UPDATE (8.29.21) - The app is now working again! I had turned off Background Data for the app, and when I turned it back on again thinking that might be the issue, a few days later it started working again and has worked since then. So, I changed my star rating from 1 Star to 5 Stars. As far as asking for updates for the app (as mentioned below)...I have an older OS that can't be updated, so if MSN ever decides to update this app, I would hope they make it compatible with older Android OS versions (as in Marshmallow ;) ). ORIGINAL (8.12.21) - I have loved this weather app for years (was best one out there!), and I rely upon it often. However, recently it's been buggy, and as of today, it crashes seconds after opening and is unusable. The developers last updated this app March 2019! Apparently (and sadly) they clearly have abandoned it. Please MSN, so many people have loved and used this app...get back to making it what it used to be!

The lack of updates is starting to show, there are functions that no longer work, one of these is the widget: in the current state the search function of the widget does not work, hence the inability to add it to home screen.

This app used to be one of the best weather apps for Android. Unfortunately, it has now become entirely unusable. On my x86 tablet, it won't detect the location or show any search results for cities. It is even worse on my phone where the app simply crashes every time I open it. Wiping the internal storage to start from scratch doesn't resolve the issue. Hopefully Microsoft can sort out the bugs soon.

MS, please don't abandon this app! In the past few days, it crashes as soon as it's opened. The Win10 app on my desktop works fine, it's just the Android version that dies. I don't want to use another weather app. When this one works, it's the BEST.

App crashes whenever there are alerts. When it's needed most it can't be used. This has been happening for a long time. Is it not being updated any longer? Worst support ever Microsoft!!!

I used to have this app on my old Windows phone and it was AMAZING. I needed to have it on my Android as well, so I went ahead and installed it on my OnePlus 5T and again on my OnePlus 8. It's worked on both devices without any problems. A lot of people have had serious issues with this app on different devices, so I'm not sure if OnePlus works better or what's going on, but this is a great weather app if your phone will run it.

Used to be an awesome app on Windows Phone, but on Android... HORRIBLE. Buggy, as all get out. If there are warnings, it crashes on startup. Starting on mobile data, it won't open (Wi-Fi data is fine). The interface doesn't match the Windows version anymore. I really wish this app was fixed/updated, as it's still my favorite ad free weather app.

Weathy report is accurate most of the times. I see an issue with widget though. It doesn't give me any results while searching (it could automatically pick the location I set but it's not). So unable to use widget. An additional feature I and many might appreciate would be a live wallpaper, showing the current weather. Thanks, keep improving.

Began crashing on startup Jul 20, PM EDT /US. Uninstalled/restarted/reinstalled. Still crashes (about 1 sec or less after my local display). RIP? This app did a nice job with forecasting. Improvements would be the ability to share results to a printer, or to use landscape in order to view a longer range of days compared to the portrait mode that this app seems to be locked onto.

This use to be my goto app for everything weather but today it sucks. When will msn perform maintenance on its search function and correct the spotty favorites feature? Why not kill it if you don't plan to fix it? Please know that this use to be an awesome app better than the weather channel. MSN cannot be proud of the neglect shown for this once outstanding app.
