lots of connection issues. Both with the locks, but also the 4g network. You never know if you can get a bike and when you have one, if you actually can return it. Update: from 3 to 2 stars. Just again had a bad experience. App says 5 bikes available, but none of them are there. There were 5 other bikes there. Called the support desk, they released the bikes, but then the app said I still have a reservation. After a reboot the app fixed itself. The app has no notion of user experience design.

What I would call a shite app. Really slow, cannot get you location half the time so you can't return the bike with our walk around like a lunatic to get the app to realise you are in fact in a Drop off location.

The app works perfectly with the locks. Within seconds I could open the lock and use the bike. Also returning the bike was a matter of parking it back, clicking a button and done.
