Used to be good if you were good at keeping still. Now requires you to give email or FB or Google log in to use it. That's when it doesn't crash on start up. Bye.

apk It work excellent, im also checked with samsung health app on Samsung galaxy S9+. These two apps are similar and accurate results shown.

apk download Worked great on my BlackBerry Priv with single camera, but OnePlus phone has three. It doesn't seem to figure out which camera to use (I've tried all three individually and all at once. I rarely used the app as I purchased a pulse oximeter right after my cardiologist recommended this app.

  4. Adam Hill-avatar

Awful, awful app. Readings are irregular and way off (I'm on a Huawei p90 Pro). Tried it three times over the past year and i always uninstall it within a day. Last time 👋

  5. Angel Perez-avatar

Does not work with Google Pixel 3. Reached support they are unresponsive to several emails.over a week now. uninstalled and reinstalled works if not logged in BUT when i log in crashes and wants me to pay again. Ripped off?

  6. Jeremiah Tan-avatar

I think it is not appropriate for the app to request permission to take pictures and video. It amounts to security being breached. Most of us these days are also using fingerprint to unlock our apps specifically in relation to our banks and government services. Allowing the app permission is allowing the app to record our fingerprints too. It makes me wonder how on earth there are 10m downloads and how many security breaches? Am deleting this app from my phone now. Thanks

  7. Rosalyn Ewing-avatar

The app doesn't work. Out tells me my heart rate is 13. EVERY TIME I TRY IT!!! Stupid waste of my time.

  8. tyler kuhn-avatar

Just want to use the app but you have to login via Google. Blah

  9. Anupam Sharma-avatar

Even without placing finger it shows 56bpm...what joke is this?? Nonsense app..🤣

  10. Greg l-avatar

Used to work, latest update it just keeps resetting.

Generates too much power at the sensor and it burned my finger

This app is a game changer for my workouts! Yesterday I was searching for an app to check my heart rate, and came across this one! Not only does it check my BPM, but if you subscribe to it, it gives you daily workouts (20, 30, or 40 min.), a diet plan to fit your needs, and give you monthly reports of your BPM. It's cool that it also syncs to Google Fit. I am hurting physically, but there's no stopping me! 💪

  13. Evan Newton-avatar

I was considering paying for this app, but while measuring my heart rate, it was accelerating, breaking the 100 bpm mark, when "INVADERS FROM PLANET MOONLAND" obnoxious add interrupted my measurement and startled me. I get how ads work. I know they need to be kinda obnoxious to support themselves. It already advertises itself incessantly, like, before I'd successfully used it once. This was the second time. I can't support this.

  14. Sharon Page-avatar

I downloaded this app because I was having a lot of trouble with my heart rate. It would race and then slow down so I wanted to monitor it and keep a record. The only problem I have is that sometimes my heart rate rises and drops too fast and for too long that the monitor can't read it. Great app if your HR doesn't fluctuate too much for it to read. Would highly recommend this app to anyone who needs to keep tabs on their heart rate.

  15. Jim G-avatar

Very good. I use it about twice a day. I also added an addition of food menus and a report that's sent to my email address. I read the extras...premium.i think. ? And I thought they were worth the extra £20 or so per year. My wife thought otherwise so I deleted the extra bits. I also thought that they may NOT BE SAFE FROM A SCAM OR VIRUS LOL.😈 I LIKE THE HEART RAKE APP..I USE IT ALL THE TIME FOR ABOUT A YEAR. MY BPM 's see coming down a bit today haha. Stay SAFE N CHILLED LOL.😈 Jim.

  16. Lauri Lindschmidt-avatar

    Lauri Lindschmidt

Paid for a premium version. What a joke!! Save your time AND your money - not worth it! Will edit this to reflect customer support ONLY if my money is refunded! Customer support failed to respond to my request for a refund. If i could, I would rate this app negative 5 stars. They charge $10 per month for premium account and then dont bother with customer support....theivery at its finest!

  17. Herman Marsman-avatar

The measurements seem accurate. However, the free version is of no value. You cannot keep your results nor export these to csv. It contains too much ads, and further tries aggressively to convince you to buy premium.

  18. Kylie M-avatar

On a phone with multiple camera lens it's useless. I used this on my iPhone 4 years ago and it was pretty close to right all the time. This time with my galaxy 10 5g I can't find where I put my finger even after trying for 10 or more times thinking it was a user issue. Nope just the multiple lens don't work very well.

