This app is garbage. I run into issues every time I use it. I only pay for ESPN + and I only care about boxing. But every time I try to cast to the TV, ESPN tries to play whatever is auto playing on the home page. And when I do manage to successfully cast what I actually want to watch, it will freeze for a few seconds every 30 seconds. I can't believe they raised the price two dollars. I'm seriously considering cancelling my subscription. Fix it.

So works fine when I'm not casting, but when I go to cast, it often has an error and won't cast. I have it in 2 different devices. One will never cast what I want, the other will usually after three tries. Sometimes it wants to cast another video altogether from the one that in trying to cast. Since the whole purpose of having the app is to cast usl and mls soccer into my TV, this makes the app close to useless, despite having to pay money every month for it.

Very slow and clunky to use. Video doesn't play at all. Notifications randomly disappear, after being selected. It uses way more battery than it should. It seems like it should be easy to move games that have been selected for notifications to the top into the favorites section, rather than having favorite teams. The scores are very much behind. I could get score updates faster from a teletype machine back in 1992. This is one of the worst sports apps out there for Android.

Utterly useless. Cluttered beyond belief. Many of the sports events I want come up with unable to load errors constantly but come through just fine from the cable provider. Can't even manage to let you tap on a program in the schedule to go directly to the broadcast. That's not even amateur level. You can't even easily select which channel directly from the app. Too much jumping thru hoops. Not worth a dime.

Updated....Was getting authentication error. Contacted Support. I had to turn off wifi, then login. Works fine now, even when I turned wifi back on. I like this app. Plenty of content and besides the issue listed above, never had a problem. I like the fantasy football shows and MMA fights. Purchased ESPN+ with Disney+ bundle.

Barely viewable. I chromecast my games for better viewing than on my phone and it skips and freezes every few seconds. Goes super fuzzy for awhile and then crystal clear. A few times it switched to another game without my help and I had to reload the game I was watching only to miss key moments in the game. Not worth the hassle. Game was on ESPN+.

i dont know what happened to this app. you cannot cast to chromecast can only watch live events for 5 minutes then it goes back to where you started or it jumps to another live event and does the same thing. and the cast drops. its terrible the app is not working properly at all, someone has to do some good work on it or no one is going to renew their subscribtion, its pointless now cannot watch anything, frustrating.

The app on the TV is terrible. I set up my favorite teams but my teams were never organized to find games quickly. The live stream games constantly buffer, the quality is poor, and the rewind and fast forward keys are extremely slow to react. Oh I just noticed the commercials are crystal clear because we all want to watch commercials more than the game (ha, ha, ha). No wonder OU and TX left the Big 12.

Used to be good. Not now. Sooooo many ads that it is more frustrating than enjoyable. I pay for ESPN + shouldn't that get me ad free ESPN at least. The videos take forever to load and you have to suffer through the same couple of ads on Every. Single. Video. There lots of glitches where the app will unexpectedly close. Now it won't let me stream anything on ESPN plus. I Uninstalled the app, rebooted the phone, downloaded app again and now ESPN says it is unable to install on this device.

Completely unacceptable service from espn+. Most of the time the motion blur is so bad that the whole app is unwatchable. App crashes all the time and does not pickup where you were, you have to start whole event over. You have to scroll for ever to get to certain events because the search bar is useless. It's one of the, if not THE most expensive app avaliable and it's undoubtedly the poorest performing. The amount they charge is criminal imo, especially for the trash service they provide.
