Fantastic app! Follow the instructions in the description for how to log in using "long lived access token" for the newer versions of HASS that supports LLAT. The best part is the wiget functionality! Thanks Johan for the great and hard work! <3 Disregard from the negative reviews related to the login part, one need to read the instructions to understand how to use the app first.

Nice just like the original, the problem is that it's not staying in sync with the server. When i use Alexa or anther app to turn on a device the widget from this app does not update the status consistently. if that's gets fixed i would pay for this app. and yes websockets is on. The app Ariela keeps sync perfect but no dimming or color change abilities from their widgets

In the description for the app its clear says that you dont need a User! "The application uses Websocket API to access HomeAssistant, this means that you don’t log in with your username and password, instead you authenticate with a token or via the legacy API password. See HomeAssistant Websocket homepage for more information."
