Getting it to work wasn't obvious. The robot only has an ON and OFF button. You have to enable location services (GPS) AND turn on bluetooth on your phone. Once you do that it will be able to locate your cleaning robot in the app. Mine is the X5 but it seems like many vendors use the same crappy app.

Was able to pair my Alfawise S60 window cleaning robot on the 1st try. I am able to control my device as expected. Simple app as expected.