  19. Georgi Valchanov-avatar

    Georgi Valchanov

Somewhat does what it needs to, but will not stop asking to go premium. Go premium now. Buy premium before it's too late... On and on. No, thanks.

  20. Andrei Nica-avatar

full of ads and asks for more money. it's a health app - it should provide more if it feeds miniads that when closed (press x) open. does not use dedicated heart sensor on Samsung phones. has no standard ISO units for Europe. we don't use ft and lb, but m and kg. it's a marketing mess with 0 benefits

  21. megancal67-avatar

My quilt has 49 bpm apparently, and the graph was moving up and down when my finger was nowhere near it. That's disappointing cause I thought it was pretty accurate until that experiment.

  22. Thu Keo-avatar

Was my go to app for hr monitoring and graphing. But in recent days seem to be controlled by something. Either Google or LG maybe even MetroPCS has not done their job as far as security that suppose to protect it's loyal user. Pretty sure back logs and server logs has a slight hint or breadcrumbs on to who may have act like a terriost and crossed the U S borders and tinkle with their Homeland security OS SYSTEM. Terriost in my OS system. Restitution for app developer if they find out. :(

  23. Nonnus-avatar

Too much ads. Uninstalled it when it started to show video ads during measurement. Such kind of apps with offensive premium subscription and overstuffed with ads should not be declared as free.

  24. Adolfo Gandia-avatar

Readings would change dramatically , takes to long to read and the pop up for the premium comes up so much that I hit the purchase button by mistake and ended up charging me the app. Cancel the subscription but the only option is for the end of the billing cycle. Trying to get a refund but only way to communicate is by email. No phone number to call. Emailed them and get an email response that the email address is not found.

  25. R. Russell-avatar

Riddled with adds and useless if you don't pay a monthly subscription. It takes forever to even get a reading. This used to be a very useful app, but it's just a profit machine now.

  26. Annie Hunt-avatar

this app started well but when I didn't buy the monthly part ads started appearing in the middle of the rating. pitiful, money is t h e key to these types of free apps. i uninstalled.

  27. Nancy Rathbun-avatar

Terribly inaccurate and unstable; completely useless. It utilizes your phone/tablet camera to TRY to detect and analyze pulsations in fingertip redness. When I'm relaxing, this app displays wild fluctations of 90-127 bpm, while my fingertip pulse oximeter and my chestrap HRM both display 56-59 bpm.

  28. Royal Neal-avatar

Has pop up ads. All I was able to do was check my heart rate since I did not want to upgrade. And I don't like that I have to put my finger on my camera sensor versus my fingerprint sensor

  29. Turanis Erg-avatar

Only good for one use. After that neither the flash goes off nor the measurement works. Well done!

  30. Jani Kaipainen-avatar

It used to be good a few years back. So much more accurate. Now it's filled with all kind of extra content and it barely can get heart beat.

  31. Michelle Huss-avatar

This app shows my heart beats at 10 bpm one minute then at 170 bpm the next. Very innaccurate. If my heart was beating erractically like that id most probably drop dead. A quick visit to my GP proved my heart to be perfectly healthy and beating normally at 78 bpm. I do not recommend anybody uses this app. If you are at all worried about your heart, go and see your GP who will carry our a proper ECG on your heart.

  32. Aaron Ridout-avatar

Ok, ads can get in the way sometimes, no export to the app i use to record OBS and medicine used, but it's only one number!

  33. Richard Guzowski-avatar

    Richard Guzowski

A total RIP off! Can get same results for free from Samsung or apple. $30 + subscription recurs every year with no communication from app. Can even bill you on a expired credit card.

  34. Emma Compton-avatar

I was not impressed with this app. The ads are a little disruptive, nearly everything is locked behind a paywall, and it doesn't take an accurate reading every time. It stopped working entirely a few weeks after downloading (couldn't get it to read my heart rate at all), so I just gave up.

  35. Ayush Kaushik-avatar

Nice App. I felt good accuracy

  36. Fiorella Ballabriga Berta-avatar

    Fiorella Ballabriga Berta

It doesn't work, I have a xiamoni redmi note 7 and it's practically impossible to get a reading.

  37. Dave Lapsley-avatar

Dec 2019: Synching to Google Fit - while it does in fact finally "connect" to Google Fit without crashing, the function still doesn't work as your heart rate doesn't actually get synced to it. Google Fit has no record of any heart rate being taken anywhere. So frustrating. C'mon guys, almost there. You'll get it eventually. In the mean time, "accurate heart rate monitor" is an app that installed, loaded, and sent my heart rate to Google fit on the first try, in seconds.

