This app over time is progressively getting worse, it fails to load stories, then when it eventually does open you read the headline scroll down to continue reading then again, buffering and slow at uploading a full article, until eventually i give up even bothering to wait, becomes frustrating, with today's technology so advanced yet this app is sluggish.

Quite informative, I like it, even though it doesn't cover much in my area! That was then, today I have no patience with this any longer, and it's not just this, I might add, but the ads butting in, and having to agree to T&C every time I go on anywhere, really it has put me off. The whole amount on advertising is too much. Then I remembered I wasn't on the app, as I had uninstalled ages ago so I thought I better check it by reinstalling and it's better than ever as I remember. Well done!

Okay, so you get to see a news articles, but heaven help you if you want to post or just read comments! It takes ages for comments to be displayed, many times they will not show at all. Posting comments is great fun, as you will need to log in almost every time and we all love that don't we!!! On the website you see a notification bell icon, indicating if anyone has liked or replied to a posted comment, this is completely absent using the app. Not great.

Nice big improvement over the last couple of years, with a much better format and layout. Easy to use, which is a far cry from how it once was. Love the live stories whict keeps us up-to-date with events as they unfold. The only issues I have is: 1. The pictures and graphs are so small on a phone, (such as the graph for covid information) you can't see the important details as you cannot zoom in. 2. The video ads cause glitches in the scrolling and the pages upload and jump and jerks about.

Comments on news reports take a very long time to load, most time's it takes so long I just move on to something else. Constantly having to sign in, very annoying. In short it's a terrible app.

It gets annoying by all the stories about so called celebrities and news about other areas out of greater manchester. Why when I said I was not interested in celebrity news I get five articles on the subject . I want the news not drivel tried to knock down to one star no go, but I can mark it up

Great app. Constantly keeps me updated and in my job I require that. Adds are definitely there but don't take up the whole screen so you can easily work around them.
