simple tv remote app be so damn buggy? Closes by itself constantly, cant wake up my tv, typing doesnt work half the time on tv apps and the streaming audio is so low, its unlistenable. It's been a year Ive used this app since I'm always losing my remote. Not only has it not improved, it has consistently become more and more unstable over time. Lucky when going to right this review, i found many third party apps. Avoid this mess and go with those.

Somewhat disappointed that I can't use private listening on my device, when the remote that came with my roku box has a headphone jack, that works. I don't like that I have to reconnect to my roku box almost every time I unlock my phone. Other than that remote works fine.

I just want the free stuff. Don't even offer me junk that costs money. "Free to Install" means, "You better not trust us." (appended) OMG! The first half hour thing I watched had *18* embedded commercials! And there were more before the show even started!

excellent remote. doesn't turn on the tv, but since it's not infrared and works over wifi I guess that's just an unfortunate limitation. I'm very happy with the functionality and simplicity of this app. it's worth mentioning that I'm particularly pleased with the private listening feature, which plays sound from my TV through my phone and headphones.

This is fine, I like the new set up okay. I like that they kept the remote control screen the same, cause it would be hard to get used to a new one. The one problem for me is, I used to be able to turn my tv on with the app, but now it won't connect to the tv unless it's already on. It's a huge pain to have to get up and use the power button on the back of the tv all the time. Wish they wouldnt have changed that.

Nice features, especially being able to click on an icon to select a specific channel and an actual keyboard to use for searches, but rather annoying that the remote feature always goes back to a previous landing page and I must keep clicking connect to use the remote functions. It would also be great if there could be a way to use the app to create groups of my channels into categories such as movies, news, instructional, kids, foreign, classic TV, etc.

This is a fantastic app that lets you go to any place you want to on your Roku home page with your smart TV. You can control the volume, rewind, fast forward, lots and lots of different functions. You can use a wireless bluetooth speaker paired to your phone or headphones in your smartphone (with smart TV compatibility). Highly recommended!!!

Does what it is supposed to do, but won't start a Roku tv, only wake it. If you turn tv off you have to power it on with a remote (that died so I don't have it) or unplug and plug in again. Kind of takes the handy out of a remote. But good app once it's on.

Overall very convenient. Minimal battery drain on my device. Works from across the house. Has trouble connecting multiple devices to the same Roku TV set, and has issues with the headphone listening mode. Incredibly useful for everyone who has a Roku device.

Does what it's supposed to. But if you go a few minutes between uses, you always have to reconnect to the Roku before you can actually use the remote. Evidently, the app goes to sleep and you constantly have to reconnect. Annoying.

It's exactly what it says it is and works perfectly if I had one suggestion it would be to allow you to use phone data to work the Roku TV. So you can meet with the Roku when not connected to the WiFi like on your way home or when you're leaving.

I like this app because it offers a convenient way to control my Roku TV, and let's me find shows on my phone and play them on the TV. Really helps when you don't know what streaming service a show is on but you want to check a bunch of them at once. What I don't like about the app is that it the remote feature often disconnects, and will have moments when it can't find my tv.

I do like it but today I went to use it with ear buds but it didn't work there are days that that has been happening but today it made my TV stop the audio so every time I go to incriese the volume it shows that audio signal please fix this problem and I will give five stars but meanwhile I will give 4 stars so please fix this problem the TV still worked but I just couldn't hear anything but I do recommend that you people download it.

I tried several roku apps for remote. This is the best one. Not 100 ads every time you want to do something. The only complaint I have is I it doesn't stay in remote mode on my phone. My GF doesn't have this issue though.

The app is fantastic for allowing me to listen to content on headphones and control Roku throughout my house no matter where I am in it, but I just wished it allowed me to search for content and add it to my feed remotely when not on the same WiFi network as my Roku player.

I'm pretty sure that any app in the PlayStore could always use some type of fixing & upgrading regularly, but I can say with confidence, that fixes & upgrades or not I almost couldn't live w/out it especially because of the touchscreen remote control your smartphone screen!! Literal God sent!!! And amazingly cool & convenient...

Please fix issues with volume keys, i cannot control them when it glitches causing my volume to spike all the way to 100. My tv gets disconnected several times while using it even if i lock my phone for just 5 minutes. Havent had any issues up until now its a shame i absolutely love this app! Open paw patrol episde 4 from my phone? Amazing!

It doesn't seem to provide an option for selecting a different device. If it does it is not obvious to me how.

