Quitch is an educational tool to better connect students with course and training content outside of the classroom. Quitch is used by universities, colleges, businesses, training providers and professional associations. Quitch uses ‘spaced repetition learning’, combatting the fact that our brains naturally forget information over time (Ebbinghaus’ Forgetting Curve), by engaging students with gamified content to continue their learning between classes or study sessions. As a University student, Quitch has made an immense difference in how I retain information for tests. Being able to practice active recall of topics from a mobile is so convenient, as I can quickly quiz myself on the train home or as last minute revision before an exam. I have also noticed the impact it has on my grades and long-term retention, as helps me actually learn the content, rather than just memorize and regurgitate answers. I could not access the apps features as once I downloaded it and clicked on it all I saw was an empty page fully white. No matter how long it took, iy never came up. (As I waited half an hr.) Very disappointed.
