UPDATE: 3.0.2 Appears to have fixed the previous display big. Thanks! Latest update (3.0.1) says that I chose English and this it's available in a new design. After that, no content at all displays. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it worked once and then showed the message and no more content again.

News content great... poor app design update... News content always as expected. On tablet, poor interaction for Galaxy Tab A buttons and content not scaled to screen size on either rotation axis. Link buttons not functional. No way to contact developer/organization via app is a readily apparant. Old presentation was better because i could read the news. 2021 Nov 17.

'New' app gives a blank screen after clicking on a notification. Clean re-install achieved absolutely nothing. 'New' app is complete trash.

Informative, and an enjoyable layout of varied global news and stories...a we bit biased/what isn't anymore?! Get your news from many sources; beware of malice aggendas. This app freezes up in use and does not update regularly. I do not have problems with other networks updating spontaneously on my phone, with permission of course! I am Uninstalling for two reasons today: the app is not working properly, and your views are too lefty...and some! All lives matter!!!

Good coverage from DW as you would expect. But it needs a better way to fine tune news (sports, finance, politics, etc.). And there is no way to silence the alerts like with BBC, AP, and others. It makes a noise every time. Very distracting.

Great place see what's happening in the world. Broad ranging stories from around the globe. Emphasis on Germany an the EU as youd expect, but plenty of articles about USA. Also DW has great coverage of Africa which is so often ignored in Western news. It would be challenging to find anything better than Deutsche Welle (DW) for news and commentary anywhere. Keep up the great work keeping the world informed.

Used to be a great source of fact based, unbiased news, has now become incredibly skewed with their reporting, leaving out information, and heavily focusing on other information in obvious attempts to push the reader to see things a certain way, instead of simply reporting facts as they used to. I don't care what policital leaning a person has, the news should be fact based, informing readers of what's happening, not merely tailoring content to reinforce existing beliefs.

If it were not for the anti-European articles, this news source would be practically non-existent. In comparing articles with various Euro and US sites, DW always but always leaves out important and pertinent details when reporting on refugee /migrant crime & violence, ME crisis, US news, and terrorism. Overall very biased reporting to say the least.
