A Rádio Evangélica FM 100.7 é a primeira emissora genuinamente evangélica organizada no Brasil. 
O projeto de uma emissora interdenominacional já existia desde o fim da década de 70.

A Rádio Evangélica FM 100.7, foi ao ar, em fase experimental em Setembro de 1985 e definitivamente em 20 de Outubro do mesmo ano, tornando-se a primeira rádio evangélica do Brasil.

Inicialmente a rádio foi chamada de “Esperança FM” e sua programação entrava no ar ás 06h00min da manhã e seguia até meia-noite, o nome que terminou ficando mesmo foi “Evangélica FM 100.7” do Brasil, pelo fato de na época ela ser a única, mas hoje ela está 24 horas no ar.

A Rádio Evangélica FM 100.7 não pertence a qualquer denominação específica, igreja ou grupo empresarial, assim como não tem fins lucrativos e está voltada para a propagação do Evangelho de nosso Senhor JESUS CRISTO.

A FERPE responde por sua administração, e foi organizada com o propósito de dar vida ao sonho de uma rádio exclusivamente evangélica. Mesmo com a chegada de outras emissoras do mesmo segmento, A 100,7 se destaca por trazer em sua história a marca da vanguarda.

Ela foi a primeira a veicular em nossa cidade, canções famosas do chamado “Gospel Internacional” numa época em que essas canções estavam ao alcance de apenas alguns poucos privilegiados.

A sua programação musical mescla sucessos nacionais, internacionais, flashbacks e ainda da vez e voz aos talentos da nossa terra, veiculando em sua programação trabalhos independentes e de pequenas gravadoras. 
É a mais eclética do segmento. Os ritmos regionais também têm vez na nossa grade musical, evidenciando o novo estilo de evangelismo que têm alcançado públicos diversos e mais uma vez colocando a rádio na vanguarda entre as emissoras ligadas ao segmento religioso em nosso país.

The Evangelical Radio 100.7 FM does not belong to any particular denomination, church or business group, and has no profit and is focused on spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