  38. Allison jose-avatar

Brand new smart phone with service, used to get this app and it works fine. Now, in an emergency, it took an actual hour to download, and not as much stuff on it but a crud ton of adds. What happened to this app?

  39. Conrad Edwards-avatar

I signed up for the premium 7-day trial and I kept getting the basic setup and everytime I went for the premium option, it asked me to subscribe twice and at a higher price.

  40. D Nisa-avatar

Too many ads, takes to long to register heartbeat. It's an ok app but definitely not the greatest.

  41. himanshu pankhaniya-avatar

    himanshu pankhaniya

It is totally wrong. Showing me 55 bpm after work out. What the hell wrong with this app? Personally suggests don't use this app.

  42. John Be.-avatar

It takes your heart rate, but gave a barage of ads after that is pretty annoying. Not sure how legal it is to generate graphs based off personal health data then not allow the person to see that info.

  43. What'sit Toyou-avatar

It was riddled with pop-ups asking me to pay for the app and to sign up. The heart rate reader was accurate when it worked but most of the time it didn't

  44. Dynamic Neuropsychology-avatar

    Dynamic Neuropsychology

Awful program. Heart rate reading jumps from 39 to 83 when I'm healthy and don't have cardiac issues. Deleted the app

  45. Divyesh Panchal-avatar

Very accurate measures of the heartrate on app..i think some of the function need to implement on free version..Recommended to every active users..

Went to use and it uses the flash not the built it sensor for BPM/O² and after a few seconds I could feel the heat starting burn my finger.

  47. AL-avatar

Memory hog at 50mb. Obnoxious loud ads are forced. A lot of trouble just to read pulse. It shows a pulse ox pleth so I thought it had capability like my old Samsung did but I duped myself.

  48. Daniel Wabuge-avatar

Security Breach ~ Logged in with my Google account. A few minutes later Microsoft starts to send me emails of attempted logins on my devices.

  49. Douglas Powell-avatar

Within the first 15 seconds after opening, i was hit with four different atttempts to get me to sign up for premium. I didnt even have a chance to try out the utility of the app. If this is the kind of experience i can expect the I choose to UNINSTALL !!!

  50. Kim Hawk-avatar

Very nice apps to monitor my heart rate. At home I used omron. When I am outside this apps is the best. Never regret downloading it.

  51. lyrissa c-avatar

Every time it stops in the middle of counting down... Fail to measure heart rate. Btw my phone is also multi lens.

  52. Chris Stanley-avatar

DANGEROUS! This app is shocking. I'm on s10+ and this uses the camera flash/torch to take measurements. The intensity of the light is such that it physically burns your skin, if you leave it on for long enough. Major changes needed. Do not recommend.

  53. Robbie L-avatar

Does not give accurate readings or consistently record heart rate. I had to hold my finger over the light for so long the light burned my finger.

  54. Manekk Jain-avatar

Contains trojan android.geimini froze all my banking apps. I downloaded it again to ensure this app caused the issue and yes, it froze my banking apps again giving me error of trojan found.

  55. Hương Mai Nguyễn-avatar

    Hương Mai Nguyễn

The app took too forever to mesure heart rate Was very frustrated having a premium banner pop up every 5 seconds when I use any function other than mesuring

  56. G-avatar

Time hasn't been good to you my old friend. I've downloaded you a few times over the years now you are fill of adds prompting do this and that. You use to be such a simple good low maintenance app now you are like the woman that get implants everywhere in their body.

  57. Moto Martinski-avatar

A discrete ad bar would be fine but after a certain craftily set delay period this "free" app turned into a truly unusable as and nag fest with a stupid subscription price. I give it 2 stars because initially it seemed to work ok (as a non-medcal UN-Calibrated casual novelty)

  58. Sam Rut.-avatar

I'd like to think Its pretty accurate. I dont have an actual heart monitor to try against for perfect accuracy but it was normal to my average going heart rate. The only thing that sucked was it burnt my finger. Trying to get a heartbeat.

  59. Heather Danish-avatar

Not sure if it's just me..but I cant leave my finger on the lens long enough to get a measurement. The light from my camera burns my finger.

  60. Thomas Phillips-avatar

    Thomas Phillips

It keeps spamming me asking me for a free trial and to sign up. Also one of the ads has a fake x button that actually takes you to the ad.

