You will need the book to trigger the functions of the Ghost-o-Matic app. This app uses groundbreaking augmented reality to reveal hidden messages, missing pages, metaphysical phenomena, mysterious puzzles and even ghosts in and around the pages of the book. We need your help. A SPRUNG operative has gone missing. All that remains of him is his Ghostkeeper’s Journal – you’ll need the Ghost-o-Matic app to break the secrets hidden inside. Our operative’s name is Agamemnon White – child prodigy, ecto-genius, and tuna sandwich obsessive. He is also head of Ghostkeeping for the Western region, and was collecting the most powerful ecto-energy types known to man in his Journal. Download the Ghost-o-Matic app, synchronise it with your copy of the Ghostkeeper’s Journal, join SPRUNG, and use the book and app together to retrace Ag’s trail and help us rescue him. I had so many hopes for the app when I got the book. I was so excited to finally be able to use the app. Extremely disappointed when I couldn't scan anything. It would start to scan. I don't know if it's because I have an Motorola e6 or the app just doesn't even work. I have been scanning for 2 minutes straight and nothing. Deleting the app. Would never recommend.

This app is really something special. Normally with "gimmicky" books, there's not much meat to the actual novel. That's not the case with this. Both the story and the app are good, and together they make a phenomenal whole! (The one annoying bit was the Phantasmist summoning area, but, again unlike most tie-in apps, the devs stepped in and recently fixed it.)

Edit: Developer seemed to release a bug fix just for my issue. Thank you! It works! Time to hunt ghosts! Don't know why this book was listed in a Scholastic Book Fair flyer for kindergarteners, but it seems fun to read together. There's just one problem- I can't get past the data entry pledge on my V30. I've tried re-synching a bunch, but the thumbs up button still will not accept it. I've jumped forward a few pages and it works, but keeps prompting me back to the pledge. Help!

my kids got this book at their school book fair and it worked great until they got to the part of scanning the page with Ellie on it. we have tried every way possible to get it to scan and now they are stuck and can't go farther. There is no way to skip it and can't get the third clue without getting her half of the picture to scan. Very disappointing.

It was amazing,i loved the experience and i loved the story line but i was hoping that i could reset it so i could go through the amazing story line again but i couldn't find any way to do so,if the developer or anyone with info on this could explain/help i would greatly appreciate it. (P.S. i just wanted to say im 11 on my moms phone)

It has very good graphics,and a very good book,but the point when I type in my name it always bugs out. And what is the pink no texture patches on the app?I will continue to play this game,and I am playing the 1.1 game. Please fix this.Thx😬

Not working at all, just got the book and the app does not move from the first animation, opening the door. I hope this is solve soon because my son, the whole family and my son's friends could not wait to read and interact with the book.

I downloaded it a first time and it was great.but then my sister uninstalled it accidentally and now it won't let me open the app on my phone. It opens then shows a download complete page and then closes and I get a notice saying that it keeps stopping. Please fix this. Otherwise really fun.

Really cool concept but I, like many others, cannot scan Ellie. Could you point in the direction of how to fix this problem, perhaps? I would use more than the 1/3 hint but it appears that I honestly don't know how. I really want to get past this part and it's very disappointing that I'm unable to.

Dear Developers, I would like to request a way to have 2-3 profiles. My kids use my phone and they are different ages, so I would like a way we can use the same app individually without interfering with each other's place in the book. It is a great app, otherwise!
