This is an awesome device. I've never had a dash cam, this is my first and was a gift from a family member who was concerned about my poor driving no doubt. To the point, I love it! It had clear simple to follow directions, the entire set up start to finish took less than 15 minutes. The menu is easy to navigate, the picture quality is on par with what I would expect in a much more expensive camera. Night vision is also very clear. I can't say enough. Way to go Sony! 5 stars all around for me.

It worked good when I first got it now it just chooses not to record when it wants to. Every time I've loged into it because I've needed a video it has chosen to be one of the days it just didn't record I reached out to the oem and their only answer was pull the card out and put it in the computer. First off I spent the extra money for a wifi cam so I could pull the videos off with my phone and also it's not recording to the card anyway. I'm so disappointed this use to be a good company

So very disappointed with my recorder and not any happier with this app, either. I haven't had this camera for 2months until it started shutting off for about 3 to 4 seconds & coming back on, it does this ALL the time! I have no idea why? I have checked all of the connections & my husband even checked too. But I almost got t-boned yesterday and my camera wasn't even recording AND it was on! So apparently for the first 5 or 7mins of driving my vehicle, this machine isn't even recording! Lame!

App can no longer connect to dashcam Eats storage while parked. My 2011 Ford F-150 12 volt power supply doesn't power off, so there camera is constantly recording. If I select a resolution that's to high to view on my phone the simplest way is to pull the SD card and take it to my computer, even with compatible resolution it takes a LONG time to download the video. Once you do finally get the video pulled it does look good. I do kinda wish the HUD type display was overlaid on the downloads also.

Can't multitask with it, you have to stay in the app. And can't close it (or keep it out of your notifications) without force closing it

Great quality video, but only records on a loop of 1 min up to 10 mins Max... No continuous record for road trip of jeep trail ride! Doesn't have a way to even turn the loop recording off. Would not have bought if I knew that in advance!

Trash app. Never able to connect to the cam. If by some miracle you can connect, it drops the connection before you are ever able to download a video.