I absolutely love, love, love this app. It allows me to watch TV when everyone is asleep through my headphones. Just connect your wireless headphones to your phone and hit the button, whalha everyone stays asleep while you enjoy your fav show.

Haphazard. Had to start using because the remote control which i prefer to use works intermittently with less and less frequency.. It only seems to turn tv and roku on or off. The app allows me to play a movie etc. It does not keep talking though so when going back to the app it may or may not connect without closing it down and restarting it. Need to look for a new controller. Really love roku over all other devices though. Thanks roku.

A pretty good app. I do wish the remote would stay connected to the Roku. But if I leave the app for more than a few minutes I have to completely reconnect it which send me back to the homepage instead of leaving me on the remote page. It's a mild annoyance but enough to make it worthwhile to sometimes just grab the remote control that came with the TV

Works, but has serious usability problems. I have to reconnect to my Roku almost every time I use the app, and doing so always boots me to the home screen from the remote screen. This is very irritating as I only ever want to use the remote. Additionally, there should be an easier way to connect to a different roku device. There are 3 rokus in my home and having to tap 4 buttons (home -> settings -> switch roku -> select roku) to switch between them from the remote screen is a pain.

I enjoy being able to use my tv even if the original remote is misplaced. There's a feature on here that lets you watch your tv, but the sound feeds through your phone so you can hear the tv on your earbuds, but not disturb your partner who may not want to be disturbed by the sound. I can watch tv even if my husband is sleeping without him waking up.

Roku is fantastic ! It's content is unique and it is a compliment to my other subscriptions: ( Netflix and Prime). It's interface is different but initiative. The genres and categories are different but understandable; allowing me to create my own blend of content on Roku that fits with the others I already have. Great job, I will be a Roku use for the foreseeable future.

Just recently I misplaced my Roku remote and was searching back through my paperwork, because I have insurance on my device. It wasn't until I saw if you misplaced or damage your remote control, that you can download the remote app to your smartphone. Once the app was downloaded, the remote app worked perfectly with the device, so huge fan of this app. The odds of you enjoying the app as well as myself are sitting at a high standards, so go ahead and check it out for yourself.

Private Listening seems a little buggy after a recent update. Sometimes it claims it's activated but the phone isn't getting any audio, and the TV is muted. Tapping the headphone icon again doesn't do anything except tell you that it's activated, and to disable it, tap the headphones again. Except it doesn't do anything. Have to restart the Roku, and force close the app to get it working again.

Garbage app, doesnt allow me to connect to my fire stick, manually tried inputting ip address and still nothing. Would not recommend at all. Don't lose your remote guys. Or else youll struggle to try connecting your phone to no avail. For a company as big as amazon a little more thought / r&d couldve been put into this app.

I like it. I use the headphones a lot so as not to bother my family. Sometimes audio messes up and doesn't sync or randomly skips. It's not my device as I don't have this problem with any other audio/video app.

It won't stay connected. If your phone goes in to sleep mode or you have the app running in the background it disconnects. And if your on the the remote section when you click connect it sends you all the way back to the home page. Other wise it's a great app. I lost my remote a little bit ago and when its connected it works perfectly.

I love this app. The others don't compare. With the other apps you actually have to watch a commercial when you change the channel. Some apps over monetize every inch of their app. Not this one. I think this is an official Roku app. Easy to use and not silly commercials. I get enough commercials when I stream the news or Hulu. ***Get this app***

Absolutely love the usefulness of this app. I bought a small 20 dollar Roku receiver a year ago, and in our new rental home, every day the remote would disappear until we couldn't find it anymore, this app makes it so we can still use it, and multiple people can take control with their phones, plus the app has so much more control rather than using the old remote, it's instantly there! Good show Roku!

I have a TCL Roku Streaming TV. I love it, I can connect to the WiFi on my phone and then connect to the WiFi on my TCL Roku TV and as long as I am on the same WiFi setting's on both I can stream any of the free versions of the same channels as a cable box. It's like having cable for free. Thanks For Such a great Android app on my own personal mobile device. Download it from Google play store and get it from the App Store for iOS version of the same one as I have. Trust me it's worth it.

Well it will play great, then just pauses it self. Black picture. Have to reboot it. And still does the same thing. The other TV's have different streaming device. No problems with them. But on this roku the whole tim Just the time I have been typing for this review lost picture 6 times. The shows are live and not started over. I hope you can find a fix for this.
