By using Rakning C-19 we can all help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The app uses COVID-19 Exposure Notification system developed by Apple and Google. Once you have downloaded and started using Rakning C-19, your phone will start sharing and receive random Bluetooth IDs with other phones with the app. The app will send you notification if you have been in close contact with another app user that has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Then you can follow instructions in the app on what you should do. No one can see your identity nor your location. You can’t see the identity of those you may have been in close contact with. If you share that you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, other app users cannot see your identity. The app does not use or register any location data.

This app hangs up on the registration page for me. Not effective to ask for a mobile phone number for travelers coming into the country who may have to get a new SIM card and therefore a new telephone number. I uninstalled it, but suspect this may impact my travels to Iceland. Sad 😭

The app is adding a 1 to my phone number before my state area code. So it shows the country code twice. So I can't verify or get texts from it.

SMS not sending to me. I've checked and rechecked the number to make sure it is right and it is. I can't even get into the app.

Today's update (July 23) has fixed the "white screen" bug. I am now able to see my test results OK. Hurrah!

White screen instead of results same as the other review below. Worked till yesterday but now when you need it most, it doesn't. 12-07 Update: I wrote an email to the address on the leaflet we got upon arrival at the airport and got a reply with the (negative) test results back within 30 minutes. 14-07 Update: Still got the white screen after update. 24-07 Update: I can finally see the results! Thanks for fixing!

Failed to install it on my phone (Galaxy J5) Tried it several times and also checked settings to make sure traking/notification is allowed. But it stops at Message "Well done, Tracking is underway" and goes back to "Install App". No Gps Track sign shows up and according to batteryusage Gps-Tacking is not used. Any Ideas why the Installation failed or how I can check if it works (and why then mysterously not showing up Gps-Tracking?) TIA :-) Ps: Gave it 4*rating, because rating is required and as I can not give a review in lack of working app, I judged after the reviews :-)

App crashes (white screen) instead of showing test results. Restarting phone, clearing catche or reinstalling the app does not fix the issue. My travel companion has the same problem on different android phone. That's very bad given how important it is.

I hope it works. I only got a notification that my test results were negative in the app, but those results cannot be found anymore. People keep aski g for your test result, but they are not to be found in the app anymore..Did not receive sms.

Works perfectly for me. It doesn't drain the battery or cause any problems. The only reason I only give it 4 stars is that you need to remember not to dismiss the notification.

This app keeps crashing on my samsung s9 plus. This happens 2-3 time a week. This is a problem I have been facing, and probably all other users of newer samsung phones for MONTHS. This is a problem first reported in the summer. And had STILL NOT BEEN FIXED. Despite the imminent huge surge of infections in Iceland. This is absolutely um unequivocally UNACCEPTABLE.