  61. Dmitry Schepaschenko-avatar

    Dmitry Schepaschenko

It measures ok, when pulse is normal 50-70, but when i have it over 100, the app shows either about 60, or refuse to measure. I have Samsung A70

  62. Agar Hoss. Io-avatar

Awesome app! Worked correctly! The heart measrement was same as the heart rate onmy Huawei Band 4! Loved it!!! Dkwnload the app right away to check your heart rate instantly!

  63. Anya Feliciano-avatar

Always crashes. First during the start up then during the measurement. How bold of you to ask the user to upgrade first before even trying your service! Uninstalled after only 10 minutes. Congratulations, you hit a new low.

  64. Sammantha leesonja-avatar

    Sammantha leesonja

Abysmal. App doesn't work at all and trying to get a refund is made as difficult as humanly possible. App company denies any responsibility and passes the responsibility off to send you around in circles. I upgraded, paid and now they app is saying I have not upgraded. It doesn't even take my heart rate - it just doesn't work at all. Avoid!!!

  65. Andre Van Wyk-avatar

They make it so easy to accidentally click on the subscribe button, and they dont give refunds when you unsubscribe. I hate this type of marketing and see it as a form of a scam to rob you of your precious money. I will never use this app again.

  66. Je Woody-avatar

Would give o if possible. Doesn't say how long to leave finger on camera lens. Doesn't give instructions about anything. Uninstalling. If I wanted to guess I Would Not have downloaded the app. Doesn not do anythig! Just want to measure blood pressure & know if I need to go to hospital, but I'm not driving all the way to the hospital just to see what my blood pressure is.

  67. Benjamin Hoogterp-avatar

    Benjamin Hoogterp

Issues. Left sensor on too long, burned my finger on a Galaxy S10+. Never have that problem with built in app.

  68. Tasdiq Ahmed-avatar

It keeps flash light on and my finger was almost burning. My phone has heart rate monitor and why is this using camera? Also it asks permission to allow camera to take picture and record videos. I have u installed it.

  69. James O-avatar

First use is ok but then can't use this app unless you spend 5 min clicking through adds and pop ups everytime.

  70. Kyazze Godfrey-avatar

The app is fake, it creates a lot of heat at the lense which burns the finger completely should you insist using it.

  71. Erik Eriksen-avatar

Very good. Top precision. Using it on Moto G7. Checked against stopwatch + Samsung S5 (now my spare phone).

  72. Kirsten Oldale-avatar

does not work tried 5x and waited 10 minutes. got nothing except 16 to 45 bpm. as I am normally tachycardic this is obviously wrong

  73. Philip Chang-avatar

It hangs frequently on my Android 7 device. In opening the app, it sometimes just display a black or blank screen and nothing happens. When it works, it is not responsive. In measure mode, sometimes it will start to give readings on it's own even when I did not have my finger in the camera lens. I will be uninstalling. Thanks

  74. Margaret Hallinan-avatar

    Margaret Hallinan

It's a fake. Having read another person's review in which she stated that it even gave a measurement when she placed it on her toilet seat and on other things, I placed it on my bed and it gave a measurement of 75 bpm hahaha but true!

  75. Brian M-avatar

This used to be a awesome app. Then I updated, and they added about 50x the ads they had before. Fullscreens ads. Ads after every other menu. No longer recommended.

  76. cindy heberling-avatar

    cindy heberling

I have a duel camera on my phone when I put my finger on it and the light comes on it gets too hot to hold my finger there, otherwise it would have been a great app

  77. Allison Blouin-avatar

The ease of use is just not there. Super interrupting to a workout. Had the same heart rate after one mile in and after an uphill sprint?? Takes minutes to get a measurement to the point where my finger starts to hurt from the heat of the flash! Crazy. But hey, it's free and you get what you pay for.

  78. Randolph Haack-avatar

Careful as subscribing happens extremely easily when touching screen. No verification that it will occur.

  79. Brett Harrison-avatar

Ridiculous. Repeatedly tries to get you to sign up for the premium version and a health monitoring plan. So annoying an intrusive I got rid of it.

  80. Lia I-avatar

I have samsung10 which has a built in pulse/ox reader in camera, wanted to compare accuracy, but this app uses the actual camera flash light and I couldn't get a reading because it was burning my finger.

  81. Sarah A-avatar

Doesn't seem to work well on Huawei phones. Worked fine on iPhone though.

