There are some positives with the app so I'll start with them. I am able to communicate easily with my kid's teacher & get notifications when they upload pictures. As for the UI/UX, it's lacking. I have an Android so I don't know if that's the main cause for it not being great but viewing pictures is cumbersome. Trying to check-in/out is useless because it takes forever to load and I end up leaving. Trying to invite my spouse is also buggy. If I was the preschool, would get another app.

Updates are nice to look at, but Remini still has the same core issues. The way the site and app are coded range from decent to pretty awful to egregious. Viewing pictures is awkward. Navigating between pages can be a headache since the back button arbitrarily exits the app. Editing a post will turn all your symbols and punctuation into their html code. We use Remini as a parent communication tool at my school, but it barely works as a photo and video sharing platform. Major overhaul needed.

My kids preschool uses a branded version of this app for, amoung other things, sign in and sign outvia scanning a qr code. This works terribly. It typically takes 6 minutes and around 15 distinct attempts to work each and every time. This causes crowding and lines during check in/out. In these times that is a serious health risk. Fix your qr scanning and check in/out process!

Remini is the latest technology and communication for early childhood education. I can speak directly to my child's teacher throughout the day if needed. Especially if my kids have an "accident" or behave improperly or even love ... I like the fact that I can talk to them directly!
