I think this app took an unexpected, but not completely bad turn after the most recent update (adding 300 questions). If you look at some of the questions that have been added, you can see that the format doesn't match the format of the questions from the study guides and practice exams that NASM provides. Some of these questions aren't structured in the way that NASM wants you to understand the material. That being said, the app has helped me tremendously. I would just suggest that the developers get an editorial opinion from a NASM certified trainer (preferably a master trainer). That being said, just by using and looking at the app, I can definitely tell that a lot of people put a lot of time and hard work developing the app and questions. I'm taking the test in a few days and I am fairly comfortable with the material (partly thanks to this app). Whoever uses this app in it's current state will receive ample benefit; just remember to adhere to the structure of questions that NASM provides in their course material and keep that question structure in mind while studying.

I passed!! This app was a tremendous help! By doing every assignment in the course, and doing countless of these exams I felt ready and confident when I walked into the exam. I love the explanations for each answer, they helped explain each answer so I'd remember it the next time. Thank you. So glad I found this half way through my course. It was the biggest help.

I passed! This app is totally worth the expense as long as you use it two to three times a day and complete all the questions. I used the app for 10 weeks, two to three times a day and was challenged every time. This app will challenge you so much that it will increase your awareness of the style of questions you might be asked and build your knowledge on areas you might see on the test. I used it as a companion to the full NASM CPT study program and it was very helpful.

Great app! Had only a month to really cram in my studying for this but really only used the app for about a week before my test. This helped me out a ton! Gives feedback and explanations on all answers with sources from the book itself. I definitely recommend the 20 dollar upgrade as it gives you 400 practice questions which turns out to be very helpful. 800 seems like a lot but I was able to pass with 400 question upgrade. Awesome practice app and highly recommended!

I spent a lot of time finishing all the tests and getting most of them right but apparently this app by itself was NOT enough to pass the actual test (the test is so much harder and has a different structure)This app is really helpful trying to explain lots of great points but keep in mind that maybe 3 or 4 questions comes out of it so if i were you i would not spend 30+ bucks on this app instead listen to lectures, take sample practice test as much as you can, and most importantly READ THE BOOK

Love this app!!! Just took my test and passed on 10/22/18. App has about 800 questions (paid version of course)and answers/explanations to each one and where you can find in the book. This is a very handy tool but like most people would say, don't memorize the answers but know it or know the reasoning behind that answer. The test gets in depth with their questioning but with this and the study guide you should be fine. Passed on the first try. Great App.

This app is 💯% worth getting...especially the upgrade. I passed my nasm cpt exam on the first attempt and I feel that wouldn't have been possible without the additional help from this app. The way they explain the answers and show you where in the book it comes from so you can go back and gain understanding is fantastic! It's SO much better that way than just telling you the correct answer. THANK YOU to all the developers of this app. It is the best!!!

Has issues with validating your purchase of the first pack "Classic" access. Was working fine for the first day, then all of a sudden stopped working. This became a burden rather than a tool for studying. I am kinda disappointed, but at this point I just want a refund.

It was a very useful app and a great tool to study on the go. Since we are already always on our phones anyway, might as well be productive. The explanation and statistics on the questions was great. It really helped me memories the difficult terms I had on this topic.

Be scrutinizing when using this app - while it presents a great platform, with excellent variability, there are noticable questions in which the context does not logically point to the desired answer. It is also possible to encounter contradictory information to what was written in the book, large in part by, I'd imagine, over-extensive editing or communal loss of understanding toward the question itself. I recommend the book over this app, though it is still a valuable asset at times.