  82. Nicky 9s-avatar

Garbage, thing likes to pop up a premium sub button that auto bills you if you accidentally click. This app is dead to me.

  83. BearBoy Jensen-avatar

way too inaccurate. some times it simply will not measure.

  84. Chanyn Kellett-avatar

This app is very accurate. I checked my heart rate 3 ways, by taking my pulse, by using my wrist heart rate/blood pressure monitor and this app. all 3 were almost exactly the same. They were only off by 1 or 2 points each. So I would say, given how easy this is to use, you can't go wrong.

  85. Kaio Rodrigues-avatar

Just and old simple camera functionality wrapped in an astounding amount of ads for they other shady programs.

  86. matthew davis-avatar

Tried to use it and the lens on my phone got so hot it started to burn my finger. Also it only showed my bpm without paying money

  87. Kayla Geer-avatar

Accurate as far as I can tell (gives same reading as my Fitbit) but not usable. Main reason for install was to connect to Google Fit and the screen just keeps scrolling/flashing when I attempt to connect. Have to lock my screen and unlock to get out of it. Not worth keeping installed and if I can't get connected to Google Fit I'm definitely not going to bother paying for the upgrade.

  88. Abraam Cookman-avatar

Uninstalled for three reasons: 1) Way too many ads, the app experience was super pushy & intrusive, downright obnoxious. 2) Too many other functions that I have no use for and can't access because I refuse to pay for premium (eg; meal planner, workout tracker, etc). If all this app did was check heart rates, I'd be happy. 3) Google Fit integration is broken. This is really unfortunate because the whole reason I installed in the first place was to get some heart rate data into Google Fit. Fix these two issues and I might reinstall, the actual heart rate measurement functionality is good. Everything else is quite terrible.

  89. Kathy Farrey-avatar

Wow you REALLY want people to upgrade. Can't do anything without asking TWICE. No thank you. Needs polishing, and I found another app that works better anyway. Your app asked me for age & gender when it first loaded, then it didn't save the info. I took my first reading, and it asked for my age & gender again. Then it made me scroll thru the calendar all the way back to 1964. Not cool. Please give me a keypad. I know how to type. 👋 bye

  90. Rangadurai TCA-avatar

Even after 30 minutes it was not completing it's analysis. Thoroughly useless app. I am removing the app.

  91. Chiew Pang-avatar

I tried this after reading a very favourable report on it, but what a disappointment. It started brilliantly, although the readings seem lower than the other two I have. And then, after a week or so, it became a useless piece of junk, practically. It took a long while to get a reading - had to reboot it several times. Now, it doesn't do anything at all. It turns on the flash, consuming battery, and not reading. The other two apps work fine. It was as though it tries to hook you (working fabulously in the beginning) then when it fails to convince you to fork up for a subscription, it stops working.

once i got a smart watch, no longer needed the app. I got a notice of the auto renewal was coming up. I could not find any link on how to stop payment. I noticed the app had the download button for install so I assumed they developer knew I no longer have the app on my phone and so he/they would not charge me. They did. Still can't get rid of the possibility of being charge in the future and want a refund, but that to is not on the web site. At 80 years of age, we get frustrated with trying to search sites for information that should be there. Even access to help is not available. So I blocked my google account and will no longer use it to pay for anything.

Nice app. However lots of commercials and expensive to buy, or actually can't buy but expensive in-app purchases and to buy time limited license. Creators seems to think they have created something very valuable, however its just a simple little app with ONE useful function, to measure your pulse. It should be free and have a few commercials, in that case I would rate it 5/5

Within seconds of opening this app, I was asked to go premium and rate it 5 stars. So here are your 5 stars.. Minus 1 for annoying ads. Minus 1 for asking me to rate it on the first open. Minus 1 for asking me to go premium. Minus 1 for not letting me delete my account from within the app. As for reading my pulse? It seemed pretty accurate. I'm just not going to use it. Uninstalled.

So many ads popping up constantly. Once I started getting political ads I uninstalled and found a better app. Not worth your time.

Do not download this scam !!!!!! Charged for premium which never arrived. App developers un - contactable. Google Play absolutely useless aswell as regards getting a refund. Give instructions that don't work. I will never purchase anything on Google Play again - buyer beware

This can't be 100% accurate. Samsung s9 definitely has a scanner for taking reading this app completely ignores that. I burnt my finger a few times trying to use. The actual lense however did a reading, but its like why when its not made for that. During the reading I even got 135 bpm for a second before the final reading and I was laying down.
