I have D7. Basically impossible to connect. You have to repeat the same procedure time and time again hoping that it will eventually work. I'm deeply sorry I wasted my money on this brand. My first and last Neato. "No robot found. Please turn on your Robot Wi-Fi." When you finally make it work it's mediocre at best. Gets stuck under the sofa, goes around randomly around the apartment missing stripes of dust.

The vacuum is absolutely amazing. The app is junk. It never remembers that I have a vacuum and so I need to "add new vac" every time. It only allows 1 saved house vacuum pattern and it is "lost" often too. I am not able to edit my saved house pattern after it's complete and the no go lines are saved. You want to argue with a robot that's forgotten it exists but you just added it yesterday? This is your app. Buy the vacuum bc it's amazing. Suffer with the app bc you must.

Don't download, don't buy, please. This app has been abandoned in order for Neato to introduce an unnecessary app for the new robot vacuums they're releasing. The app is outdated, no features come in for it, and if it has anything to do with how the robot navigates around the house... It's the worst. Let me just tell you.. Neato may have been the kings when they were the first to have LIDAR mapping, but they've fallen way way behind. I'd get a $100 wyze vacuum over this junk.

Neato D7. Bug: When creating floor plan the app doesn't say it is doing so (just "cleaning"). General functionality: it does not show progress during cleaning (map of cleaned zones only available when finished). The Ecovacs app is much better for this. The neato machine however cleans better so I just have to put up with app defects.

Works great but has a breaking limit. If I try to add a combination of zones and no-go lines that exceed 11 in total, I get a timeout error. The error only flashes up for a moment and if I back out it looks like all my changes have been saved, but voice commands for any zones exceeding that 11 will not work correctly. The only other thing that would have been nice is the ability to tell the robot to go and clean just a group of zones on the schedule.

App hasn't been updated in years. Sometimes the robot will run for weeks without issue, then will disconnect and no matter what refuse to reconnect for hours or days. This is even following the instructions to put it into pairing mode. Will need to be done over and over and over. I've had to wipe out the floor plan and recreate it too many times. Will suddenly start to think it's stuck in the middle of the floor, return to the base after finishing less than half the floor plan, and say it's done for the day. When the robot and app work together, they work great. When it gets buggy there seems to be no fixing it. - Edit 06/22/2021 - Prior to writing the review already reached out to support and did so again. They simply have me do the setup process over and over and over (because it fails probably 19/20 times, until it's successful then it runs for a couple of months and does it again. Update your app

When it works correctly it is good. My device drops the floor plan on a regular basis. When this happens it starts to run, searches for the plan and then returns to its base because it cant find a plan. Very frustrating.

My vacuum kept saying it needed a reboot. Absolutely nothing I did worked and what I tried was extensive. I thought maybe an update to the app would fix the issue but since that hasn't happened since 2019 I just went to a different company. I very seldom leave bad reviews usually I don't leave one at all unless it's good. But this app and that vacuum (D7) deserve a bad rating.

please add functionality to schedule a single cleaning without it being recurring. Also, took away a star because like many others I have to reconnect the robot every couple months. Also, like many others have started it's an annoying retry process until it success at random

Garbage app. 100% sure there's no actual development or support is being done, just a bunch of low paid script dummies telling you to reset everything until any kind of problem fixes itself. The vacuum itself is nice, but the modern development cycle practices is complete and utter trash. Do not buy anything from them, in a year your app will be abandoned too, and the new one is a glitch fest anyway.
